My husband loves Chinese and stops to pick it up at least once a week. This week he decided to try China One since it was so close to our house. The General Tsos was hard, dry with very little sauce and extremely chewy. It was almost like it was reheated from a week ago. We also got an order of 8 crab rangoons that were overdone, had very little "crab" and they came with no sauce at all. We didnt realize this until we got it home (5 minutes away) and were stuck trying to find a substitute. My husband keeps repeating, "worst chinese ever" over and over. To top it off, compared to other chinese restaurants this one was pretty pricey. Definitely wont stop there again.

I love Chinese food! Its my favorite and I am very picky on which place I eat from. My boyfriend and I were staying in a hotel in Maryland Heights and wanted something fast to bring back to our room to eat. I found this place and ordered our meals and we were not disappointed at all! The crab rangoons were bigger than most and delicious! They are fairly priced as well! I have no complaints whatsoever. They were polite and fast with large quanities. We must get carry out each time we come into town. The food is hot and fresh! If you like Chinese food, you will not be disappointed with this pick!

First time was great many months ago. Sweet & sour chicken came with veggies and sauce was great. Today quite the opposite, no veggies and sauce was runny and vinegar strong.... Very strong. Could not eat. The price for a combo meal, half order of beef fried rice and order of crab rangoon was almost $18. I also asked for my rice well done, basically FRIED, and they never do. This was my last order with them. Looking for a replacement close to home. I know great places in south county but too far for me.

Very reasonable in price! I would rank them number 2 of all Chinese Resturants in the Saint Louis area, number 1 is Chinese Noodle Cafe in the Delmar Loop. On to China 1, all the staples are served with a smile and welcome familiarity. The food always characteristic to expectations. The soups are a bit weak in my opinion but that is my only complaint and this extended to all Chinese restaurants in Saint Louis besides Chinese Noodle Cafe.

I dont care what anyone says about this place it is GREAT! One of the best chinese places I have eaten at. The crab rangoon is sweet and filled with a large amount of ingredients, and cooked to perfection! I personally enjoy the Chicken Lo Mein the most! I eat here nearly 4 times a month because the guy at the register is so nice and always brings me and my coworkers our food to the table. Great service! Great food!

Pros: I love the lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, egg drop soup, egg rolls, and fried spring rolls. My husband also loves their wonton soup, as it comes with 10 wontons in their large size--great deal for the price. They have coupons on their menu. Food is always very fast. Cheaper than Zang Chi on Olive, and the soups are better. Cons: They dont deliver, and their fried rice isnt very good.

Love love love this place. Always super friendly service, go there so often they know my order when we come in the door. Tried cashew, sesame, general Sao chicken and always tasty. Rice is yum and the crab Rangoon are made fresh usually when ordering. Not a fan of the egg rolls personally but my boyfriend loves them. Overall I highly recommend and go there at least once a week.

I heard great things about this restaurant. My first time trying it and it was horrible. I ordered chicken fried rice and chicken egg foo young. They burnt the chicken in my rice and the egg foo young patties came extra crispy. I will not be eating at this place again.

I LOVE China One. Let me tell you... The crab rangoons are the best Ive had! They have some great combination plates and give generous portions. Everytime I come, the guy at the front is always very welcoming and knows my order. Do yourself a favor and stop here!
