This is our favorite place for wine, beer, hor doeuvres and community. Colleen is the owner, server, and chef. She fosters a classy, fun and welcoming atmosphere for anyone looking for a nice beer after work, a romantic night of drinks with their partner, a community atmosphere to enjoy with a group of friends, and anything in between. Her selection and knowledge of wine makes it easy for the most serious of wine connoisseurs as well as novices (like me!) to enjoy a bottle. You can simply tell her what you like, how much you want to spend and she will not lead you astray. If you want a drink or two then stop by Solera the next time you are in Grinnell, you will be welcomed as a regular.

Awesome cozy and private place to meet locales for a great glass of, beers,wine among other things! Appetizers are very tastey and Service is excellent, Colleen is a great hostess and best off all she gets to know everyone perennially l I would highly recommend his place,you wont be disappointed!!

A gem! The wine choices are lovely. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Place was full of friendly regulars who welcomed us. We were in town for 2 days and went to Solera both nights. Loved it.
