On a whim I went to Hong Kong City after driving by it several times. I have to say Im pleasantly surprised as the Chinese food places around here usually underwhelms me each time I go out looking. It is cheaper than Bamboo Garden, which I believe is the cheapest in Bozeman, and the food is better than Chinatown/Bamboo Garden/The Wok. The staff is friendly and so far I have not been disappointed yet with any of the stuff Ive tried on the menu. If you want good atmosphere, perhaps the Wok or Chinatown has a better setup, but if you want good Chinese food at a very reasonable price, Hong Kong City is definitely THE place to be. In my opinion, HKC has the most authentic (and tastiest) Chinese food in the Bozeman/Belgrade area and its worth the return trip.

Went there today and we ordered four dishes. One of them was a chicken dish. The chicken was RAW. We showed it to the manager and he said it was ok to eat. It was completely raw!!!! I took photos of it. Not only did it taste raw, you can even see that it looks raw. When asking them to remove the dish from the bill, the man gave us 10% off, so not even half price for the dish that we did not eat. When I went to pay I told the waitress I was going to report them for serving us and charging us for raw food, so she removed the dish from the bill. Very disappointed. We used to enjoy dining here and now we will never be going back. If you eat here, just double check your meat is cooked. Food poising can be very dangerous.

Terrible food but super expensive. First of all any Shrimp item would cost you about $19 before taxes (which is very expensive as compare to other Chinese restaurant), but the food was raw and uncooked. We politely asked the Owner/Manager about that issues and it turned out like "You have to pay no matter how the food taste". The manager was not apologetic at all, and she acted very rudely. In addition to that they will force you to pay 15% service charge without your knowledge. So please do yourself a favor, dine somewhere else. If you never had terrible experience of dining in a restaurant, please visiting here and have fun

This one does not even deserve 1 star. 1st of all I ordered something and the food tasted something else. When the check came we complained about the quality of the food to the resturant owner and it seems like she does not care a bit about it. She was so ignorant she didnt bothered to give a proper reply and gave a cold shoulder. More she forcefully added a 15% gratuity to the check. Overall this is the worst resturant I ever visited and I strongly recommand everyone to avoid it.

We love this place! The veggies are crisp, food is served quickly. We have never had a bad experience with the service or quality of the dishes. We have enjoyed many warm smiles and lovely meals. Our favorites are the sesame beef (better dining in vs. take out as it is a nice crisp consistency right out of the kitchen) And the chicken with snow peas mixed vegetables. We have introduced many friends and family members to Hong Kong City, all of whom became regular customers.

Horrible service bad food. We ended up sending back a dish that was prepared poorly and got charged for it anyway after sending it back and ordering something else. When we brought it up, our waitress told us that "you pay anyway! ... anyway we ended up paying over $40 for mediocre sweet and sour pork and orange chicken. I recommend going and paying $5 at McDonalds down the street. They have better food and WAY better service.

Always GREAT tasting authentic chinese and thai food at a great price for decent sized portions. The service is faster than any restaurant I have been to. The lunch specials are a great deal! The college student servers and chefs are very friendly and accomodating. My favorites are the chicken curry, Mongolian chicken, phad thai and po po platter. Definitely the best chinese food in the gallatin valley by far. Enjoy!

By far the best Chinese in the valley ... I lived near the best Chinese in San Francisco and Seattle and this food is on par or above and beyond what most would consider great. Generous portions, excellent cuts of meat (no fat AT ALL) and crisp clean veggies makes hong kong city a special find in Montana let alone Belgrade.

Most horrible shrimp pad Thai I ever had. Shrimp wasnt fresh and was very smelly. I was very hungry but could not able to eat it. Moreover, after that bad service, they put 15% tip on that. In menu card, there wasnt any information about that mandatory 15% service charge. I am not happy at all.

By far the best Chinese restaurant in the Bozeman/Belgrade area. Service is very fast, restaurant is clean. Your order is prepared immediately and comes to your table hot and fresh. My family and I love eating here and we recommend it to all our friends.
