Satisfaction guaranteed. My husband and one year old have visited the new south Minneapolis burger establishment 3 times and twice for take out. Never has failed us once. Burgers are delicious while also comes a very appealing price. Even the take out is spectacular after a short car ride to our home. My Dad recently visited and we did Patty Wagon for take out. Quote "Easily in my top 5 burgers of all time", says my Dad. He asked for medium on his Speed Limit Breaker burger, and medium is what he got! Not only perfectly cooked, but a well constructed flavorful burger. We also got the wings, which were excellent. The buns used with the burger are fantastic as well. Not sure if they are locally sourced buns, but the burger to bun ratio is spot on. Service is quick, friendly, and you feel at home. Try the Patty Wagon today - it is the secret gem in South Minneapolis.

Went around 5pm on a Sunday. A group of 3 adults and 4 kids. We went because all day Sunday kids eat free with an adult purchase. The restaurant was mostly empty, so we were quickly seated. It slowly started to fill up by 530. Service is quick and courteous. No one went longer than a minute on an empty drink. Food was fresh. Fries were house cut and homemade. They reminded me of Annies Parlour or Five Guys. The Cheddar Bacon burger was thick and juicy. It was stuffed with Cheddar and bacon, topped with caramelized onions. A nice butter toasted bun. It does share a parking lot with Tailgate, which most of the parking is filled with cars going for that establishment. Would recommend for a good burger and to bring families. The only downside could possibly be is parking. But you can park at the abandoned tire shop next door.

Its true when they say dont judge a book by its cover. I went there yesterday to simply ease my craving for a burger, and I was a bit iffie at first due to how empty the restaurant was. It gave an older feel, which was nice. I ordered the cheddar and bacon stuffed burger. The waiter was nice, he was quite attentive and when another family came in we all had a casual little conversation. The burger was very hearty sized, and it really did take like a freshly made burger! The bacon inside looked and tasted like the real deal, not the cheap stuff Mc Donalds or Sonic have on theirs. I would go back, and honestly I sit here at 6am craving it again...

Wow, this joint really was outstanding. My burger was phenomenal. It was the best jucy lucy I ever had. The bid difference was that they char-broil the burgers here kinda like BK. If you think you like BK, youll love it here. Also, the fries rocked. Its not very often you can get fresh-cut fries. They are so much better than frozen. The bun was, in addition, fantastic. It was frsh, and it was toasted to perfection. And, to top it all off, they were playing CR from the 70s to listen to. Cant wait to come back. To hell with Matts, 58 Club, and even the Nook. Im comin here.

I ate there this weekend because it was close and I want all that optimistic (probably because the place used to be Cintias, which wasnt great). However, we really enjoyed this restaurant. I had a buffalo chicken salad and it was really fresh, like the had just cut all the veggies and the chicken was really nice, just grilled. My husband had a wonderful burger, it had bacon and a spicy sauce and an onion ring and it was delish. The fries are really good too. The service was very good. We will definitely be back, thanks for the great meal! Kids eat free on Sundays too!

Utter fail. Specialty burgers, some stuffed. Also sandwiches and salads. My husband picked up to-go after work. He got a stuffed burger he said was ok, but it was a weird combo, stuffed with peanut butter and topped with bananas and bacon. We shared chicken fingers which were good, but basic frozen fare. My $10 chicken ceaser salad was less than a cup of lettuce, literally 3 curls of Parmesan and had no chicken at all. Dressing was mostly mayonnaise. It was shockingly pathetic. We wont be returning.

Ive eaten here around 4-5 times in the past year and always enjoyed the food. Elsworth cheese curds, decent selection of burgers, but they also have chicken sandwiches and other food for those strange people that go to a burger place and dont want a burger. The Four Alarm was spicier than the Hellion, and the Porky Wagon is my favorite menu item to date. Each time Ive been here I was surprised at the lack of people inside. Service was average, food was delicious.

Solid burger joint. Had the Patty wagon burger which was quite good. Subbed the sweet potato tots which was a great call. Group of 4 of us went and we all were happy with our order. Food was served timely, and cooked properly. Staff was good. Beer selection was good for the small number of taps they have. Definitely worth putting on your list. Grab a burger and then run over to Wild Minds brewing for an after dinner drink, or vice versa. I will go back.

There were 3 tables in the place so it easnt busy. Yet it took an hour to get our food and then the burger was raw, not pink but raw. The server was brand new and bad mouthing the other employees. The worst part was when the manager came to apologize and took no accountability for the situation, he simply blamed the cook. This place needs training all the way around.

They have a burger stuffed with peanut butter and topped with banana, bacon and cheese. That SHOULDNT be good....but its the best frickin burger Ive ever had. Sweet potato tots are the bomb, their malts are delicious, and regular and waffle fries are crispy and perfect. Plus the service and prices are outstanding. We love eating here!

Seems like a pretty good burger joint. Not in the typical franchise model. My business partner and I were both pretty pleased with our food. He got more tatter-tots than he could handle and tried to pawn some off on me. I dont do tots. If you go, a must is to check out the wall-paper by the bathrooms. Just trust me on that.

Tried to place an order at 930 after viewing the website and realizing it said they closed at 10. My boyfriend called first and told me the guy on the phone told him that they closed early. I called a few minutes later and tried to speak with the guy after him telling me they were closed but he hung up on me mid sentance.

Delicious burger and excellent service! Ive driven past hundreds of times and never stopped because the parking lot was always full. Turns out they have an entire lot on the north side of the building thats theirs as well. Great family environment for a burger, fries, and a malt! Im VERY happy I finally stopped in!

A new South Minneapolis favorite! Happy hour from 4-7 has great deals on appetizers, plus regular menu entrees are priced very reasonably. Everything we had (burger, appetizer, shakes) was delicious, and the service was outstandingly friendly. We will certainly be returning to The Patty Wagon!

Great service! Huge portion size with amazing flavor. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We typically go to the sports bar connected to the Patty Wagon. The decor is modern with interesting wall art. It also has a full bar. Neighborhood gem! Hands down better than the 5-8.
