The food is good here but Im not sure Ill be ordering again. Our food took over an hour and then when we handed the driver our cash and shut the door a few minutes later she knocked again on our door and asked for more of a tip because she doesnt get paid for mileage and our apartment is farther than she wanted to drive. She continues to say that she doesnt understand why they give out delivery menus this far away. I told her that I was sorry that I didnt have anymore cash and then it took over an hour to get our food. Im in customer service and sometimes I get tips but if I dont I would never ask for more of a tip thats extremely rude.

We moved from Chicago North side to Ellisville 4 months ago and the DRIVER from this restaurant was very rude and informed us that 4 miles was too far. The food but it was OK but the service was so unprofessional that we will never order again. Upon ordering they took our address down so that would have been the time to deny the order instead they decided to deliver, get the money, and be rude. When we called to complain they lady then laughed and said "well it is dinner time", as if that explained the poor service. We are in the Midwest so respectful service is expected....this place gave none. Do NOT order!!!

China 1 is a relatively new place, and from the moment I tried them I havent gone anywhere else. If you substitute shrimp for chicken or beef, they consistently give you twice as many as other places, and the shrimp are twice as large. I couldnt go back to the other chain restaurants when this one is family owned, freshly made and incredibly affordable. After eating this place, I wonder what Ive been eating for the past 10 years...

When this place first opened up years ago, it was very good but now everything tastes like it was made in month-old reused oil. The staff are lifeless and mean and I never go here anymore. Honestly, the only good take out places in the entire county are China King in Ferguson/Jennings area and China Garden near Clayton/141 isnt bad either.

So a co-worker told me about it, and it looked like every other Chinese establishment, but I gotta say... it was really good. I got the orange chicken with fried rice and eggroll. all my other co-workers agreed, and were all pretty picky. nice folks, but had a hard time understanding them. Not their fault though. 4 stars

This is the best chinese food at great prices. Only 1 place Ive had better; it was in Winder, GA and closed now. So, this is officially the BEST Chinese restaurant now. Ive had almost all the chinese restaurants in the area, and this one has the best flavor, food quality, and value. (Yangzee was the worst)

SOOOO YUMMY, their lunch special options are similar to every other chinese restaurants options but it taste 10 time better. their kung pao chicken is my favorite, and unlike other places they dont give you like two pieces of meat and 90% vegetables.

Not a single vegetable in the sweet & sour chicken and nothing other than cabbage in the egg roll. Nothing but 5 specks of ham in the fried rice. Total rip off. Save your money and buy a microwave meal from the store.
