So I am really glad this place opened down the street fro my work. A pleasant addition to the growing, quality craft beer scene in Phoenix. After moving from San Diego it was one of the things I missed most. This place has all the potential of making it big. They have really great food ( albeit a tad pricey food imo) but their star is the IPA. Really enjoyable, and my favorite out of the flight we had ordered. The food was also, really good. Out of the skewers, and the tortillas-yucatecan banana leaf pork belly taco we had, I think I enjoyed the most simple chicharrones with my beer. They are sweet and salty pork rinds, which really are the perfect finger food while enjoying crispy beers on a 100 degree day. I also have to give a shout out to the pineapple jicama salsa- so refreshing with my taco in the summer!! Definitely worth a visit!

Opened recently, had driven past before, finally decided to check it out for Sunday brunch, very nondescript outside but inside its very spacious, food atmosphere, and the food is just great. Figured itd just be bad food but not at all-my boyfriend had amazing carnitas tacos and duck fat charro beans, I had spicy chorico sausage and masa corn biscuits and gravy, and a mimosa made with fresh watermelon juice. The bf is a big craft beer fan and loved their whole flight. Dessert of mesquite doughnut bites with blackberries, cocoa nibs, and whipped peanut butter filling. Seriously the whole menu looked amazing, we made a plan to be regulars on Tuesday for their taco and beer special before our food even came out. Very unexpected gem in the Petsmart/Planet Fitness shopping center!

We went here for the first time for my husbands birthday. The food and beer was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful but table service was average. They left our menus on the table for the whole meal. The kids menu only had 2 items (cheese crisp or chicken quesadilla) and our son didnt like either one so we popped over to Peter Piper Pizza to get him a pizza. They did bring a wonderful bowl of ice cream for my hubbys birthday with a candle and sprinkles but they brought it when we were at Peter Piper getting the pizza so...no singing happy birthday from us or the staff. Kinda strange timing...

We thoroughly enjoyed the beer at this brand new Phoenix brewery and the food offerings are varied and delicious. This time, we tried the banana corn bread which was described to us as Crack bread- it was addictive due to its crispy outside, sweet inside, and outrageous cracked pepper butter slathered on top. We also tried a teary bean puree with fry bread and pickled veggies. Everything on the plate was meant to be there. The puree can be described as a hummus of sorts with good flavor and texture and the pickles were a perfect tangy complement. We will be back to try more for sure!

What a great find! I found myself in Phoenix south some extra time. We found this brewery by chance. They have a small but extremely well done menu. Dont pass on the sopressata chips...So tasty. My boyfriend had the chicken tacos and I opted for the protein bowl. The tacos must have been good because he didnt even offer me a bite. The protein bowl turned out to be more food than it appeared at first glance. It was good though I would have like a little acid on there. Maybe some of those pickled onions that accompanied the tacos. Loved their porter!

Great beer, literally incredible food, helpful and attentive staff, and did I mention the food?? Wow. This is a very unassuming brewery that needs to be noticed. Easy place to hangout and talk with a friend but also with ample room to bring a party of 20. We had the beer flight to try everything and werent disappointed. I loved the Blackberry Wheat and Robust Porter. We split the Sweet & Spicy Chicharrons (which came out hot and still sizzling) and finished with Mesquite Honey Chicken tacos. Fantastic from start to finish. Support your local brewery.

The menu options at Helio Basin are phenomenal: tacos with handmade tortillas, bean soup, cornbread, frybread with tepary bean paste... traditional and modern at the same time. They have some very interesting beers as well, but they havent yet reached the same caliber as their food. Each new beer that comes out continues to impress, and Im sure theyll really going to knock it out of the ballpark by the end of the year. Looking forward to the Kohi coffee stout!

Indescribably good food. Im never disappointed, and I never leave hungry. Standout seasonal beers cap off a well-balanced core brew offering. The new brunch and specials menus only add to the galaxy of flavors and libations. Try the cornbread, try the charro, try them mixed together and try not to cry. Then try ALL the tortilla plates. *Especially the war bonnet carnitas. Spicy, savory, sweet...superb.

Had a great experience, very warm and welcoming, clean and easy to navigate. Prices are standard for the quality of service and more than the service, the general upkeep is extremely professional. I would definitely recommend this as a place to gather with family and friends, at any time of day or night they are open. It is easily a memorable experience and I will definitely keep coming back!

This place is essential. Chill relaxed spot to enjoy a couple tasty beers and some outta control great tacos! Added some photos of the two seasonal tacos I had tonight. Happy hour Tuesday is 2 tacos and a home brew for $10. Not a bad gig. The tri-tip taco has been my favorite. ITS GOOD. If you want some crunchy cuisine and some adult sodas, check this place out.

So I had conflicting reviews from locals about this place. All said the food was amazing. A couple said the beer was good and one said the beer was passible. I decided to give is it a try and Im glad I did. I was here in the first day of the release of their Jam Sesh Session and it was amazing. Awesome place and great atmosphere.

Had been waiting to visit since it opened. The beers did not disappoint and the food was A+. Banana cornbread? Crack. chicharrones? right behind. the tortillas (tacos - but a bit bigger and loaded) were original in their toppings and had flavor far above what you would typically expect a brewery to have. Nice work!

Great beer. Their flavor profile is right in my wheelhouse. Some breweries when they first open take a while to get their footing, bit these guys have it dialed already. Food is also fantastic! Chef created a great menu to go with the beer. I plan to be a regular!

Super small menu. Only a couple different tacos and two werent available. Beertender spent most of his time in the back and seemed like he hadnt had a day off since the holocaust. Had a smile like hed been there. Went to yard house after 2 lack luster brews

Service was friendly and fast. The ice cream-beer pairing was exceptional! This place has inventive concepts, although they are still young. Beer was solid, although I cannot wait to see what else they come up with. Atmosphere was friendly and relaxed.
