EVERYONE CHECK YOUR BANK THEY PUT A THIRTY DOLLAR MIN HOLD ON YOUR CREDIT CARD AND IF YOU TRY TO CONTACT THE OWNER BILL HE PRETENDS LIKE HE DOESNT KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT.I EVEN HAD A BARTENDER CALL ME TO TRY TO DEFEND THESE HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. Lisa and Angie are the only two good things about this place. Its dirty and it smells, although there have been some recent moderate improvements like new carpeting. When there are bands, theyre pretty much all horrible and theyre all way too loud. Bottom line: if theres another nearby bar open, go there instead.

This is a critical part of the music scene in the Twin Cities. Its pretty rough around the edges. Dont go here is going some places makes you uncomfortable. If you like a dirty ol show, or if you want a no BS place to get a drink, the Hexagon will provide.

2.75 pbrs. small stage for shows. 2 pool tables which cost a dollar a game which is rare... no food besides bar appetizers and expensive frozen pizza, but they have an awesome popcorn machine offering free popcorn. They have an elvis pinball machine.

The people we so cool! Awesome live electronic music. I love the battle between the rock sports bar side and the Indy dance music side. This is a cozy spot that can give you the thrills of a bumpin downtown club. Cool diverse crowd.

Almost five dollars for a tallboy and while you drink it, creepy men will most likely either hit on you or touch you. If you go for a show, buy your drinks at the bar on the right, over by the stage. That is how the bands get paid.

This is a historic and well-known local bar. If you were going to drop a short historic famous bars in the Twin Cities this would be on it. The place is definitely under appreciated for the amount of live music they have

I Love The Bar, The Only Issue I Have Is The Cash-Only Rule. I Would Enjoy The Concerts I Attend Here More If I Would Be Able To Use A Credit Card. Otherwise I LOVE The Hexagon!
