54th advertises a frosty mug. Not for us and it took over 30 minutes from the time we sat down to get a beer. The service continued to get worse from there. A manager stopped at the table, not to make the situation better...Instead he antagonized us and tried to blame us for the bad service. He explained that they were busy and how could we expect his best waitress to give us good service. He then sent us the check (full price) and the expectation was for us to leave. They brought out To Go boxes. The regional manager called today and tried to find out specifics about the waitress and then backed up the manager. I thought the manager at the store was new, or needed training. Seems like the regional manager DID train him. I worked in restaurants or retail for 22 years and never have I seen worse treatment of a customer. A group of 6 of us agree that this was the worst dining experience of all time. The regional manager only apologized for the poor service, but all restaurants give poor service so we should expect it. Next time he aims to make it better. Next time? There will not be a next time!!! Massas, Blue Sky, BCs Kitchen and Outback all value my business and are all closer. It was nice knowing you 54th Street!

The Good: I always thought of this place as just another Applebees and didnt have high expectations when it was picked as the destination for a Sunday lunch with the extended family. Looking over the menu, I thought the prices seemed a bit high. I ordered the Gyro and was pleasantly surprised. I also tasted a burger another member of our party ordered and it was fantastic as well. The little ones also loved the decorations all over the wall. The Bad: When we went we had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. That being said, we did have a large group and it was a Sunday afternoon. It took a little while to get our food, but again, we did go at a very busy time with a large group. Summary: I would definitely come back again. The menu seemed a little on the pricey side for me, but the great food helped justify the cost.

I really enjoyed this place and was pleasantly surprised that while the menu has some similar sounding dishes as other chain restaurants of this type, the dishes that I tried were different enough to make them much more elevated in flavor and quality. I love their wraps, especially the southwest veggie. Their Mac Daddy and Cheese is very good! They have good vegetarian options, as well as for meat lovers. I really enjoyed the food here and will definitely go again the next time I am in town. The ambiance reminded me of a mix somewhere between Fridays and Red Robin. They have a nice kids menu and we all left feeling very satisfied. I also love that they have a take out drive through!

They dropped mayo down my daughters back. Never apologized. Manager came by and offered to get dessert, while speaking to the table. The table ordered dessert and he came back and said I cant give the whole table dessert just three. Again , no direct apology for my daughter. Upon leaving my daughter asked to speak to the manager and when she pointed out the lack of apology, the offer of dessert then clarification of only for some, she stated that it seems there is a lack of management and people skills...the manager LAUGHED IN HER FACE. We will never be going there again and will be guiding all friends and family not to partronize.

54th street is a small step up from Applebees. The menu is extensive, but much of the offerings are hit and miss. Their carside is pretty good, I have never had my orders screwed up. The people working the carside are pretty polite (much better than Applebees). The place gets extremely busy in the evenings after 5. But what bar and grill doesnt? I only mention it because wait time can skyrocket so try to get in before 5. I noticed someone said fights break out, and it turns into a "gangster paradise" but I have never noticed anything like this happening. Overall not bad, Wentzville does have some better places to eat however.

This is an all-around favorite in Wentzville. Its always crowded, but always worth the wait. They offer curbside to-go if you wanna skip the wait but enjoy the delicious food. Their quesadillas are magical, but my favorite entree is the blackened chicken sandwich. Try anything though, the menu is enormous. Whether you wanna go to the bar for drinks during happy hour, or have a family dinner around a large round table, this place is for you. However, I will say that the inside is always kept dark (to match their atmosphere) and at times can be so noisy you leave with a headache. This just means its a popular place.

Every time I go with my family, we usually wait about 20-30 minutes in the front waiting area for a table. We usually go on busy days and dont realize it. Not bad at all though. When we get to our table and order, I always get 4 or 5 Chicken Tenders with fries and normally a Strawberry Lemonade. Everything tastes perfect every time I go. Waitresses/Waiters are always nice to my family and when we ask for something, theyd give it to us. Id have to say everything is perfect at 54th Street.

lots of fights happen here late night. This place has turned into a gangsters paradise.I cant stand all the gun play just because a sever accidentally stepped on your Pumas.Ohh and the food is hit or miss.I wouldnt order the chicken wings if there are alot of Crips in there because they hate the red color of the wings and you might end up in a bare knuckle chain fight out back or inside...hell they dont care.

Not a good night at 54th. Our server must have been on break because we sat at the table for almost 10 min before we saw her. Then the salads come out at the same time we get our drinks. Halfway through the salads the rest of the meal is dropped off. Ribs were stone cold. Manager tried to make up for it but there was just no way to fix something that should never have happened.

Great place, busy at times but found a bar seat easily. Very friendly staff and locals. Great drinks! Floors slippery by nature - careful! Local said they have a really good deal where you buy some sort of card or membership I think it was annually and get half off your drinks certain days of the week, he said it was well worth it if your a native and local
