The food is delicious and authentic. I ordered a Mexican burrito with carnitas, and the pork was tender and flavorful, the guacamole was creamy with nice chunks of avocado, and the pico had a nice bright flavor. The two salsas served with our chips were fresh and one was spicy but not overwhelming while the other was mild but tasty. The dining area is small and informal, food is served in either baskets or plates. It took a while to make my burrito, but not unreasonably so. The people were very courteous. They take their food seriously. Highly recommend.

Reminds me of being in Mexico! Most authentic food anywhere near this location. The restaurant is small so at times you have to wait for a table. Carry out is always available too. Try the shrimp tacos! Try the botanas! Try the burritos! Try the homemade beans and rice! It is all Good! If you travel for work and miss real Mexican food...Try La Botana!

My family eats here as often as possible. I grew up in San Diego and La Botana is the best Mexican restaurant Ive found in Michigan. It is a small place only 6 tables, lots of carry out but you can get table service. Owner is very friendly and the food is fresh and delicious! We even have had La Botana cater a party for us.

Im glad this place is so close to where I live. The food is always fresh and AUTHENTIC. Huge selection and the prices are reasonable. Never a disappointment. The enchiladas verdes are fabulous and I also like the shrimp quesadillas. Best guacamole I ever tasted. Cant wait to try more dishes here!

I tried the combination meal with one taco one enchilada and one tamale. It was very good I ate the entire thing and I almost never do that at a Mexican restaurant. It may be small and tucked away but it is by far the best Mexican food Ive had in a long time. You have to try it!

Nice little local Mexican place which serves authentic Mexican food. From the looks of it feels like a mom n pop shop. Staff is really friendly and servings are great. The combos are ample and have different things you can try. I got the wet burrito and jarrito drink.

Incredibly delicious chimichangas. I havent tried much because I cant seem to get passed them lately. The enchiladas are really good too and both dishes Ive tried come with rice and beans. Im always very full after eating here. They also make some awesome margaritas.

Didnt care for the rice and beans are all. Fried chicken breast tasted more like panco breading. Tacos were decent, however my co-workers loved the food and said theyll be back. Personally I prefer Grand Azteca or So Patio. Just comes down to preference

Food was incredible. Most places you go the chicken quesadillas taste the same, just chicken and cheese with not much flavor in the chicken. Could not believe how flavorful the chicken was. Freakin amazing. I would go there every single day if I could.

I have gone here multiple times. The food is pretty authentic. It is a little bit overpriced and some of the meat is dry. Despite that, the staff is friendly and there is an excellent beverage selection. Its okay overall.

Food trends towards the mild side for those weak Michigan palettes. They have some solid hot sauces available to properly spice the food, which is amazing. Id recommend the asada fries and red enchiladas.

Amazing authentic Mexican food. The level of quality is also very high, my picky little sister even loves it. The chicken tamale is unparalleled. My only complaint is that the soda comes in cans.

Muy rico!!! ... very nice and cozy place, what we Mexican call a "fondita". Good food, very close to the authentic taste of Mexico. The "al pastor" tacos are good, the burrito and chimichanga.

The steak fajitas are the best fajitas Ive ever had. Highly recommended. The complimentary chips and salsa are great. Friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices. Definitely check this out.
