We had a short wait when we arrived with a party of 6 at about 6:30pm. About 15 minutes which was nice. My husband ordered a tall Coors Light while we were waiting and the color seemed off. I thought it was a Michelob Golden Light. Very pale in color. Once we were seated, I asked the waitress where the advertised steak and lobster for $15.99 was located. She pointed to an option for a 6oz sirloin and lobster tail for $16.99. She showed me where it was written in super small print that prices and participating locations may vary. Not a big deal. It was only $1 more. 3 of us ordered the special. We all got the salad as our side dish. It took about 15 minutes to get the salads which is too long to wait if you asked me. The big problem was the temperature of the sirloin. The lobster tail was delicious. Small but very tasty. My dad ordered his at medium and got it at medium well, my husband ordered his at medium rare and got it well done and I ordered mine at medium rare and half of my steak was medium and the other half was medium well. We told the waitress about it and the manager came to our table. My dad decided his was close enough to eat but myself and my hubby asked to have ours redone. We waited and waited and waited. After 30 minutes and everyone else at our table was finished eating, I got the waitresses attention and told her that we didnt want to wait anymore and to please remove the price of the steaks off the bill and bring it to us so we could leave. She said she would let the manager know. After another 10 minutes, the manager appeared at our table with the steaks. We explained that we asked the waitress to remove them from our bill since everyone else was done and ready to leave. She did apologize and took both of our meals off the bill even though we offered to pay for the lobster. The other thing was when my dad was eating his steak, he used Heinz 57 sauce. It came out of the bottle really thin ( like the constancy of A1) and he said it was spicier than normal. I like Heinz 57 so I decided to taste it to see for myself. It was really watered down and they added cayenne you try and disguise the taste. I also said something to the manager about this as well. She acted confused but it was obvious the sauce was altered. She did remove our meals from the bill. With all this happening, Im even wondering if they were watering down the beer too. Very disappointed with the experience.

Been to this place a total of about 4 times in the past 5 years. The first three were decent... nothing to really complain about . We were there last Saturday (which happened to be Valentines Day.) They sat us at a really tiny table (which is fine) but it was super wobbly, we personally put a stack of 5 coasters under the leg just to keep it from shaking every time we moved. I noticed other tables had the same thing going on. A few other turn offs.. We asked our server for more butter for the bread and she forgot. Then when she brought another loaf (upon our request because we were starving) she forgot ONCE again for extra butter. My husband asked for more butter with his potato and again, she forgot. We also had to ask for silverware (we heard the couple next to us complain and make jokes about the same things we were annoyed by.) Another turn off... the music. It couldnt be any more inappropriate. Not only was it not the kind of music adults would like to hear while having a nice quiet dinner, the fact that it was Valentines Day did not set the mood much (some kind of party pop mix.) Im not sure what the staff was doing in the back, but we kept feeling a burst of cold air every few minutes.. that went on for the last 20 minutes of our meal (had to put my winter coat on.) When we finally left we saw some employees carrying dining tables outside, not sure what was up with that but i think it had something to do with the cold bursts of air throughout the dining room (it was zero degrees out the night we were there.) Our server was nice but not on top of her game. Overall the whole restaurant was a mess. There was food and other debris all over the floor, the bathroom garbage had paper towels overflowing and they were all over the floor. It was very unkempt. In the past we typically had a manager walk by and ask us how things were, that never happened on our last visit. I feel this place has gone WAY downhill. For what they charge you could easily go down a little further to Red Lobster and get a MUCH better (and bigger) meal with more variety and better service for the same price.

We had reservations, ended up waiting 45 minutes for the table. Additionally, not everyones food came out at anywhere near the same time. For example, They forgot to bring out, or maybe even put in, the food for the person in our group that is Celiac that specially ordered off the Gluten-Free menu, and that took another 20 minutes for her to get her food. Also, one of the steaks that was ordered Medium came out Well done, and that took about 15 minutes before we could get one of our two servers to come back to our table (they hadnt even checked on how the food was before this!). The servers didnt pre-bus the tables after each course... instead, we ended up having to pile the dishes up at each end of the tables (one stack was up to about our neck/shoulders), and they didnt take any of them till after we were done with the main course and right before desert! Then, after we were done with our food, one of the servers dropped off the bill, without splitting it, then got huffy when we asked her to split it. Overall, a dinning experience that should have been an hour and 1/2... maybe 2... ended up being 4 hours long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a good thing that we had lots of great conversation with our friends. To say the least, it was really hard leaving a 5% tip, especially since we normally tip between 20-25%.

After eating here today I have a question I need answered: In Australia do they put pepper on everything? I mean, pepper on the steak, pepper in the salad, pepper in the broccoli and cheese. Makes you wonder if they do that to overpower food that is overwhelmingly bland and uninspiring. I ordered steak and shrimp, and the shrimp and potatoes were good, but the steak? Its not supposed to take five minutes to chew a medium rare steak! Then theres that pepper. Absolutely dreadful. The service wasnt terrible, but the environment seemed a little too lax, as the servers were chatting more with a former coworker and her date about how their service was more than they asked how mine was. It wasnt busy, but this isnt Cheers. To top off this grand experience, the place smelled like the floors hadnt been cleaned for a while, which made me lose my appetite. If Steve Irwin was told he could rise from the dead by eating one Outback meal, hed quickly pass. So bad on so many levels
