Some of the worst food Ive ever had, from any place Ive ever eaten in 32 years. Five shrimp in the snack, which mostly consisted of fried, rather tasteless breading. Potatoes that were absolutely swimming in butter or oil -- there was around a quarter inch of the stuff pooled on the bottom of the container, where most of the seasoning has also ended up from the looks of it. Im trying to salvage it with napkins and paper towels as we speak, and those are already soaked in grease. This was my first experience with Chicken Shack, and my meal feels way overpriced at $8 (not to mention: what kind of restaurant doesnt stand by their product enough to issue refunds if necessary? I worked at Pizza Hut for half a decade and we always did that). Any given Coney Island in this area does fried shrimp better, not to mention that you can get a giant Styrofoam container of excellent Chinese food or a decent large pizza for the same amount. I honestly feel ripped off, and we wont be back.

The chicken was horrible, the customer service was worse. I returned the inedible chicken while my family ate the rest of the stuff which we dished up for the kids. By the time I returned they were full. Our family dinner, a big treat we looked forward to. was ruined. Adding insult there was no apology, and I was treated like a pest. I worked 4 hours for this splurge, an apology would have been nice. At the very least a small amount of courtesy instead of a scowl. Some sort of compensation would have been nice too, but I guess putting you out by replacing the chicken was over your limit. Were sad well not be enjoying our favorite splurge again, but family dinners and hard earned money are too precious to waste on Chicken Shack.

Where should I start ? Ok lets begin with ownership wish I knew his name (old fart with glasses) this guy is always rude and grouchy, has no customer service skills what so ever not once have I entered this location and encountered a service smile. Dining area is just plan pathetic greasy tables and chairs dont want to forget the napkin dispensers all stained with sauce residue , does anyone clean at this location..!!! As you can see here in the pictures below theres some sort of infestation of mice/roaches etcetera god knows but I will not be eating here again LAST TIME I ATE HERE I HAD FOOD POISONING.... BUYER BEWARE ****

I have ALWAYS LOVED chicken shack. Ive been eating chicken shack since I can remember. I went to this location yesterday and the girl behind the counter was SO rude- all because I was asking questions about the menu. Sorry I dont know the menu up and down and I would like to know what Im ordering. I love chicken shack but I wont go back to this location. No wonder why there was no one in the whole restaurant.

Been going to chicken shack for over 35 years and the last 2 orders from this location have been the worst I have ever had. over priced greasy potatoes, soggy cod fish and everything tasted like it was heated up in a microwave. have never had bad fish like this. last order was chicken and that was just as bad. I have ordered my last meal from over priced food from Chicken Shack.!!!!!!

Chicken Shack (for me) is a guilty pleasure. Theres absolutely nothing healthy about anything they sell but Ill be darned if it doesnt taste good. Most of the menu features deep fried food that gets served in a whole lot of sauce so it can be a bit of a heavy meal. Great flavors definitely come at a price so Chicken Shack is something Ill have only from time to time.

Is the owner of this location a retired cop? You walk in the door and instead of a friendly smile, he rudely stares at you. I see cops eating there as well. Yikes! The atmosphere of this place makes me feel uncomfortable.

OMG! ALWAYS GOOD! Everything. But we were told yesterday that this location doesnt serve coleslaw, even though its on the menu. So we had to get our family meal with broasted potatoes AND french fries... Still great!

Best Chicken Shack location in the Metro Detroit area. Theres a reason why Chicken Shack is voted "Best Ribs" year after year from local magazines and newspapers. Its because of this location.
