Our first try was last night. We ordered the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce combo, the Orange Chicken combo, and Beef Egg Foo Young. This was THE worst alleged Chinese food we have EVER eaten. The Shrimp with Lobster Sauce tasted OK, but what was off about it though was the fact that it was more of a ginger and black bean sauce. There were zillions of black beans in it. The alleged fried rice was HORRIBLE. It was dried out and flavorless. It tasted like they made a giant batch of it days ago, and just kept heating portions in the microwave for customers. The egg rolls were a damned shame. Overcooked, and the inside looked like it had spoiled vegetables in them. The Orange Chicken was bad as well. The chicken was not seasoned at all, not even the breading on the pieces was seasoned. They had the nerve to saute the chicken pieces with exactly one tablespoon of orange sauce, hell, were not even sure it was orange sauce. The Egg Foo Young was HORRENDOUS!!! The patties were bland, greasy and disgusting. The gravy was obviously flour based AND lumpy as hell. The white rice that came with it was overcooked, and obviously sat in the steamer for hours on end. Were not even sure that it was Jasmine rice. Overall, the skunk that got run over on 12 Mile Road right outside of the restaurant, had a better night than we did. CHALLENGE FAIL!!!!!

poor atmosphere and management!!!! despite the food being reasonably good, our dining experience was close to hellish. while eating dinner on a wednesday night at around 8pm, the ambiance felt like being in the middle of a battlefield at "chuck e cheese." we were serenaded by several 3 year old boys running around the restaurant constantly shrieking. after about 30 minutes of continual disturbance, we asked the manager to speak to the parents on our behalf. her response: "this is a birthday party-- theyre just having fun." after ignoring our request, we ended up leaving after paying for a meal and getting indigestion. we will never return to this restaurant, despite being in the neighborhood on a regular basis, because of this managers attitude and lack of respect for ALL her customers.

If you like waiting around a long time before someone serves you, or when you need something from the wait staff and cant find them, or youre trying to get your check and no such luck on a waiter in sight, then its a great place. this is at dinner time, when its usually not too busy. go figure. also, it seems to be a great place for chinese parents to take their kids as a fun park. many times ive experienced kids enlessly running around, screaming from the top of their lungs, with the parents AND the managment not blinking an eye, even when this issue is addressed directly to management. theres a difference between a family restaurant and a kids restaurant. if i wanted to eat at chucky cheese, i would. i had a horrible experience!! dont go!!

This place is not what it used to be. This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant and I would easily give it 4 or 5 stars. It is a pale shadow of what it was. The menu is greatly reduced with many of the authentic Chinese dishes being gone from the menu now. The biggest disappointment came from the service though. My family and I ordered 4 dishes. It took over an hour for all of the dishes to come out. Each dish came out one at a time with large gaps in between. The food was not of the quality that it used to be either. I am truly sorry to see this place become what it has.

An American standard restaurant known how to treat people, the worst service I have ever seen, when we walked in the lady sitting us was on the phone in front of us for 2 minutes then she asked us if we want a menu of course you always need a menu then our waiter while we were eating I told her to give us a box and she grabs the 2 plates in front of us and I told her no Im still working on it, food was not really good and the price is too high for the food youre getting

I am from San Francisco and know what dim sum is suppose to be like and this is it. The pork buns are my favorite. Even my kids like this place. You also can tell it is authentic by how many non english speaking people there are here . The price is great. And to the one that complained about needing Pepto-Bismol after there meal. They my just not have the stomach for chinese food. Its the best Ive had in this god forsaken state. If you try you wont be disappointed.

Myself and many of my fellow co-workers have been very regular customers of this restaraunt only because their food was good. However the quality of the food has gone down quite a bit in the last year or so. If thats not bad enough the owner is very rude and has messed up my order more than once. He even had the audacity to blame me-the loyal customer-for the mess up!!!! I no longer support this business and eat elseware.

First visit to Golden Harvest in 2 years. We went there last night to celebrate the 2017 Chinese New Year with friends. Golden Harvest management did not prepare very well for the evening, very slow service with brand new servers. Helped ourselves several times for things we needed during the meal and show. They messed up the bill after making us wait for that, too. The food? The food was OK, not the best in Metro Detroit.

I visited Golden Harvest at lunch time and found the experience to be fairly good overall. The lunch specials are around $7 and you receive soup, an egg roll, rice, and your choice of entree. The food was well prepared and I even had leftovers at the end. The wait staff were attentive to me, but the restaurant was also mostly empty at the time. Id recommend giving it a try!

I love Golden Harvest for two reasons. One - they are open at least 1-2 hours later than the other Chinese joints around here. Two - They have some rather delicious dumplings (though if you call in and order them you better call them potstickers, lest you get corrected by the staff). Five stars all the way, these other reviewers dont know what theyre talking about.

OMG the worst. Who puts hard celery in food. The food was greasy. I didnt get what I ordered - they simply threw something together that was suppose to resemble Moo Goo Gui Pan. Hard celery, I still cant believe it. There is suppose to be a light gravy over the food - grease thats what I got. Do not bother - they are sure to disappoint.

Gotta say, I was a little skeptical looking at the reviews but it was the only place open at that hour. Luckily, it didnt disappoint. This was about a month ago and I cant remember everything we ordered, but the sesame chicken, crab rangoon (used actual crab meat!), and the noodles were all on point. The soup entrees were fantastic, as well.

Incredibly unprofessional to have incorrect business hours listed on SEVERAL DIFFERENT SITES AND GOOGLE! I drove 25 miles with my wife to eat at this restaurant to find out theyre closed. BE MORE RESPONSIBLE WITH YOUR WEBSITE AND MAKING SURE IT ACCURATELY PORTRAYS YOUR BUSINESS! DUMB@$$£$
