Sunday Night April 16, 2017. The bartender and waitresses get a B-. They had a great customer service. However, they didnt seem to want to get to know me so I wouldnt give more than a B-. I just kind of sat there and stared at the TV. Usually bartenders like to make conversation when its slow, and it wouldnt be fair to give them an A when there are other bartenders that try harder. I was tipping $2, plus any change I get back, per drink. Let me know if that is the reason why they didnt pay attention to me. Should I have to $10 per drink? I left Hot Shots because a customer ask me why I was peacocking. He was trying to start a fight with me because he truly thought I was peacocking. Leaving the situation is a very smart idea. There are some people who still think that throwing a sport jacket on is considered peacocking no matter how cheap the clothing is underneath. I returned around 12:15 a.m. Sunday night. There was a man at the door turning people away because the bar is closing. As I was walking in, I had a smile on my face because everythings going great. When I walked in there, a male employee was very rude to me turning my smile upside down. He ask me why I was returning in an aggressive matter. His actions has cost this rating to go from 5 stars to 1 star. Theres no excuse for acting aggressive towards a customer no matter the situation. Employee should always put customers first no matter the situation. Customers are a reason why they have a job. And, there is definitely no excuse for that behavior for a returning customer and even if the restaurant is closed. There are many other ways of handling that situation in a very positive matter, so I do return another day to spend money. One thing that they could have said in a very positive matter with a smile, "I apologize sir for this restaurant is getting ready to shut its doors. We do close earlier on Sunday. Please return soon and when you do, try this new item that we have on the menu."

So my husband and i walk in to join our friends (new years eve, at 9pm) the waitress looked at him like he was dumb when he ordered his drink. She wouldnt get it for him so the manaher came over to make sure he was ok to drink (im the dd mind you) He finally got his drink (extremely week) once he was done the waitress looked at his drink 4 times and didnt ask if he wanted another. When our friend told her he needed a drink she looked at us like we were dumb and asked if i needed a drink (again, im the dd) i informed her of this and she told us we could take our business elsewhere. I finally asked for the manager again and asked if he felt my husband was drunk (he replied no) and so i asked how come he couldnt get his drink. His only suggestion to us was to change sections. I feel if there wasnt an actual problem we should have been given a new waitress. Very poor service. I definitely expected better, especially on new years and when someone has a dd (bc apparently one drink makes you drunk these days)

The hot shots location is pretty good. The food Ive had when going there was above average, the wait staff was pretty nice, and the food was fairly priced. One thing I have noticed is that it seems like every time I go there it takes longer than expected to get my food. Not too crazy long, just longer than Im used to. So overall its a pretty good place to sit down and have food and a few drinks. They also have pool tables and dart boards, so if your looking for a place to go drink and play games, hot shots is probably a pretty good choice.

I would give them zero stars if it was possible. My family and I waited in their for 25 minutes just to get menus. Even after complaining to the bartender, we had to wait 20 more minutes and they still didnt even ask what we wanted to eat. They werent busy when we got there, we were in plain sight, and a couple that came in 20 minutes after us got service before we even got noticed. Several waitresses walked passed our table and did nothing. We will never be going back.

That "amber" waitress has completely ruined the " fun but classy" atmosphere. She offered her personal phone number to my boyfriend to help with "future take out orders". I myself am waitress and know thats NOT how it works. And regards to the food, it was burned to a crisp yet still boxed. Further backing the barely dressed bartenders stereotype assumptions.

I went in for lunch to check it out as its fairly new. It seems fairly popular as I see quite a few cars there and they are expanding the parking so business must be good. When I got inside, I was ignored for 5 solid minutes. It was so terribly loud with music blasting I decided to leave. No greeting no hostess and intensely loud music.

My waitress alicia was the best and so friendly would rate her 5 + on her performance fries were hot chips you cant mess up but now for the brisket sandwich i had a minus -5 cold sliced so thin thought i was having a dried out bacon sandwich horrible for my first time here think you need to find a good cook

Ordered a pizza for take home and it was burnt. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned and ate in. This time the food was fantastic but the service was not. My server seemed to be rushing me to leave. I wont be back and because Im the wrong clientele Im sure they wont care.

Was really happy with the food, could be better staffed it was way too loud for my liking, but I also get thats part of the atmosphere of a sports bar. Plan to come back for a lunch sometime.

Waited for 10 mins for bartender to notice we were even there. They need better bartenders or more help. Expensive for the service & drinks. Rather waste $ in a more fun atmosphere.

Hotshots in Wentzville is great most days. Cold beer, good food, decent prices, and to cap it off, the service & servers are awesome. Definitely recommend it.

Its a nice place to watch sports. They have pool tables and dart boards. Nice outdoor seating. Non-smoking, except on patio. Service is hit or miss.
