My husband and I stopped by Friday evening I ordered the broasted chicken meal . When it arrived along with French fries and garlic toast I commented to my husband wow this is dripping with grease.I even took all the napkins on our table and tried pressing some of the grease out.The French fries were floppy and one looked liked it had dry rot. I couldnt finish it . My husband informed cashier but she didnt seem interested. When I got home I told my husband Im not feeling well. I became violently ill .Stomach cramps all night vomiting I ended up in emerg room Iv given . Diagnosis food poisoning. My husband went back to restaurant left a note for manager .Manager called didnt care .Stated he has a 4 star restaurant.Very condescending .And I couldnt have possibly got food poisoning from his restaurant . Everyone knows food poisoning doesnt occur until 24 to 48 hours later. I didnt eat at any other restaurant prior . Just saying.

My grandma ordered a chicken dinner here last week and ended up with food poisoning. She violently vomitted 12 times until she got it out of her system. She complained that the chicken was dripping with grease as well as the rest of the food on her plate and right away realized it wasnt sitting well with her. Normally I wouldnt write a review on someone elses behalf, but I was so upset to hear that she made a phone call to the manager only to have him condescendingly tell her there is nothing wrong with how they prepare their food. No apology. No free meal. Nothing. Ive worked in customer service long enough to know even if its not the fault of the business, you take responsibility for it if a customer is upset; you dont whip out defense mechanisms.

The waitress I had must be related to the owner. I have bee here several times over the last 9 years and I cringe whenever she is our waitress. She is slower than my grandfather in the old folks home. The good news is I get a free meal every time because she really is that bad. I also witnessed this woman stealing money from the cash register. If the owner is that stupid to let this employee steal and provide poor service it wont be in business for long. I am going to take my business to the new wildwood scoops. A root beer float will taste just as sweet without the poor service and dishonest employees.

Horrible service and horrible management. We stopped in for breakfast/lunch. The waitress forgot to put in my daughters order. By the time we realized it they had switched to lunch. My daughter ordered a wrap. 4 tables (25 minutes) got served food before my daughters. Waitress forgot 2 bowls of soup that she also forgot to take off menu. When we asked to speak to a manager they said there wasnt one working....not surprising considering what we saw. Wont be going back.

We love this spot. Broasted Chicken, homemade root beer, the turkey melt, the taco salad - so many options! We enjoy eating here any time of year. If you love classic diners, you need to stop here. They have the bench seating, great desserts, frosted mugs - everything you need for a great Sunday lunch. Its family owned and operated, staffed by locals and has delicious food!

Good food for a good price. The only downside is that for some reason on warm summer days they can get extremely busy and the staff can get a little overwhelmed. Theyre always friendly and helpful but youre table wont get the same attention on those days. The ice cream, root beer, and onion rings are amazing.

Broasted chicken so hot you have to blow on it to eat it. Its so good too. They use their own, unique, very light breading. And their homemade rootbeer is like nectar. Comfort food heaven. Their new expanded menu makes me want to try it all too ! Cant wait to go back - theyre great !!

Homemade root beer is a must! Also their fries with the special seasoning, coleslaw, and chicken are my favorites and has not changed since I was a child. This place has wonderful history. Prices have jumped up over the years so we dont go there as often.

Stopped and ordered breakfast this morning. The hashbrowns are raw only cooked on one side. I called and the lady said thats how they cook them. If you like raw hashbrowns then that is fine. But who eats raw hashbrowns???? $9.00 for a crappy breakfast.

Every once in a while I need good broasted chicken like I need air. This is my go to spot. Great carrot cake gives them extra bonus points with me. Sweet retro vibe decor. 4 Seasons gets our whole family super happy.

Great diner atmosphere! The food options are good and the breakfast portions were large. Healthy choices could also be found on the menu. The owner was quite friendly and chatted for a while.

If you have not tried their fish I would suggest you go have some fish and chips. They might be lacking a little in atmosphere but this is a great place to go in the summer.

Yeah, I like the place a lot. A small, independent family restaurant... with good food and a nice atmosphere. Try the carrot cake. Definitely order the onion rings.

The food was good. Just good old American Cooking at reasonable prices. I think our waitress might have been having less than a good day though.
