Ordered "hashbrowns, smothered" and a couple eggs. When asked how I wanted them cooked I simply said "however the cook wants to make them" (they came out a slightly crisped basted, but tasty). Hashbrowns a delight and a biscuit besides. All for $4.61. Cant beat that with a stick. But what a fabulous slice of Americana!

There was one guy, He kept washing dishes and spraying my food and coffee down with water. But after telling my waitress she quickly replaced my food and drink and all was good. I gave it 2 stars because other than my waitress the rest of the employees were rude.

This is a newer WH location, so the building is still in great shape and typically looks as clean as you would hope for. The staff has always been friendly. This is my preferred St. Charles location, even though I have to drive further to get to it.

It has that same Waffle House food that you either love or hate. But the booths are all so cramped that heavier people are going to have trouble even getting in them which is sort of ironic when you think about it.
