I like Amos and Amos and live close. When Im in need of a BBQ fix and dont want to drive very far, Ill call Amos and Amos. Good stuff. Call well, well ahead for any order. Its the incredibly slow service that keeps our family from eating there more often. No price, very good for what you get. Not taste. I havent had a bad meal. But when we are hungry at 6:45, and we know we wont be eating until after 8PM on a Saturday night, on take out, we generally go elsewhere. Been burned by the waiting game one too many times.

Very delicious. The southern crispy chicken sandwich is just that. Nothing totally special about it. I was hoping for a little more seasoning. The bbq pulled pork sandwich was really good. My husband said it was missing smoke flavor but with my headaches I avoid the smoke. Definitely would get that again. The rib tips were very good. Next time Im going for the ribs and calling ahead. Good food takes time. The guy working was really nice. Good bbq and close to home. Ill be back for sure.

Just stumbled across Amos and Amos BBQ driving by over on 40th in Columbia Hts, I got the St Louis Ribs . Absolutely the best meatiest ribs I have had. Con had the rib tips and she loved them too,, I will be going back to try out the deep fried chicken next time, I hope they are as good. Fantastic take out place and next time I will call in my order first. However this half slab rib wait was definitely worth it!

This BBQ spot is tucked away in this small little community it needs to shine more, because it its truly a start. The customer service is the best I have seen in a very long time. The food was amazing Im still licking my fingers. The rib tips; lots of meat not fatty and the hot link is just how I remember it from back home in the delta. 5 stars I definitely will be back.

Were always jumping around to different places because thats one of the nice things about living in the Twin Cities. Amos and Amos does a great job on their BBQ.....plus being from southern roots Im gonna tell ya right here that their catfish is totally smoking!!! When we go there the wife wants BBQ and all I can think is catfish - LOL!!!

Says they open at 11 Will take your money and make you wait as they re heat leftovers. Very slow did not seem like its been cleaned In a long while terrible Cole slaw no condiments. So if you like day old foods in bbq and have an hour to kill and like they charge premo rates but not for me never again.

I had my doubts. This is in an old driven in but darn if it wasnt one of the best rack of ribs Ive ever had in or outside of Minnesota. Tasty sauce and the meat was so tender. They even butter the bread correctly. You should go here, but its take out, no dinning room. I plan on going back

Maybe Im jaded having lived in KC for a stint but this BBQ is nothing special in my book, and niether was the cole slaw. Got the atmosphere of a great place just needs better meat. I had the pulled pork, probably wont go back to try something else.

Pulled pork sandwich and rib tip lunches. Fantastic hole in the wall, its what you want if you like these sort of places. Great prices & portions with quick service. Plan to eat in your car during the winter, no dining inside

Had the pulled pork, the meat was obviously not fresh and was just reheated and cooked who knows how long ago. Too bad as the sauce is good. The sides were weak also. Firebox is a much better choice in that area.

Pretty good bbq and really great people ! Good sauce ~ ask for extra! Obligatory but good coleslaw which I often dont care for. This, I like. Their pulled pork is actually chunked pork ~ still nummy!
