I hate to give 2 stars but MY experience warrants it. Pros: restaurant is super clean. There was soapy water everywhere just before 9pm in the mens restroom (I didnt mind it because I know they are really clean). The decor is really nice and would be a good place to bring a date. The prices average around $12 to $15 per meal, the portions are large and the server was nice. Cons: the sesame chicken was a let down. The chicken by itself was good and had a good lite batter but the sauce didnt live up to it. It quickly is forgettable and just tasted like sugar mixed with honey. My biggest thing is customer service and GB failed here in the end. As I was finishing putting my food in a Togo box they cut the lights off on me! It was 9:15! On there door and website it says 9:30 pm. Not to mention I was about to leave anyways. I dont believe they would have done that if other people were there. It was very insulting as if my money wasnt good enough? I know my server didnt do it because she was in eyesight.

Im a truck driver and Ive seen my share of chinese joints. This is by far and away the best Ive tasted. You can see the quality in every dish. Most places, you can taste the same sauce running through all of the dishes, not here. The service is attentive and helpful. I had the crab rangoon, wonton soup, beef lo mien, and the imperial chicken. The meat had a real sear to it, the vegetables were fresh, crisp and not overcooked. And the sauces were distinct with their own great flavor that didnt kill the rest of the dish, but brought it out. The wonton soup had shrimp, mushrooms, watercress, carrots, peas, a ton of noodles, all in a smooth, tasty broth. Stunningly good. It was hot and everything was fresh, it didnt sit in the same vat all day before serving, but assembled and had the broth poured over it. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. The noodles were just right. The best Ive had. I could go on, but youre already hungry. This is what you want tonight!

My experience was ok its a little expensive food tasted good, but my leaving experience was a little off , I gave the waiter my ticket with money and I was to receive some change but he never brought it back to me so I waited a few minutes to give him a chance to bring my change back but he didnt, so on my way out I stopped by the cash register and ask why I didnt receive my change the waiter had put it in a container on the counter he decided that I didnt need my change for some reason, I told the cashier that this was rude and not nice to keep someone else money, it doesnt matter what amount it was its the principal of giving back your customers money no matter what amount it is, we probably wont be going back

Food is okay. However, if you have children and they arent too fond of going out of their comfort zone when it comes to food I warm you: DO NOT order from the kids menu. Its a joke. Especially if you order FRIED chicken and fries. I made the mistake of ordering that option and instead was given CHICKEN NUGGETS Mind you, there were like 4 chicken nuggets that looked and tastes like they were store brand straight out the freezer. When I called to dispute that I did not pay 8 dollars for 4 pieces of nuggets I was flat out told that "fried chicken IS chicken nuggets." In what world?! Save your money. Do not order from the kids menu.

I get Golden Buddah with my co workers every Friday. The prices might be nice, but the food is not. Extremely bland taste to pretty much all of their food besides the Mongolian chicken. The fried rice is tasteless and bland. I tried the Lo Mein last week and enjoyed it at first. Only to start feeling sick 10 minutes later. I understand that $7.50 is a good price for Asian food, but this is just horrible. I love Asian food, but this is by far the worst place I have ever been to. Do yourself a favor. Go to Wasabi right down the street and spend 3$ extra, its worth it.

We love this restaurant! They have a great variety of dishes and I have even created a few dishes of my own, which they were gracious enough to make at my request. We always use delivery and their delivery drivers are so friendly and efficient. They even include the hot chili oil that we like and we dont even have to request it...they just remember good customers. Kudos to this restaurant for their consistent quality and exceptional customer service!

Absolutely will Never go back!! Only Bufords!!!! Everything was totally re cooked & the beef was black, burnt!!! Crab angels were old & dried out!!! I called up there & they just said Oh sorry! I paid with cash so they were happy about that bc they couldnt give even $1.00 refund! I will be intouch with Mrs. Lee on this matter! I know her very well!!!! So....DONT GO TO OAKWOODS!!!

As a local, i can say the "other" places that are "cheaper" are not better quality in my opinion. I love this place, and always try to swing by for lunch and its consistently busy. I mean, if youre just considering your budget, you can go elsewhere. But, if you want friendly faces and great tasting food, this is the place to be.

The place is nice the food was good. (Had better) but wasnt bad but, when I walked in the waiters were standing in one place starring at me like, "what do u want or here for". I looked at it like they never saw a 64" man before. Not a bad Chinese food restaurant though. But definitely not 5star. 1-10, 5.5.

This is hands down the best Chinese Food, no matter where you go. Great pricing, great service, great food... what more could you want? Our faves are the Pork Chow Mein, Sesame Chicken, Sizzling Rice soup, and the Deep Fried Pot Stickers. Even my picky 4 year old begs for "golden budi"!

Lunch is a better value than pricier dinner meals like with most restaurants. Im pretty sure they use MSG because I always feel bad shortly after I eat there and the food makes me super thirty the rest of the day. The meats dont taste normal so I would recommend a vegetable dish instead.

Some of the food is okay and some of the food is pretty bad. For example, I ordered some chicken lo mein and General Zuos, the chicken lo mein was decent but the General Zuos chicken just had a nasty cheap taste and looked several days old. I probably wont be going back...

Went today for lunch. Had the almond chicken which was fine (nothing special), would have liked it a little warmer. I asked for chopsticks & never received them. Wanted a to-go cup for my drink but my server never came back to my table.

The place is still pretty good but if you can remember back 10, 15 years ago then you know the quality has definitely slacked off. There are newer and better places in the area these days but for old times sake, Ill stop in now and again.
