DO NOT GO TO THIS PERKINS! Ive been coming to this particular Perkins since I was a kid and I have never had good service! If you can find another Perkins nearby, go to that one instead. My recent visit was the worst of them all. Tables were dirty, the entry way was flooded, servers, terrible as always. Food isnt bad, when its warm! No paper towels in the bathroom. We waited half and hour for our check alone and the other 2 hours waiting for our food and drinks. When we received our food (Finally!) we didnt have any silverware, so we sat and stared at our food for 5 minutes. After we were served our food, the waitress dropped off the face of the planet and we never saw her for the rest of the time we were there (until we spied her hanging out in the kitchen). We had to go up to the manager at the counter to ask for bill and to-go boxes and she gave us attitude. Not only were we unsatisfied, but other customers around us were also mad. The icing on top of the cake was the server wearing a shirt that said "fast and friendly". Fast and Friendly my butt!

Went in and waited an hour for our food and was fine about the wait was informed before hand. But then when our food came out there was black short curly hair on my shrip and in my pasta. The only male at our table had blonde hair and facial hair blonde and grey. My food was sent back. Waited 45 minutes and then went up to the front and asked for our check and explained my issue. Come to find out that no one had even begun to make my meal. Funny thing is I chose perkins for dinner and waited two hours to be the only one not to eat. Was offered a free pie. I refused and left. My boyfriend came out with the pie because he knew I was hungry. Will never go back there. Im still upset I didnt get to eat the meal I wanted and already had picked out before arriving. My favorite dish and they gone and fudge up. What the french toast!! The server and supervisor was really friendly but still doesnt change the experience we had tonight. This isnt the first time we have received crappy service there either. Food is good but not worth the dang headache.

Its a Perkins... I think a Perkins experience at best is a 3 star event because the food is only marginal and the service is generally only ok. Every once in a while I find myself wanting breakfast for dinner and this is the only place open late that serves breakfast in the area, so here I am.. The bathroom was gross. It hasnt been properly cleaned in a long time. I could tell that they just spot clean some of the surfaces, and there is "stuff" called on the "receptacles" -it was a real appetite killer. Honestly, if your main product isnt gasoline and youre located in a major city your restroom should not be in this condition. The rest of the place had a "kind of clean" feel to it. And the pancakes were leathery. I realize Perkins isnt fine dining, but this was worse than expectations. If you want a great breakfast in Hopkins, go to Hoagies on Main St. Prices are lower, food is MUCH better, and even though its an old place, its clean. The only downside is theyre not open in the evenings.

My favorite breakfast place in the Twin Cities. Ive been going to this location for over 25 years. This location always trains their employees well, and the chefs always provide you with a high quality meal. Im very picky about the doneness of my breakfast items (eggs, hash browns, and toast). Most other places I have to be specific about how I prefer those items prepared. Not this restaurant. I never have to tell them how I like my meal prepared, they just do it right - every single time. The chefs here have always been trained very well; and I feel thats a rarity these days. I moved out of state so I rarely have the opportunity to eat there anymore, but when I do I always try to remember to tip the chefs! (forgot last time. Sorry!) The wait and host staff are always friendly and punctual, even during large rushes. Parking is ample, and the restaurant is in a convenient location, and easy to see from the road.

Service was terrible! I was with 2 kids I babysit for. I got there at 5pm on Monday night (11/ 7,) was seated & greeted promptly, we placed our order right away. 2 kid french toast, & an order or pancakes for myself. It took til 5: 25 to get our beverages!!! The server kept walking by, she said her manager would be out w//ur beverages, 10 min later..till nothing! I approached the manager, and she was careless about it. We didnt receive our food til 6: 15pm . These times are accurate, because Im a server! The restaurant was steady but not very busy. The people who sat across from us, was seated right after us. They were almost done eating by the time we got our beverages!!!! The only good thing about this visit, is the food was good!! Im understanding, because I work in this industry, but this is unacceptable!!!

Ive always liked perkins its where my family love to go no matter what but the location by hopkins crossroads is a different story it seems like everytime ive gone to the location my experience gets worse and worse to a point where ive made the decision to never come back to this location anymore. The waitress Jenna is horrible! Ive always had warm welcoming waitresses and waiters this one was totally opposite! I observed her with other customers to see if it was just me she was like that towards to but no. My children got pancakes and they came out extremely cold! Lucky my kids were very hungry that they didnt want to send it back. Oh and i left out the fact that the tab came out the same time as the food.. WHO DOES THAT!!!!

Slow service due to quality of server or lacking in enough servers for volume of customers, food is always room temp, and saw that management was sitting in office and had time to go smoke a cigarette while the only server on had too many customers to give good service with a good service time.....we waited 25 mins for drinks, ordered right way when we ordered our drinks, food took another 40 mins, food was room temp/burger burnt/long hair in pancakes, didnt get a beverage refill until food was almost gone and cups had been empty for about 30 mins....the server was really nice but had way too many customers to do his job well.....

At first the service was OK....after we got our food we waited 30+ minutes after we had clearly finished our food and beverages before the waiter bothered to ask how we were ...even then, I had to flag him down ...The food was actually great surprisingly ...it seems they need more wait staff or better equip the ones they have.....Im very disappointed .. .but this is why long loved chains go under today. ...there is better service elsewhere. With better atmosphere.....

This was without a doubt the worst meal any of us have had in a long time. There were 6 of us meeting for a Saturday breakfast. The food was tasteless, the coffee was terrible, as was the service. There was a time when Perkins was great, especially for breakfast. But now everything tastes like it comes from a mix or a freezer bag. This particular one also had a funky odor throughout the restaurant. I suggest you skip this experience.
