First visit to the Living Room in Maplewood surpassed expectations. Staff was great - very knowledgeable about coffee, baked goods and great service. This trip kept things simple - pour over Ethiopian coffee paired with a blueberry scone and cherry jam. Coffee was excellent, as was the scone - and the jam was amazing. I had met a friend there. He had a Cappuccino, toast and a boiled egg. His comments matched my own. Great place for coffee and conversation. Will be back.

The food is excellent and so is the coffee. The prices are a bit high but the quality of the coffee and food make up for it. The workday sandwich is delicious. The wait times are extremely long on the weekend though. The last time I was there I waited 33 minutes for my coffee. I was finished with my food before coffee arrived. Hopefully they will staff more baristas in the early weekend mornings in the future.

Lot of hipster tude at this spot, but if youre wanting a light breakfast that doesnt skimp on quality ingredients, this is the spot. Super well crafted biscuits and scones, correctly prepared bacon and soft eggs. Very good espresso drinks. Yogurt granola bowl is an excellent example of that dish as well - rich flavorful yogurt, crispy sweet and just a touch salty granola, well chosen fresh fruit.

Excellent quality beans, proper roasting and careful preparation apparently must be important, because this place has amazing coffee! My favorite is the Kyoto brew with the Kenyan beans. Wow! I had no idea coffee could taste this good until now. I almost forgot, their baked goods and food are excellent as well. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly as well.

The Living Room is easy to miss, and not super visible unless you are looking for it. Look for the umbrellas. The space is small, 4 tables and two long counter tops. The interior is beautiful, complete with fresh flowers, very much a stand out. The staff is helpful and the coffee is good. Didnt try the baked goods, but they look great!

Had a great lunch at Living Room today. Custom strawberry/lemon soda and chicken salad sandwich with a small arugula side salad. The soda was a tad too sweet, so I would ask for less syrup next time. The chicken salad was really good - with nuts and grapes on fresh bread. Yum!! Next time Ill have to try coffee.....

This is my new favorite brunch/lunch spot. If you are a coffee or tea lover, youll love this place. If you are a breakfast person, youll love this place. If youre looking for a really, really good salad or sandwich, youll love this place! Its cozy and cute, and the food is fantastic.

Very good coffee, if a bit pricey. Nice place for a light breakfast; I had a toasted cheese and my husband had workaday. The bread is very good and the sandwiches nicely made. Make sure to have the mixed greens and shortbread cookie. Plenty of parking. Glad we stopped by.

The Living Room is a great place for a delicious breakfast or lunch and wonderful coffee. Great seating inside and an awesome patio for those nice spring or fall days. The friendly staff are the final piece that make the Living Room a 5 star establishment.

A little expensive but also top notch food. Got a scone and single cup of coffee for $8. Coffee was excellent; chocolate almond coconut scone was too. Comfortable dining area and outside seating--not fancy, kinda like a living room.

Pretty good experience all around. Very nice soft boiled eggs and most of the menu is freshly prepared in-house. Only complaint could be that the menu is limited but everything on it is great as far as I know.

Expect to wait at least 30 minutes for your coffee and longer for your food. The drinks and food are good, but in the past few months the wait has gotten longer and is just not worth it to me most days.

Well trained, friendly baristas (especially Almond) - in-house roasted specialty coffee - a cozy & sunny array of bar stool/dinette seating. Im DEFINITELY coming back next time Im in St. Louis!

Such a good atmosphere!!! The barista named Almond is a whiz at making fun coffee concoctions. There are baskets full of random craft projects for customers to work on, who doesnt love crafts?

The best scones hands down. Of course, I like everything else too (croissants, quiches, other good food, coffee and espresso of all kinds) but I really go for the scones - as often as I can!

Nice coffee, very reasonable price. Decently roomy sitting area, with a nice and relaxing front porch. This place also has food for mostly under $10, big portion. Wifi is decently fast.

Amazing food, always delicious and well made. The coffee is amazing, and I highly recommend the Elvis toast. It is rather small, so it can be hard to get a seat inside.

Delicious! Im addicted to the Elvis toast but my friends swear by the baked goods and sandwiches. Comfy, coloring books for adults at the tables, kid-friendly....

Cozy and quant coffee house tucked in the Maplewood area...one of my personal favorite STL coffee shops. Try the salted honey latte for a treat, so so good!!

I cant ask for much more in a cafe—its a great place to catch up on work or grab coffee/lunch with friends. Drinks are all solid and so is the food.

Very expensive. Only had coffee, which was not bad at all, but far too pricey to justify a repeat visit. Nice people, nice vibe :-)
