My fiancé and I went here for dinner on a weeknight after 5:30 PM and there were two bartenders and one server on the floor. One server for the entire restaurant. It would have been forgivable (hey, folks can call out or there can be an unexpected rush of customers, it happens) except the one server was not moving fast at all. There was no hostess to seat us, so we took a seat near the door after 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, the waitress (who we didnt see around the restaurant the entire time) comes up and takes our drink order, and then brings the menus with the drinks. Simple order: 2 chicken boxtys with 2 side orders of Irish soda bread. The food came out about 30 minutes later. The soda bread was good! The chicken boxty was okay. It came with a side of unseasoned, steamed broccoli. It took another 15-20 minutes after we were finished eating our meal to get our check while the server strolled around the restaurant. If we hadnt had the credit card ready immediately for her to take and ring up, I have no idea how long it would have taken her to come back to get it. We wont be coming here ever again. If you are a regular and know the folks here, or if you are going with a regular who knows the folks here, its probably not so horrible. Probably best for drinks at the bar and not to sit down and eat. Maybe that was our problem!

Irish beef stew, shepherd pie, sausage rolls, and the bread pudding were all excellent and worth the price. Everyone in the group was very happy with their selection. It was lunchtime on NYE - there were plenty of people there to put up decorations for this evening, but they only had one person there working as a server (not sure how many were working the kitchen). It took quite a while for us to get our food, and even then, only two of the four of us got food at first, and then it took a while for the other two to receive their food. A drink that was ordered early on in the meal wasnt brought out until after the check had been paid. I believe our server was doing the best she could with the other tables she had but it is unfortunate that they werent properly staffed to make it a 5 star experience for our first time dining at The Dubliner.

Very slow service. Tap beer served in warm glass. Asked for chilled glass, told to wait. Once glass was chilled, bartender took the warm beer( after sitting in warm glass 20 mins) poured into chilled glass. Did not even get a fresh beer! Loud drunk screaming at b- ball game. Some customers left do to this drunk. He was not cut off. Extremely drunk & loud. Ordered food, it was served. Order was wrong. Waitress tried to fix it. Dinner ordered tasted like dirt, or mold. The other part of the dinner was brought to table- ice cold mashed tatoes. Told waitress we would like bill, did tip her, but wasnt worth the $45 plus tip! Terrible food. Warm beer. Obnoxious customers. Only good thing was the nice waitress! Will never return.....

A group us went to send off my grandson into the Army (after being a Marine for 4yrs - go figure). There were 5 of us, happy hour on a Saturday night. We ordered food and a steady round of drinks. Mali, our server, did an awesome job of staying on top of what we wanted and checked with us regularly, but not too much. We did have a bit of a challenge from the bar in getting her our drinks promptly, but not her issue. The wings, shephard pie, burgers, all done right. A tad noisy, but hey, its a pub and its Saturday night. Weve been a semi-regular there for over 10 years and its a go to place always.

I havent been here officially yet but someone from the pub who comes in at my work at times brought me in one of the fish and chips it was awesome plus I hear you guys got other great food and drinks here too. I hope I can stop in for a drink sometime when I become a little more stable in funds. But hey since you guys also got a pokestop too for pokemon go that makes it 10x more worth it to stop in someday. Hope I can see you guys soon :) and trust me Im Irish I can drink quite a bit you might have made a new customer

4/29/17 Really enjoyed the crowd, live music, and friendly service from our server (Heather)when we checked out this place back in March. My bff and I were in town for a Ragnar Relay and staying with a local friend, who brought us here the night we got in. Unfortunately, it was too late to get any food (but Del Taco isnt far!) But we still enjoyed chatting at a table and listening to live music. Prices were good and service was outstanding!

Best fricken place to enjoy everybody, everything on any day! Without a doubt the only way to brighten a day. Every talented member on staff brings a unique, refreshing quality in service that will never let you down. A PV point of pride that spans generations....Love it, Love it, Love it. My favorite place to enjoy "my beer, thats not really a beer" (ginger ale,no ice, served in a pint glass). Love u guys.....

I gave it 2 Stars because of the alcohol. Stay away from the food! Everything Ive eaten there taste like s*** on a stick. Its a cool place. Good people but their food is HORRIBLE! This is a neighborhood bar. when I want to go somewhere close I like to go there hence I have given their food several tries. Just dont do it. Ive NEVER been to a place where theres not one good thing on the menu.

A fairly quiet restaurant during the day, I always come here for their Happy Hour specials. Service is average and so are some of the appetizers, but you cant beat these prices! My only major issues are that its sometimes a challenge to get service if youre sitting at a table and not the bar, and the random small children that sometimes run unsupervised through the pub.

Customer Service was aweful. The girl behind the bar wouldnt help us because we were playing darts and the server wouldnt help us because we needed to go to the bar. What a hard way just to enjoy some pints. Watied 30 minutes for a PINT. I will never return. Sad day when Customer Service is this poor. Then she got made becuase I was a good tipper. HA

This has been my neighborhood hang out for over 10 years! Its always been a great place to hang out. Sure, the bartenders have changed, but the atmosphere has remains friendly, and the new bartenders are quick to learn the people. The owners are great people, and the live music is awesome! Try the fish fry, its all you can eat!

The regulars here are bigots and assh*les and will do their best to make you feel unwelcome if you arent exactly like them. This place is stuck in thr 1800s as far as their treatment of "outsiders". Avoid this place if you are an open minded, good hearted person. A hang out for racist, sexist pricks.

The Dub is By Far my most favorite neighborhood bar! The atmosphere is warm & open walking in you catch into the very laid back vibe. Four dart boards in back, trivia night, and the largest, most divine, plate of mashed potatoes & gravey youve ever devoured...well, they was my experience of it!
