I went there yesterday evening. I ordered a gordita and my bf ordered nachos.Im bilingual as I took Spanish in college. I asked the woman at the counter no jalapeños or radishes. Yet after waiting for 20 minutes for just us. There radishes in my gordita and jalapeños on top of his nachos. The containers had cheese and mayonnaise all over it. In addition to a security guard arguing with a prostitute to get out of the restaurant as everyone looked embarrassed for her. I cant believe they would even let food go out like that. The Hispanic man was very rude and that is disgusting. I told my bf lets return this food but he such a pushover. As for me we wont be going there again!

I LOVE the food. I grew up in Arizona and miss really good Mexican food. However, the delicious food was tainted by a bad experience today. We ordered burritos and tacos to go and when we got home, the tacos were not there. I called and tried to explain what happened, but the person on the phone didnt understand very much of what I said. I asked if I could talk to someone else and she said no. So basically I am out $8 for the tacos, which is frustrating. I will go back because the food is very good, but would caution others to make sure you get everything you pay for before you leave.

If I had the option to give it no stars I would. Customer service was horrible I kept nicely asking the waitress for salsa and she ignored me three times until the last time I made a huffy sound and she bought me some. The food was okay, not the best. Im from southern California I know great Mexican food this wasnt near it. I didnt even finish my food. Dont recommend this restaurant. Also they served my husbands food first and by the time he finished his food I barely got mine. So much for a sit-down restaurant... also the guacamole sauce was so salty.

This is my favorite burrito spot in the city. Their al pastor is made with a little pineapple and its the best burrito meat Ive found in SMinneapolis, MN F. They dont mess it up anywhere else either; good rice, beans, and salsa, they use avocados rather than the watered down guacamole that you find at many places, and they nail it with the size, ratio, and construction of the burrito itself. It always amazes me when I see people at El Facilitator across the street. This place is way better

I have had authentic Mexican food all of my life being Mexican. It is time that someone called out these so called "Authentic Mexican food" places in Minnesota. This is the most mediocre Mexican food ever. It is way over priced, the quality of food is subpar. Go to Southern California or Mexico itself. Compare those great tasting and low pricing food to the Minnesota so called "Authentic Mexican". Its absolutely embarrassing, and its sad that people do not know great quality food.

Horrible experience, the food is pretty good though. I tried to order over the phone but they kept hanging up on me, I went inside and tried to call again just to find out they wasnt picking up just because they didnt want to, there was no customers and they were too busy talking to take my order, it has happened several times and finally decided Im not taking that behavior anymore.. what a shame.!

There driver for delivery has total disregard for work that takes place any where when driving. He might not even have a steering wheel in his vehicle. He did not apologize for running over a $600 pump while we were working in there parking lot. I will not eat here because of the drivers incompetence behind the wheel. This was in there parking lot, he is out there driving around, scary.

Great variety, authentic, affordable, clean, free parking, friendly staff, centric, all of this makes Taqueria Los Ocampo in the corner of Chicago and Lake my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Twin Cities. Don;t let the name fool you, Tacos is only one of the 15 plus types of food you can enjoy here. PS. I am not a paid sponsor, just a very happy customer.

Love the food here! I am a big fan and recommend...my only concern is the service at pick up area...many times its frustrating as i really like the sauces and when i ask for more than one i get either ignored or reluctance. Being from retail mgmt this is not the way you want your guest leaving after an order. Please address this!!! I love the establishment.

Best Mexican food in the Twin Cities. I read reviews complaining about the service...but this is an authentic Taqueria. Might not be the place to go if youre wanting American service and a full bar. However, if you want real Mexican style tacos, I havent found anything better than this since moving to MN from CA.

I dont care about any other reviews here, as a resident californian this is the most authentic taste of home Ive had here. Great quality food and staff I come here all the time I need mexican food. Ignore those who have no idea what to base real mexican food off of. This is the real deal.

Each time I have been to the location on Lake st & Chicago I ordered 4 large meals. When I asked for sauce, the woman would give me one. I pointed to 3 giants bags of food and she would give me a dirty look and give me 2 more suaces. Extremely rude and not worth it. I will never go back.
