I really want to like this place, I mean whats not to like... great atmosphere, outstanding pizza, friendly staff, but when it comes down to it my family has given them 5 tries and unfortunately theyve just struck out and were never going back, but thats what we said after try 3 & 4 so who knows... the pizzas just so darn good! If you do go here, Id recommend take out as the service is absolutely the worst! I hope the owner and managers read this so they can implement restaurant 101 basics and save a venue thats doomed unless drastic changes are made. Heres how its gone every time Ive eaten here: Enter & seat yourself to a dirty table that hasnt been bussed, wait 10 minutes for a server to say "Hi" and clean your table, wait another 10 minutes for them to take your drink order. Wait 15 minutes to receive your drink and place a food order, which it turns out is no longer on the menu since they ran out of ingredients. Watch several waiters & waitresses busily walk back and forth, but mostly just gossiping, flirting, drinking on the job, & hanging out with co-workers that appear off duty. Wait 30-40 minutes for your pizza. Finally get a refill on your drink after flagging down a different waiter. Ask a 3rd waitress for the bill and then waiting for 10 minutes with cash on the table for change. Look around and seeing a 5 year old resting her head on the bar and apparently waiting for silverware that was never given to her table and realizing no one brought you silverware either. See uncomfortable middle aged couples also waiting for their bill/refills/any normal semblance of customer service... finally leave with a scowl as this was by far the worst restaurant customer service ever and ruined date night!!! Somehow it gets worse every time we go here, not sure how thats possible. Again, very much want to like it, but will now tell everybody that I know not to patronize this hovel, until things drastically change.

The food is decent. We ordered some regular ham/black olive pizza and that tasted fine. It was pizza. It met that standard. We also ordered the poutine pizza and none of us cared for it. But hey, the salad was excellent. Also, if you dont want to go deaf, dont come on Tuesday and Thursday nights. We went on Thursday and I think it must have been a bingo night or something because on top of the music and crowd noise, there was some woman on a microphone occasionally announcing things I couldnt interpret over the general droning cacophony. Im already mostly deaf from years of loud music and it was still loud in this restaraunt. There is no sound dampening in the place and the many voices and loud music will give you a headache. I couldnt hear my kids talk right across the table. The waitress told us that after 9pm it gets even worse and she goes home, ears ringing, and unintentionally yells at her roommate. The food also took a really long time to reach the table. It was over an hour from the time we sat down. The server was really nice and made up for most of the displeasure. She chatted with us for a bit when she wasnt busy. I probably wont return, at least not without earplugs.

Looked very nice from the outside. When we walked and asked for a table we were rudely told "sit anywhere". So we walk around looking for a table that will seat 8 people. When we are sick of looking and are about to leave, an employee comes up to us and says "theres an open table in the back". When our waitress came to take our order she was quite nice and at this point were over the earlier encounter. We ordered appetizers, pizza, and one friend ordered a sandwich. In most restaurants an appetizer comes out before the meal, but that was not the case here. We ordered bruchetta, which is not that hard to make. We received the bruchetta and pizza at the same time, and it was honestly delicious. Unfortunately for our one friend, his sandwich didnt come out until everyone else was already done eating. The food was actually quite good, but I would not recommend going due to the poor service

The atmosphere and food were great however the service was one of the worst Ive experienced. A guest and I sat at the bar to have a drink and food. We sat at the bar for over 10 min before someone even handed us a menu and at least 5 employees walked right by us. A few minutes after we received the menus someone asked for our drinks. We got our drinks and the server proceeded to walk away without saying a word until we finally yelled "and" because we were ready to order food. During the meal I finished my drink and wasnt offered another one and my guest even spilled half of her drink and an employee was completely oblivious even though she was 5 steps away. Overall food was great and fast, but the sevrvice was awful, which is hard to say since Ive been in the restaurant business for a decade. They need more communication and TEAMWORK.

The first time I went to this place, the food was amazing -- even though the service was lacking. Unfortunately, my second visit here was a complete disappointment. The food was not what I remembered, as the pizza was incredibly greasy and overly cheesy. The staff did little to accomodate our dissatisfaction with the food. Also important to note that service here is consistently SLOW. We spent almost 2 hours waiting for our drinks and food, and had to walk up away from our table and hunt down the waitress to catch her attention. Will probably not go back after this experience.

Loud, busy, great! Exactly what I expected and the pizza is so much more. Chorizo taco pizza was what my wife and I ordered on our 10th anniversary of marriage... It was amazing and the Techno Viking ale was more like a five reilsing than a beer-ale. Self seating was a bit difficult since tables were almost all taken so bar top it is. Quick service, and a nice sample portion of various beers, on request, of only an ounce, not a large amount. Overall, with every penny. Next time were trying the duck pizza.

If its winter, dont sit beside a window or you will freeze but dont worry your cheesy bread appetizer will be burnt and you always can look forward to your half burnt pizza. The waitress will apologize several times to make it better but will have no idea how to handle your complaints. Not to mention if the people you are with talk on the soft side, you wont hear them due to the amount of echoing within the restaurant jamming like its a bar.

Great food, however service is slow and seems unorganized. A lot of mistakes with our order and/or forgotten drink and food orders. Ordered a drink and an app. and the server forgot about it and apologized, but at that point I didnt want it. Very slow service. Something is off with how the place is managed. I want it to succeed, so Ill give it one more try. This was my third attempt.

Really good pizza. Id put this on the short list of must visit restaurants in Grand Forks. Casual place, but great pizza. You can tell they put time and effort into creating unique and tasty pizzas. Very Clean. Also, good beer variety. Once you try it, youll come back weekly. Food is Dynamite. Service can be hit or miss, but I have never personally had a negative experience.
