This restaurant may have an edge over Dragontown, with its atmosphere and seating availability, but the quality of food and staff seems to be lacking at China House. My first meal at China House, the chicken was a very fatty cut and made the dish inedible. Upon complaining, I was given an apology but never an offer to replace the meal. Still, I returned a couple weeks later to try again and had a similar experience. My broccoli was overcooked; it was mush. Again I complained but I was told "Thats just the way its cooked." Broccoli should never melt in your mouth. I could get over the rudeness of the staff if the food was up to par, but its not.

Pretty sad about this meal.... our regular Chinese place closed so we tried some place new. The food was inedible. No flavor. The sauce was just brown salty water. I ordered the orange chicken and the orange peels in the brown sauce was brown and soggy..... the sauce was as thin as water. My husband got sweet and sour chicken. And again the sauce was runny and the chicken was not cooked all of the way. My sister ordered the sesame chicken. No flavor at all and sauce was like water with a ton of salt in it. We couldnt even finish our meal. Will never eat here again.

We ate there this afternoon around 4:00. We were the only ones there which is understandable at that time of day. My meal came out and was awful. The meat was spoiled. Our waitress came back to check on us after my husband had shared his meal and we were finished eating. She wanted to know if I wanted a box for my untouched meal. I explained to her that it was spoiled. She took it away, but never removed it from the bill. I would never go back. Its one thing to have a meal you dont care for, but to be served spoiled food is quite another.

I judge all Chinese restaurants by their pork dumplings and Kung Pao. The dumplings were bland and under seasoned, by far the worst I have ever tasted. Kung Pao should be spicy and full of peanuts. Mine hand literally less than ten peanuts in it and a generic one size fits all sauce. Wont be going back.

i been eating here since it opened never been disapointed fast cheap always tasted good never gotten sick fortuna inn is ok at best make sure you bring your retirement fund with you to pay for the over priced ok food

This place used to be excellent. Now the soup is water. The food is blah. They charge extra for every little thing. Overpriced and poor food so go elsewhere because there is a better Chinese place in South Lyon.

Fantastic Chinese take out, very fast, reasonably priced and friendly staff. Ive never had a problem with an order and its always ready on time. Honestly the best Crab Rangoon Ive had!

Never enough sauce on anything, ask for extra and get charged $1.00 - carry out service, they ALWAYS forget something. The quality of the food is just average, nothing special.

Too much breaking on sesame chicken. The shrimp fried rice was ok. However, the shrimp was unappealing and translucent. Most likely not returning.
