Went in on a Friday night, wasn’t too packed and service at the bar was decent. The real kicker was the service at the tables by the “waiter” named Crystal. Service at the tables was painfully slow, I was with a group of 8-10, I had to go to the bar and order drinks for myself and guest, it took at least 30 minutes before the waiter even came to our table. Once we got our first set of drinks, it took another long while til we even see our waiter again. We’re trying to have a good time and you’d think the waiters would be around taking orders trying to get more money for the bar, but this wasn’t the case. The worst part of the night is my waiter Crystal, lost or stole, my credit card. When i let her know she had not given me the card back, she let me know “I always give the cards back after i open the tab.” Which is understandable, so i told her, i checked my wallet and i know for a fact she had not given the card back. She then goes and checks everywhere she can think of. Comes back another time and says she had given me the card back, brings the manager John. I tell them both, i have not received my credit card back, give them the description of the card and then they both go check again. My waiter, Crystal, comes back another 2 times, telling me she gave the card back, making me physically check my wallet in front of her. I have to tell her multiple times she’s wrong and asked her if she checked everywhere, so she leaves to check one more time. The last time she comes back, she’s giving me a speech about how careful she is with the cards and she always puts them in her sock, never carries them around in the notebook. As she is saying this, she drops a credit card she was holding in her notebook, and it looks exactly like my card. I asked her if that’s my card as she’s picking it up, she quickly answers, “No, its not” and walks away like she was trying to hide it. I am convinced my waiter either lost my card, or stole it to cover up the fact that she hadn’t given it back to me and didn’t want her manager to know she had made a mistake.

My first visit was a disaster. It started with parking. Valet parking. Arrived about 8:09 pm on June 18th. Waited around and watch for someone to leave as I forward the valet guy ran in front of me and put a cone down. I told him that was not right taking all the parking to make people pay. Now the waitress Lauren was not nice didnt speak no smile just ask for a credit card to start a tab without asking if I first wanted a drink. I ordered a Corona beer. My friend saw on the menu it was happy hour. I said good 1.00 off my beer. When she returned she said 5.68 I said isnt it happy hour? She replied yes, but your beer is not draft. I ask her why didnt she tell me it was happy hour? Lauren said I cant. I ask why not? She said because, they want you to pay full price cause people dont buy enough. I said why wouldnt they if I order water and knew it was happy hour I would buy more drinks. She went on about working somewhere else and she couldnt. As the night went on she took to long to bring our food which was cold and the bleu cheese dressing was like water all I ate was the chicken. First time there sucked. It was my daughters 35 Birthday party and I found out after we left the waitress stift her on a few drinks. Bomber.... The only thing that was good was the cake and the band. They rock!!!!

Hands down the WORST bar in uptown dallas. Granted the beer selection is nice, but the pricing is ridiculous, and the shots served are watered down at best. I bought a round of shots (5total) and my bill came out to be 79$. So I tipped the bartender 5 $, when I went to order my next round an EXTREMELY loud and rude woman took over and screamed she wouldnt serve us because she expected a 15$tip for every transaction. Lol I had a great laugh and enjoyed the rest of my night at Clutch bar down the road. To no surprise it was much, much better. Customer service is what brings a customer back to a bar, not selection. And unfortunately thats exactly what the BBC bar in uptown is lacking.

Came in around a little after 9:30pm on a Sunday. Two people were working. Bartender finally acknowledged us at 10:03 when she came by to pick up the previous checks. I asked for a menu and she told us the kitchen closed at 10:00pm, which I immediately realized was the reason we hadnt been greeted (she didnt want to serve us food.) I looked past it because at this point I just wanted a drink. My friend and I ordered a water while we waited for 2 of our friends to arrive. We left at 10:15, without even getting waters. Talk about next level laziness. Probably wont go back, despite the fact the place itself seemed pretty cool.

This place is fun! I was last here for a social meetup on the patio, and the service was pretty decent for being 20 plus people in our group! I chose to go in and order from the bar tender, she was kind and helpful while I was ordering my drink and later when I ordered food, she was friendly and quite delightful! Also love the fact that this restaurant/bar has a movie screen and played on of my favorite Wes Anderson films while i was having my dinner! Super chill, clean, and comfortable place to spend an evening!

the place is nice but my waiter was the worst I ever had. She keep walking away when I tried to order my food. It took me about almost an hour to get my food and she forgot to check my Togo order and that was messed up and tasted bad and it was very cold. That was my last time eating there for good. Never again will I spend my money at a horrible establishment again.

Came in for trivia night. No host at the front, so we assumed it was seat yourself. At least 3 waitresses walked past us without acknowledging that they saw us sitting there. The POS was about 10 feet away, they were all gathered around it, talking and hanging out. We left. Would have been fun but your servers need to be trained on proper customer service.

Edit: went back and had a very below average experience. Salad was wilted gross. Burger was blah. Ceiling was dripping water. Chicken strips still delicious. Moving my review from a 5 star to 3 star. Great food! Chicken strips are better than Raising Canes. Cool atmosphere. 2 patios, large bar and TVs. Going back as soon as I can!

This probably just applies to the Saturday night experience, but this place was so crowded I could hardly move ten feet. Never even got to order a drink, took me ten minute to get across the room. Eventually my friends and I went somewhere else where it was enjoyable and not a mosh pit of bodies and actually got served.

This place is amazing. Every time I come to Dallas this is what I look forward to. Great beer, good food, and the wait staff and bar tenders are extremely knowledgeable. The atmosphere is so comforting and inviting very easy to relax our enjoy yourself with a crowd. Will be going back every chance I get.
