Demasiado mal servicio.

Horrible, horrible, horrible!! Me and a few family members went to Congas to try something new, We walked in server was nice, the place is completely empty besides us- We went up to the salad bar the dressing was so thick that it wouldnt even come out of the spoon! Ordered our food took about an hour to get, and is was terrible, my brother ordered a seafood platter- when he got it, it had 1 crab leg cut in half a small fillet of halibut and 3 small shrimp. My sister ordered chicken parmigiana and it was burnt and not just a little it had black chunks on it! My brothers girlfriend ordered the tilipia special it came with a fillet of tilipia and instant mashed potatoes and thats it. I ordered steak and scallops and it was drowned in what looked like a jellied gravy the scallops were fishy and the rest had no flavor what-so-ever! There was a fruit fly flying around our table the whole time. It took the server about 30 min. after we were done eating to bring us our check... none of us finished our food, and she never asked how was your food- not once after we received it. Then they took a 12 dollar gratuity for four people and a 52 dollar meal... We will never go there again. It was honestly the worst restaurant that I have ever been to!

Awesome awesome awesome food! I had a hankering for a pina colada so we stopped in for happy hour. 2 for 1 pina coladas! Booya. The ceviche was so refreshing and surprisingly filling, the picture on the menu looks like its a smaller portion but its huge. Super spicy habanero wings, just like we like em. There was a bit of confusion over happy hour, we were given a happy hour food menu, then told when paying the bill that happy hour food wasnt on Sundays (as it says it is on the menu). They fixed the bill for us and we left happy. Our server was awesome, Mikaela I believe, she went above and beyond to make a great experience for us. She suggested a special creamy/fruity drink for my daughter that chef made to order, and it was certainly a treat. I saw the reviews saying "slow service" and Id have to stick up for them. Service itself was not slow, but the food is made to order which takes time and was well worth it, I mean, its not fast food, people! Sit and enjoy yourself! Ill be back for sure, theres so much more on the menu that Im excited to try.

My wife and I both love dancing and Latin music. We arrived at the Conga Latin Bistro and was greeted by Ricardo and his wife. We asked to be seated near the dance floor and there was a family birthday party being held. The other dining room would have been quieter, but we enjoyed the party and the family atmosphere. We ordered drinks and then ordered Valencia Paella. Ricardo said it would take 90 minutes to prepare. We were not in a hurry and got up and danced. Ricardo and his staff checked on us numerous times and let us know when our dinner would be ready. He even came out with complimentary salads for us that were very good. When the food arrived, the presentation was fantastic and was worth the wait. I have had Paella in various Countries and I make it myself. The blend of shrimp, fish, chicken, sausage, mussels, clams, calamari and vegetables was perfect. If your in a hurry dont go, but if you love great food and friendly warm service, I highly recommend it. The price was very reasonable and well worth it.

I am in the industry and am very forgiving, but heres what you should expect. You will walk in and no one will greet you for ten minutes. Next youll be escorted to your "fine dining" booth, passing by the bar with toddlers playing on the floor next to drunken adults. Next the food will take awhile, but be affordable and tasty - not the sort youd go back for, but might look impressive otherwise. When you go to the restroom, plan to see the inside of the door carved up with knives from top to bottom (no joke) and black toilets (so you dont have to clean them?) Next, plan to see no one there, no scene at all. Plus, get an automatic 18% gratuity for you and just your special someone!?!?!?!?! Then, when you pay with a credit card they show all the digits of your card, which is against some federal law, on your receipt. Needless to say, I grabbed both copies with my card number and B-lined it for the door. Never again.

Our party of 4 recently planned to dine at Conga. My son checked and found out they had a happy hour till 7. He got there at 6:45 so he could get happy hour prices. The waiter completely ignored him and his girlfriend in their booth. I joined them at 6:55 and they told me what was going on. I said, "Lets go to the bar and order". There, the bartender ignored us for a couple more minutes (there was hardly anyone else in the place). Then when he finally sauntered over, we asked him if we could get happy hour prices. He said no, it was over at 7:00. I looked at my phone and it said 6:58 and told him that. He said well the register said 7:00 and he had to go by that. He very obviously stalled so we would not get happy hour. We still ate and drank there, but I would never go back or recommend it to anyone because of that. Not the way to treat new customers these days!

I went to this restaurant for the first time last night with my wife, we had a waiter by the name of Huey that in my opinion was one of the best waiters I have ever experienced, he was very kind and took time to understand what we were looking to eat. He helped us with the menu so that we could understand what we were ordering and he was very good at recommending Cocktails that fit the mood and the meal. The food was some of the best food that I have had in years and the atmosphere as well as the staff along with the food really made my wife and I want to make this place a home that we frequent often. If you ever go eat at Conga Latin Bistro please do yourself a favor and ask for Huey, he will make sure that you and your guest have the best time. I could not ask for better service.
