Im not one to complain on social media before talking to a business but after no return call from a manager, I feel I need to share. Ive had bad service for years...now its just annoying. We took a group of 6 there on May 14th, 2016 at 8:40pm. Clearly they were busy before we arrived but not when we were seated. It was maybe 1/2 seated, mostly the bar area. I ordered a specialty drink. Flavor was good but no alcohol...not worth the price. Then I asked for a Midori/Vodka/Sour. The waitress said they had no idea what Midori was. How can a higher class place not have Midor, let alone know what it is. I drink them at VFWs and dive bars all the time. The Appletiny was good! Now for food. We ordered 2 appetizers. We asked them to come first. The soup came but not my lettuce wraps. It took almost an hour for the food to come. 2 dishes were cold. We were not waiting for new warmer dishes. All dishes were served at the same time except my appetizer. That finally came 8 minutes after everyone elses dish. Yes it was my meal. While eating, our table ordered 2 beer refills and a coke refill. It took 22 minutes to finally arrive but not until we complained. . Thats when we found out our waitress was on night #5. She did a great job and was very friendly but your staff/service really made look bad. This is all so sad because all these issues are easily fixed by the management. Your food is good when served warm and faster. Charge me $8 but put some alcohol in the drink. Then I wont leave and finish my night at Bricks.

The food is great. I love the build-your-own bloody, pizza, and burger options. Plus, there are so many choice for each of them! The service is awesome, I wish I could remember her name, but she was so friendly and down-to-earth. I wish I was a kid so I could play in their Kid Zone, video games on a little bar for the kids. SO cool. The food is presented well and priced well. The owners really know how to please their crowd. The one thing I hate is the front door. There is no window to tell if someone is coming and every time I have been there, I have either seen a little kid get plowed over by the door, or my fingers smashed by someone pushing the door open hard and me trying to reach for the handle. It scares the crap out of me. Other than the front doors, the place is AWESOME. and the patio is super cute. OH yes, and the hostesss. I swear every restaurant struggles with hostesss. Not the tavern! They greeted us immediately with a smile on their face, they were busy but did not show it. They also had a good system down and I noticed there was always a hostess at the stand at all times. They also said goodbye when we left. Great training, and great job Hostesss!

Saw that they appeared on grubhub online ordering. While their food is fantastic they need to change their delivery charges. They have a minimum of $25 order which is fine I was over like .50 of the minimum order price. Co-worker and I ordered and clicked before realizing this order was going to cost us over $45 for $25 dollars worth of food. They had a minimum tip of 15% you cant tip any lower than that, an almost 10 dollar sales tax, and a six dollar delivery charge. To pay $20 in extra fees is just crazy. Will never order online again and considering the outrageous price I really dont think anyone else should either. Place an order and pick it up and save $20 dollars. Other restaurants in the area like ole piper inn, green mill, new china, and the newly added rink restaurant give you lots of good choices for food & delivery at lower price with out silly fees added on and you still get great food.

This is a hard review for me to post, because if you asked me what my favorite restaurant was, I would answer Tavern....but not in Blaine, in Woodbury! This location just really is sub par to the others. Its almost ruined it for me and caused me to branch out else ware to eat. The late night staff is ridiculous. The hostesses can be very confused and disorganized. I was once told I couldnt sit at a specific table in the bar area because "there are no forks over there" When I told her its no problem, were not eating and if so....lol... we could just grab forms from the waitress, she said, "I am not even sure where we would get forks". It was the weirdest conversation I have ever had. Needless to say, we sat ourselves and everything turned out fine. Unfortunatly, this hostess continued to "look for forks" around the establishment asking various waitresses where they would be. It was comical.

Our server was stretched between too many booths. The build your own menu is nice. The quality and flavor of some of the ingredients is ok, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall an ok experience although the kitchen botched my build your own order, our server offered to have it remade. I know lots of ingredients can be confusing but when its your business model it should be flawless. Having eaten a burger another local restaurant,Barley Johns, for the same price you can get a very filling and flavorful Burger with waffle fries that are unmatched. So would I eat here again? Absolutely. Would I go out of my way to eat here? No.

Cake here for a small family birthday dinner. Good service, we ordered a burger to go at the beginning and they forgot about it. We had 2 small kids with so it delayed us by about 25 minutes. I had the best salad of my life. Even though it was a salad I loved to make your own option. I will go back again and give it a try for better service. Looks like good happy hour deals. Although, Id be a little more eager to go back if there was happy hour on the weekend...overall Ill go back give service another chance food great, service not so much.

Once we discovered this place, we couldnt get enough of it. We only live around a mile away, so we consistently order take out from here. The food is delicious (love the Tavern burger and waffle fries with seasoned sour cream!), and the price is decent. Weve also done sit down, and the staff was fantastic. If you go here more than a couple times a year, get the loyalty card! Its $20, but gets you 20% off every time you use it (plus some other great deals). Its more than paid for itself with how often we go. We love The Tavern Grill.

Ate there today for the first time in 6 months (Oct. 2016 according to google) seemed like longer cause Im such a busy person and we have probably eaten here 2, maybe 3 times ever. OK so we walked in today and were seated immediately. The waitress, I believe her name is Sam walks up and immediately remembers exactly what my girlfriend and I both ordered to drink, raspberry lemonade & Mountain Dew. I was so impressed!! Amazing service!! The food today was great as well.

We went for appetizers and beer. Bruchetta and sesame crusted chicken Stix. The best ever! The bruchetta came with fresh roasted tomatoes and chopped olives. The chicken with the spiced mayo dip was the perfect accompaniment. The service was friendly and prompt, but no too prompt so we enjoyed a few sips of our beer before the food arrived. The patio was the place to be on this beautiful summer evening. I will be going back to try everything on the menu.
