My family and I decided to spend our sons birthday at our local Hooters restaurant on Jan. 5th 2014. I was a little apprehensive about the choice my family made to go to Hooters this particular day, because my past experience of eating at Hooters was not a good one. In the past year, I watched a episode of "Undercover Boss" where Hooters CEO Coby Brooks was featured on the show and went into some of his restaurants to see first hand what could be improved as well as which things were going good. Watching this episode convinced me that change was coming to the Hooters chain, and last week we decided wed give it another shot. My experience was was absolutely terrible, starting with the service that we received. Well after our drinks had been empty for a considerable amount of time, we had to track down our server who had seemed to vanish. Out of the 7 seven people in our group, not one person had one thing good to say about the quality of the food that we had received. I personally had ordered a bowl of chili, as well as a order of boneless Parmesan garlic wings, and a basket of fries. The chili was bland, the quality of the chicken was terrible, and seemed as if it was sitting under a heat lamp for hours, the fries in which everyone in our party had ordered were cold and soggy, leading me to believe that they had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended amount of time as well. I rarely ever complain about dining experiences, and realize that more times than not a persons dining experience can be chalked up as being "hit or miss" in regards to the overall quality, but out of the 7 of us that visited this Hooters restaurant, not 1 person had anything good to say, this leads me to believe that there are some food quality issues, as well as personnel issues taking place at the Hooters Mall of America location in Bloomington MN. As members of the service industry, Im sure you are used to receiving frivolous complaints. I would like to once again reiterate on the fact that I am not "that person." I could count the number of times on one hand that I have voiced a complaint about the quality of the food/service I have received while dining out.

My husband really wanted to meet this place we where shopping in mall of America and decided to take him. Very good place and atmosphere but the service/waitresses were horrible. First two or three waitresses where arguing on who table was who. After watching them debate about this- we decided to ask another one that just passed by. She got our order for us and brought us our drinks. We waited for almost 30 minutes for a salad. Never was asked if we wanted refilled on our drinks. I think the whole management if this facility is not worth it. If your waitresses dont know what table they should be helping than what do they know. And of all things you should know better no to argue in front of customers. Get your act together ladies your not 15. Never never going to this place again. I dont recommend it to anyone either.

Im...disgusted. Ive been to this Hooters establishment off and on for the last 20 years or so. I have always left satisfied with the food and service, but not tonight. It was my daughters birthday. I told the waitress and she told my daughter theyd be out to sing. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer. The appetizer was out fairly quickly and was good. After that the waitress rarely came back to check on us. Our drinks sat empty. The wing took FOREVER to come out. Only after she brought the wings out did she have someone else get us refills. I could almost sympathize if the restaurant was busy. It wasnt. There was tons of other waitresses running around. They looked to have about 3 meetings amongst themselves at a back register. They also did nothing for my daughter. Thanks Whitney for the great experience.

Terrible experience. I expected more! Server was not very attentive. Didnt offer refills until drinks were empty and trying to flag someone down. Ended up having to go to the bar for refills and to get some drinks. OVER PRICED restaurant. Mall or not they are outrageous and nothing was spectacular. Couple meals were cold. Next time will skip here and go to BWW. Manager had minimal care about a bad experience and didnt even have a care to fix the issue. What a joke of a place. No wonder they were hardly busy on a Saturday night. Then coming to see a 2.9 on their review Im like yep that sounds about right. Surprised it was that high. Server never asked once if the food was even ok or how everything was going.

Watched a table of 6 barely make it through their meal because they were far to intoxicated or on other substances. Not to mention they were being rude to the servers and to the tables surrounding them. As i notice mall security walks into the restaurant to see what is going, the manager tells them that they dont need to be here and that everything is fine. The servers were doing amazing per usual. The manager that was their tonight isnt much of a manager in my opinion did a very poor job of handling belligerent customers. How does the hooters organization handle incompetent managers? Tonight was completely unacceptable and not to mention very unprofessional.

Worst hooters ever! Chefs eat while cooking dont wash their hands or use gloves while touching non food items. Waitresses are very rude and stuck up they wont wait on you until they feel its time or you have sat there for twenty mins. I have never experienced such a dirty and unprofessional environment and we eat out a lot! Oh and dont bother bring anything up to Management because they are worse then their staff, theyll treat you like crap whether its two of you or a group of ten! Guess they dont need our business. Total fail hooters moa, shut this place down before you poison someone.

The food was not good at all, we have been there before and it was ok but this time...eh! The servers are very nice, especially when they have to deal with boneheads starring at them thinking they have a chance in hell to hook up with them...Aholes! But back to the food, boneless wings my daughter had were nasty, fish sandwich my husband had was fishy, nasty tasting and I had an cobb salad which was decent except for the chicken which had no flavor. Should have gone to Dicks Last Resort like we planned on :( Will not go back to Hooters again.

The food was pretty good but the service was REALLLLLY slow. They dont exactly have heat lamps so some of the food was cold by the time it got to our table...And from where I was sitting I could see the area where the watresses picked up the food and one waitress was moving food around on the plates and the first time she used her hands...just her hands...God only knows what she touched before that!! Then after that she used napkins but even that wasnt very efficient....if it was my food I would have sent it back!

Food was cold! Our waitress, Taylor was amazing and worked hard to make it a great experience which we appreciate, however after spending hours in the mall with children only to be served cold bar food wasnt what we expected. All the lemonade drinks were sent back as well. My thoughts are the mall was near empty and they could have been preparing to close but if they werent prepared for us they should have closed or limited the menu. Ill try this place again during peak times. A discount was offered but ...
