The host could barely bring himself to greet us when we walked in the door. Our waitress was lukewarm at best, almost as if it pained her to pretend to be friendly. There was almost nobody there and yet everything took forever to get. Our 3 year old was so excited to try the fancy kids smoothie and yet it arrived in a small paper cup with a lid because the waitress thought he was "too young" for the fun advertised cup with whip cream and a cherry. She couldnt hide her annoyance when we asked for the real thing. Our meals were lukewarm when they arrived. The fries had obviously been sitting for a very long time. My gyro was disgusting and my husbands burger that was supposed to have a little pink in the middle was absolutely charred, the bottom was actually burnt as was the bacon on it. When we expressed our displeasure the managed took our plates from us and took only our meals off the bill since our 3 year old didnt mind having a couple bites of his boxed mac and cheese. So we still had to pay for that and the sodas. We paid $15 for complete crap food and horrid service and no attempt was made to get us back. I will never eat there again and will be sure to tell everyone I know not to. Hands down the worst restaurant Ive ever been to.

Here is the deal. We walked in and the greeter was a little slow because she did not know that they were affiliated with the GM in Minnesota! So that was strike one. The same greeter then said they had no booths- I saw three booths open and told the buy that seated us that we wanted a booth so he went back to double check and we were again told NO. Never tell a guest NO!!! That was strike 2. Then the dude that seated us, had no idea that the gift card I had could be used because it was issued from "not this GM". That was a foul tip because he was young and probably couldnt spell "Gift Card" much less know anything about them. After all that I had a low expectation of service. But then GM went from a C game to an A game with Cinnamon and Lacy- the manager. Cinnamon, was super friendly and kind-hearted- she invited us over for Xmas dinner. Lacy came over to check on us and we voiced our issues with the r-tard greeter and she apologized and then bought us a delicious dessert. Beer was good and cold; had the Il-Primo pizza with the Old World crust which was fantastic. Good Job Lacy and Cinnamon!!! YOU TWO ROCK IT!!!!

This review is regarding the Hudson, WI Green Mill location only. I have been to several others without incident, so I know it is not indicative of the chain. I went three years ago and due to a poor experience had waited to tonight until going back. Im sorry to say not much has changed. This time my wife and I ordered take out, so I couldnt complain when I opened the box at home and found out the state of things. I had ordered the parmesan walleye sandwich and my wife had the buffalo chicken wrap, both with waffle fries. First off, I had regular fries and they were burnt to a crisp. So much so you could hardly choke a few down. My wife had the correct fries, but they were underdone. If there was supposed to be buffalo sauce on her wrap we couldnt find any, and it was soggy to boot. My walleye was the only thing close to decent, and Im sorry to say they have downgraded the size significantly from the last time I ordered it. It was also burnt to blackness around the edges. Hudson has a fabulous selection of restaurants and eaterys, so pick one other than the Green Mill.

Terrible experience! Had to wait almost an hour for our food which was only a salad and fettuccini alfredo (no meat). The food was cold. We took a few bites and notified the waitress (whos service was not great either) who said they could remake it. I dont know about you, but I never ever send food back. The manager offered us free dessert (really?!? We are paying $22 for our food we didnt eat and you think we want a dessert?). She was very rude and refused to comp the meals. She didnt take responsibility for the poor service and food and instead insinuated we were lying about the time it took and started making excuses. I think her name was Brenna. We eat at Green Mill at least monthly in the cities and have never had a problem! My work was planning on having our Holiday Party here next month however now we will definitely go elsewhere.

Ive never posted an online review before but I found this quite incredible. I ordered a pizza online with four toppings on the first half plus extra cheese on the whole pizza. In the special notes for the order I requested that the half toppings be placed across the entire pizza. The manager called me for clarification. Cinnamon, as she introduced herself, informed me that her computer would not allow her to put a half order of a topping across the whole pizza. She agreed that she could spread a half order over an entire pie but insisted that she needed to charge me for a whole order of each ingredient. I could not convince her that she could sell me a half order and put it on the whole pizza. Needless to say I was forced to cancel my order.

Extremely disappointed with our dining experience at this location. No one greeted us at the door. The bartender, Darren left our drinks empty several times, including water. He seemed more interested in serving the already intoxicated group of men across the bar. We had to ask about happy hour. A server walking by overheard me ask, so she answered me. When we finally got our bill, around 11pm, everything was charged at full price, not the expected happy hour price that began at 9pm. Very unfortunate that we had such bad service considering just a few days prior we had excellent service at a different location. The only positive I can say is our flatbread pizzas were tasty!

We ate at tables wrather than the bar and and the waitstaff was extremely nice. At first I was wary as the outside is not as appealing but the food was amazing and I would gladly comeback. The waitress had come back repeatedly to fill our drinks and although the pizza guy accidentally made the wrong kind they told us immediately and corrected their mistake. They also removed the price of the pizza altogether to commend their mistake. Overall service was very good.

The service was bad, I was told that they had ran out of bread due to it all being burnt , my husband ordered a burger and the bun was soggy and the burger was way under done. I ordered the Greek gyro and the PETA was so had my knife could hardly cut into it the meat tasted old and wayyyyyyyy to many sun dried tomatoes and at first she didnt put any sauce on it. Just a lot of little stupid things that lead up to a bad night!

So I call in to get a delivery. I order my food and ask the lady if I can add jalapenos to one of my food items.. She said "no you can not". I laugh, I thought she was kidding. She was not kidding. So I asked.. "ok, well if you can not add jalapenos to my food, may I get a side of jalapenos?" She says, "we cant do that." Hmmm.. Whoever is running the place should probably look into that one. Food is good, but not worth the money.
