I love this place! Id honestly rather eat at GB than anyplace else in town. The food is fantastic and the staff is even more fantastic. The beer is just amazing, although be forewarned that it has a higher alcohol content than normal beer. The clown that wrote the sole bad review is either a plant or has some other beef. First, GB has a wide selection of beers from light bodied to heavy, all with distinctive tastes. Every beer Ive had at GB has been first class. As for the food being "frozen garbage" - thats just proves the reviewer has never been to GB. The kitchen is behind a glass wall and you can plainly see them cooking with all fresh ingredients. Why people need to lie in these reviews is beyond me. Ive never had anything at GB that wasnt great. I more or less hate fish, but on a whim I had their fish and chips, and now its my favorite meal. I cant say enough about how fantastic this place is or how enjoyable the experience is. Update: The comment about the beers from the previous review was so wrong that I had to check to see if I was insane. Apparently not yet. Just Google "Gordon Biersch Beer Awards" and youll see that the win awards every year for their beers at the World Beer Cup and Great American Beer Competition.

It makes sense why this place its so empty and after reading all the reviews. Came by because we were starving after a long flight from LAX to here and wanted to eat and at least have some good beer while we relaxed..well only one thing was good about this place and it wasnt the beer... Food was good, but again maybe I was just that hungry so I guess I cant really say if it was mind blowing or anything. Our server Melissa was nice, but really didnt know too much about the beers we ordered nor did they have any kind of flight tray to serve it on as she just laid the glasses on the dining table. Most of the beer and I mean pretty much should just say all SUCKED. I have never been so disgusted in so much craft beer in my entire life that I wouldve rather drank a Coors light after all the nasty beer that came from this restaurants. If I ever come back to this plaza, I would avoid it at all costs and eat elsewhere.

I thought this place was great. Buddies and I are in the military and decided to take a trip to Dallas over Veterans Day. We came here not expecting anything. We just had read the reviews and decided to come in. They gave us our first round of beers on the house for Veterans Day which is awesome. We came in during Happy Hour which means some discounted appetizers and drinks. We only had a few beers and the ones we tasted were pretty good. I had crab and artichoke dip which was delicious. The atmosphere is very clean. Only complain was we felt a little out of place. Seems to have a clientele of 30-40 year old business type and here you had 3 22 year old soldiers coming in.

My wife and I had an excellent Valentines Day dinner at this restaurant. It was fairly quiet and the food was quite good. I would definitely recommend it. The only issue we had was that we originally sat outside and after coming back with our drink order our server forgot about that. After waiting about 10 minutes we moved inside and were seated at a table. The staff and management apologized profusely and the manager even comped our first round of drinks. I dont fault them for making mistakes we all do, but they handled it very professionally which I appreciate. I would not hesitate to dine there again or recommend it to friends and family.

The decor was great, the staff was amiable, and beer was delicious. We tried the beer sampler, lobster bisque, bbq chicken sandwich and crab sandwich. The garlic fries were yummy! Nothing spectacular or memorable about the sandwiches, but they were good. My only issue was the lobster bisque - it was like eating lumpy gravy. The soup was thick and there was absolutely no meat in it. Ive had lobster bisque in many places, including Boston, and this had to have been the worst one by far. Thankfully it was taken off the bill, but still left me disappointed. Try the restaurant out, just dont order the lobster bisque.

Very nice restaurant! Clean. Atmosphere seemed to be for more upscale business cliental. the menu had amazing choices, everything I saw go out liked and smelled wonderful. The only thing that bothered me was the wait staff. Maybe I was theyre on a training day our something, but the entire foh staff was just kind of standing around talking to each other.there was no hustle, it was kind of like we will get to you when we get to you kind of deal... A girl named Ashley was the only one to take notice and a she did an AMAZING job! She made me want to come back.

Calamari appetizer was great. We were with a large party and had mediocre service. After my first beer I had to go to bar to get another because I was tired of waiting. Then I NEVER got my food and to make it worse after the food (everyone elses) was brought to the tables we never saw the waitress again, never checked on us to see how thing were or drink refills. I couldnt even tell anyone about my food until they brought out the bill and then all I got was an Im sorry. Worst service Ive ever had.......

Gordon Biersch is a great restaurant! My boyfriend and I frequently come here with his and my parents for good beer and food. The mushroom-chicken pasta is delicious, as are their salads. We also love to get the asian chicken appetizer! The beers are pretty good, and really only fall flat if you personally dont like that style of beer. I love to get the Heffweisen, and also ordered a blond there that was delicious. The service is always good as well, which is refreshing.

Loved the food! Its a nice place to come in big family groups. I came with my family for the first time and had a hard time deciding on what to order because they had so many options. I ended up getting the seafood carbonara which was very good. Its not a very quiet environment if thats what your looking for, it was pretty loud but the service was great and the staff was all very friendly from the moment we walked in.

Ive been here a few times and give it a mixed review. Overall, a bit pricey for the food quality. Service has been good. Atmosphere and location are what youre paying for. Stick to the burgers and other cheaper items. Those are fairly tasty. The beef medallion plate on one visit was mediocre. The broccoli was microwaved from frozen. The potato wedges were horribly seasoned. The beer variety is hit or miss.

I am all about my German beer so when I heard about this place, I had to give it a try! Happy to say it did not disappoint, any place that has Hefe brewed in house is ok in my book. Drinks aside, the food was also delicious, I highly recommend the sausage platter with the mashed potatoes. All this combined with friendly service means Ill surely be back!
