Alright... so most of all my reviews are never based off of service... and is ALWAYS based off of the food. Because its yelp! Yelp is all about the food... however I am writing this review because of the bad to nesr horrible discriminating service I received that actually barred me from getting adequate food... and I was hungry. Anywho, so my mother and I are sitting at the bar. And we were able to order drinks right off the bat. My mother asked about happy hour and the bartender informed us of what was on the happy hour menu. We were serviced pretty quickly, and the mimosa was pretty good. My mother had ordered a 7 n 7. And I cannot speak for how she liked it. Then we attempted to order food... once....twice....three times and then a fourth time.. and nothing. My mothers colleague had joined us and she was serviced rather quickly for her drink order. My mothers collague had even asked the bartender if we could order our food. Our bartender replied that he was "too busy to take our order." When he had been taking everyone elses order around us. As some one who has worked in tbe industry.... this is very bad.. to exceptionally poor. I will never come here again. I have no idea why everyone around us was serviced and we werent, maybe it was discrimination... maybe... Chaz G was one of my bartenders, the other one was a man with glasses and red hair

What happened here? This place used to be a solid go-to. Its been a couple of years since we went and we were dismayed by what we found tonight. We went at 7:30pm on a Friday night, fully expecting to have to wait for a table, and we were fine with that. But when we got to the parking lot, it was half empty. Warning sign number one. We walked in and it was half empty. We assumed we would be given a table in the dining area but instead the hostess offered a high-top in the bar, which we declined, so apparently, without asking she decided wed like a booth in the bar. She asked us to wait, even though half the dining area was empty, for her to clean off a booth in the bar. This took her at least 5 minutes. When she managed to get that done and seat us, the table was still wet with stinky water. I wiped it down with the one napkin that was provided for what was clearly a party of two. For whatever reason we were still willing to give it a shot because we had so many good times there over the years. But when my wifes menu stuck to the table, and my menu had pages inside stuck together from filth, we got up and walked away. We are so disappointed. This used to be a nice place, but I will not go back unless they have a very publicly announced change of management before I give them another chance. Seriously, a job very poorly done, Mr. or Ms. Manager.

Pretty terrible fathers day experience. Tried to order prime rib (was on their chalkboard at the entrance trying to push it), decided to splurge for fathers day. 15 min later they notify me that thy dont have any prime rib - wont until after 4pm. This is about noon, so they shouldnt have had a run out yet. So I order chicken. Then Im notified that they are out of chicken. Eventually end up with a burger and green beans. I asked for medium and got something 10 levels beyond well done. Green beans were like mush, like leftovers. Daughters tacos were so overcooked that it was like trying to chew rubber balls and there was a lot of gristle. Daughter-in-laws and wifes eggs benedict was seriously overcooked with solid yokes. It took an hour to get our food, and my little boys pizza was done in about 15 min and spent the whole time while we waited for our food under the warming lamp. Our server was very frustrated and apologetic but when I complained about the quality of the food the response was that at least I got food and should be happy with that. FWIW, the place was only about half full. Evidently word had gotten around to everyone but us that this place sucks. Even the mimosa bar was poorly stocked and most of the time there was out of orange juice even with multiple requests to replenish it.

The atmosphere and staff were fine. The woodfire pizza was very good, I would give that 4 stars. The rest of the food we ordered was bad. The salad we asked for "on the side" with the pizza ended up costing $8 and consisted of lettuce chopped in very small pieces and hard croutons, all of which were difficult to pick up with the fork. Cesar dressing was not very flavorful. The worst part of the meal was the Main Lobster Tails, $36, ordered from the New Years menu. The menu clearly says "Tails" both in the name of the dish, and in the dish description, for $36. When the entree came it only had one tail. The lobster was the worst I have ever had. It was rubbery, extremely salty and had no lobster flavor at all. The side dishes were better, but still not good, mashed potatoes tasted like cafeteria food, green beans had a funny aftertaste. In addition, according to the menu, I could have had a single lobster tail added to another dish for only $18, so why was this entree $36 for only one tail (not that I would have wanted to eat another, the one I had was so bad)? $18 for two sides? Extremely bad and a waste of $36.

Hadnt dined there in a year, but had previously had good experiences. Last night was different. We were seated within 3 minutes, but it took 9 minutes before we were even acknowledged at our table. While we were waiting for a server to approach, we realized how cold it was still in the restaurant. It was 10 degrees outside and not much warmer inside. Everyone, including the servers, were wearing their jackets or something to keep them warm. The waitress explained that the buildings furnace hadnt been working all day. We dined in our winter jackets. The reason they get 2 stars from me is because my wife and children enjoyed the pizza. The Bonfire fettucini I had was sub-par. I would not recommend that meal. I wish I wouldve read some of the recent reviews before choosing to dine there. It appears the management staff has some work to do.

Six of us for Sunday dinner. It is the second time that we have tried this restaurant in the past year. The first time was okay. There were 6 of us and we each tried something a little different. Staff met us and were wonderful. Bull bites- great Tortilla chips and queso- chips ok. Cheese was watery, tasteless and too small a serving. We did not finish it. Bonfire chopped salads- too bland with too much dressing. At least the chicken was good. Surf and turf- Excellent Filet mignon- Excellent Jambalaya- Okay. Sloppy mix of ingredients. Didnt finish as it didnt taste very good. Fish taco - Disgusting and not edible. Again, the service and staff were great. We left wondering how you can make perfect steaks and screw up a salad and fish taco. We will try another place next time.
