Unfortunately I dont think ill be back. We arrived right at opening unintentionally. Atmosphere is nice, clean and well lit. Staff is very friendly, and food is very unique. I ordered the lolo burger. The first few bites were great! Hot burger, cooked perfectly medium as requested, with crunchy bacon and dripping in their balsamic A1, cheese melting all over. But halfway through I crunched down on a piece of steel wool. Id imagine from cleaning the stove it was left behind. Im not one to make a scene or get bent out of shape so I notified the cook (in an attempt to make sure no one else had this happen). They were very kind and polite and very apologetic. Said theyd get me another burger and Comp it too. But then I got the second burger. Took two bites and it was still raw and cold on the inside, Im assuming because it was made hastily to try and remedy the situation with the first burger. At this point I was lacking an appetite but still notified the waitress and requested the check. She apologized again, but nothing more was done. I was in no way looking for free food, but if in two tries and an hour later you cant get a burger out to the guest cooked sans metal shavings, I feel the entire meal should have been comped. Now I dont expect anyone else to have the experience I had, and I know things happen, and that this was an extremely unusual circumstance, so keep in mind that all the food we had was great. The roasted chicken tacos, WOW were those great! Fresh ingredients, great plating, would recommend those if you go here. The Parmesan tatertots were also delicious and piping hot. Who knows, maybe next time Im over in Stillwater I may give this place a second chance, but the first chance was blown.

Lolo is hands down, one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. This is saying a lot, because Ive eaten at 5-star restaurants in Washington DC, Kansas City, Chicago, etc. The food Lolo is creating is unique, fresh & flavorful, but also presented nicely. Thought has been put into every detail. The drinks are second to none, even your water comes in a unique bottle, and the root beer is handmade in house. So far, Ive tried their burger and fries which were both outstanding, the pork belly tacos which I was unable to finish because portion sizes are huge! They were accompanied by house made chips which arent your typical chip. Theyre really, incredibly thin and crispy, so good! I also made a meal of small plates on another visit, and tried the langoustine, the salmon taster, and the duck dumplings. All were outstanding. Im extremely impressed with this restaurant. There is always a line, nearly always a wait, but its for good reason. We usually stop in between shops to check the wait and kill time shopping until we can be seated or sit at the bar with a drink. There are so many good ones to choose from and the bartenders are friendly and entertaining. Lolo makes trying new things easy, and every time I leave, I plan my next meal, never trying the same thing twice. They also make it very hard to eat anywhere else in Stillwater. Really wishing I could go eat there again tomorrow!

The atmosphere was decent and the restaurant seemed hopping, as it was packed on a Wednesday at 9pm. The music was almost too loud for conversation, but it was still had a nice, late night dinner vibe. I ended up ordering the salmon burger, and was excited to try LoLos take on it. When it arrived, I was pretty offput by the tan color of the patty (not very pink or red like the salmon we are used to seeing). I took a bite and was hit with an extremely fishy, salty taste. The burger had very little dressing, and a bit of veg, but aside from that was pretty bland. If you cook salmon incorrectly, you end up with a fishy taste that is hard to cover up, and that is what this was. The only salmon burger Ive had to compare it to was the one that used be offered at Duluth Grill, which was amazing. I guess my expectations were too high for my own good. I wasnt able to finish the burger, and had only a few bites it was so bad. The server looked at it, noting I had barely touched it, and asked if I needed a box. I said no, and I knew she knew it was because I didnt enjoy it. She didnt ask me about it, but just promptly took it away. Aside from that, the beer selection was alright, the salad was good, and the burger my partner ordered was enjoyable. I would go back, but I would warn anyone and everyone to NOT get the salmon burger!

I walked to grab a NAKED drink and there was a sign that said to go to the bar to pay for it. A lady came up to me so I let her know I wanted to purchase the drink and be seated to order food. She quickly told me that I needed to go to the bar. I went to the bar and an old, grumpy man looked at me holding the naked bottle and said "theres a cashier in the front now, you can pay it there"... he didnt even asked if I needed help. So, by that time I didnt want to order food anymore. I felt judged and discouraged. I went to the cashier and let him know if it would be okay to do my transaction upfront but he quickly said "no, I just got here and needed to count my register.. you can pay at the bar"... I felt frustrated so I proceeded again to the bar and the guy was taking awhile to ring me up. I understand hospitality and service due to my background but this experience with the staff was horrible, not courteous, rude, and they could atleast fake a smile. Truly sad that they represent an "American Kitchen."

Wow! The only criticism i can afford them is, find a larger space so you guys can maximize your future financial potential.... LoLos has achieved the pinnacle of restaurant success, "EVERYTHING" is outstanding, atmosphere, price, staff, drinks, and of course all the food! Special note worth the mention: *Youll find no salt and pepper shakers on the tables, this should tell you all you need to know. *they pride themselves on having no microwave or freezer. You cant just say the food was wonderful, this is an eating experience, this is a great night out, because the array of options and ensembles are truly all wonderful. And if you cant choose please allow the staff to recommend something, they are very accommodating, especially with the exotic adult beverages. Best dining adventure night out experience for us in over a decade, bar none!

Exquisite food! Waitress was awesome. Hostess not very friendly, maybe she was just stressed? Cant say enough about the food though. We got the ahi poke to start- fresh, flavorful, delicious. Scallops were next- tender and sumptuous. I got the dry aged ribeye- it was a perfect medium rare and I could definitely taste the flavor from the extra aging process. My husband got the Lolo Burger which he said was also very good. We got the avocado key lime pie for dessert. Which was very tasty and perfectly portioned. We got a few drinks such as the Peacock and Coffee & Cigarettes, but the best one was hands down the Cobra Verde. It had a great spicy heat and very fresh flavor. Overall it was obvious that the cooking staff, the waitresses and the bartenders knew what they were doing and had a passion for it. We would recommend for any date night.
