Finally some Popeyes I can get to easily from where I live in Bloomington! Ive been a Popeyes fan for 25 years as Im from Texas and have seriously missed good chicken since leaving my home state in early 2011. This location is a former KFC, and they didnt change the building so the front counter area as well as the dining room are rather small for a Popeyes. Ive been here twice so far, both times between 1 and 2 pm on a weekday and it was very busy and I had to wait around 10 minutes for my food after ordering. All of the tables in the dining area were taken but a nice gentleman offered to let me sit at his table. Its still that great Popeyes taste I remember but they have gotten very stingy with the gravy, and since I almost always order the potatoes and gravy, this was disappointing. I have to remember to ask for extra gravy from now on, but otherwise its just as good as I remember from down south.

I was headed for KFC and saw it had been replaced by Popeyes. Okay, Ill try it. I ordered two meals at the drive-through -- one for lunch, one for supper. When I got home and unpacked, I realized they had shorted me and Id received one meal instead of two. There was no telephone # listed through either directory assistance or computer anywhere for the Richfield location. After some digging, I found the # of the exec headquarters. I spoke to the CEOs secretary and explained my issue. Her response was "How did you get this number?" Losing a meal is not the issue so much as it is a warning that customer service is not a priority here. Check your bag before you leave.

This popeyes has the worst food always. They always have old food. They have no customer service skills and the owner is a complete prick that teaches his staff to cut corners as much as possible they wont even fry your chicken fresh for you even when you tell them you will wait instead they lie and say the chicken was just pulled from the grease. They are always out of product and will get mad and ban you from their store for calling them out on their bullshit they need to just close their doors because they are in the wrong buisness; they will not ever get another hard earned dollar of mines.

Been there twice, each time order has been simple...and horribly mangled. How you can order a meal and get bag with just chicken in it is beyond me. Most recent, when I went in to correct it, the young man who had made the mistake just laughed from the drive through window while the manager helped correct it. I had to convince them of my order, and then realized I also hadnt got the biscuit, but I was too annoyed to go back once I got to the car. Great food, HORRENDOUS service. And they dont care either.

The WORST experience Ive ever had a Popeyes location. First they got my order wrong and refused to fix it because my niece took s piece to eat. After returning all the chicken including eaten piece, the manager argues with and tries to give me partial refund because I didnt have the drinks. After coming back and forth inside twice I go back to thru the drive through and return the drinks and she give me my money the proceeds to throw the drink on me and it spilled on me, the car and my passengers.

Used to like Popeyes a lot but my last few visits here have me never wanting to go back. Prices went up at the same time as the food quit tasting fresh. The well seasoned breading cant hide the fact that everything tastes like its been in refrigeration too long. If youd like more than one of each condiment they want to charge you for any extra. Poor service. Makes sense to me why the dining room is empty during usual mealtimes. Will check back in a year maybe. Miss the old Popeyes.

Arrived at 10:30 in the drive through and waited for nearly 10 minutes (we were patient because we knew they were closing soon and trying to get things done). After no answer in the drive through we parked and got out to go in since there were 3-4 tables full of customers only to find the doors locked and the manager pulling the cash drawers from the registers and ignored us at the door. Checked Popeyes website to verify the store closed 15 minutes early.

So I went to Popeyes Chicken and ordered the fish, see where I went wrong? I made a big mistake, the popcorn shrimp and fish meal was bland at best, fish was so dry I only had one bite and threw the rest away (I had gone thru the drive thru) had it not been for the cocktail sauce the shrimp would have been tossed too!. I really like their chicken but if I want fish again I will drive to Js Fish and Chicken in Inver Grove Heights!

Mitch nailed it: "Great chicken, terrible, unprofessional staff." Eat inside and order simple and it might be fine. Im guessing they smoke a lot of weed there. They got our drive-through order wrong three different ways. Theres often a long line at the drive-through. We thought that was because lots of people like the food, but its apparently because everybody in that line is getting their order assembled over and over again.

The service was terrible. I stood in line waiting 3 to 4 minutes while the girl working the counter, Jasmin talked to a friend. I was the only customer waiting and I felt disrespected that she didnt even give me the courtesy of an acknowledgement. I left. I tried the drive up since there was no cars in front of me and had to wait again as Jasmin was taking drive up orders too. Never again.

Horrible service I was there at 10:20pm well before closing. After waiting for no service at the drive thru and a honk of the horn they turned off the lights on the board. As I left I saw the lady hiding in the corner of the drive thru window. That will surely be the only experience I will ever have with popeyes

I feel like every time I go here, something is wrong with my order. The food is alright. It seems to just keep raising the prices. They are getting almost too expensive for what you get. When they first opened you got nice portions. Each time I go they get smaller and price gets higher.

Dont go to the Richfield location, find a different one. I gave this one three chances. Two times they gave me soggy food that had already died in the window. Once they got my order wrong and gave me dirty looks when I told them to correct it. I will never return to this location.

I came here soon after it opened. The food what pretty decent and about on par with what I expected. I felt a bit lethargic afterward but thats to be expected when consuming fried chicken and french fries. Not sure that Id come back since it was only an OK experience.

I want to like this place. Go here before 9pm to guarantee that someone will take your order at the drive through. They might not get it right though. I love the biscuits and the spicy chicken is decent. But sometimes when you order a four piece you only get two.
