I ordered chicken gizzards, red beans & rice, collard greens and hush puppies. Luckily...I ordered small portions, of the most horrible food Ive ever ordered. The gizzards were tough as a leathery belt. Red beans & rice had a funky taste to them with a lot of red tomatoes or something resembling it, and it was mostly soup like you get from a can. The greens werent there at all, it was mostly soup the little bits of greens floating in the juice werent tasty at all. And on top of all that the sides were pulled out of a refrigerator cooler and they had the nerve to serve it to the customers ice cold. Them hush puppies tasted as though they came out of a bag. My advise to anyone who goes there to do not order any suppose sides if they pull it out of the cooler this place aint worth your time and money.

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!! I WOULDNT FEED THIS CRAP TO A DOG!!! FOOD WAS TOO HARD, COOKED IN OLD GREASE, TERRIBLE!!! THIS PLACE NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. IN THE HOOD, SERVING THIS STALE FOOD TO PEOPLE, WHAT A DISGRACE. I WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. AND I WILL WARN MY CO-WORKERS TO DO THE SAME. NOW I HAVE A STOMACH ACHE, AND I FEEL LIKE I AM ABOUT TO THROW UP!!! YUK!!!! AND ANYONE GIVING GOOD REVIEWS TO THIS PLACE MUST BE RELATED TO THE OWNER. THEY WOULDNT GET AWAY WITH SELLING THIS CRAP IN THE SUBURBS. PEOPLE WOULD PROTEST!!!!

I grew up going to the manhattans fish & chicken on Davison and Livernois. There is wondeful! Now since they opened this location on the corner of JOY RD AND SCHAEFER, i eat with them at least 3 to 4 times a week. There chicken, shrimp and fish is fried to perfection. There custom service is well-underrated, and there KOOL-AID puts alot of these other restaurants to shame, plus there deal on the food is affordable and reasonable. I give this location 5 stars overall!!!!

Im from New York, so I was very happy when I saw the name of the restaurant was Manhattan! The place is always clean and organized, not like a typical Chicken and fish spot. The food is so incredible, I never liked fish until I ate here! And Im pretty much addicted to their desserts now lool I highly recommend eating there, the service is friendly and accommodating , the prices are amazing and the food is excellent.

I would give it NO stars if I could. I ordered two wing dings specials 20 minuets before I came in. I got there and still waited atleast about 15 more minuets. The food was HORRIBLE!. The grease was old and the wings were burnt! I will NEVER return to this location. The young guys were laughing and joking in the back. HORRIBLE

Catfish, wing dings, or shrimp! It is all good over here! I never made an order and was disappointed. 50 large shrimp, battered, cooked, and seasoned for $19.99?! My wife loves getting food from here and its always on point. We enjoy and definitely recommend this place.

They have the best fish in town. The guys that work there are really friendly and the prices are great. Unlike Captain Jays they actually season their food. They dont just throw lemon pepper on it.

Food was not Good. I ordered 3 pieces of fish(Perch) and 3 pieces of chicken and it comes with fries. Everything was old and simply re-heated and not cooked freshed.
