I normally do not like to be negative in reviews, but this is the worst IHOP Ive ever been to. Im sure it may have just been my timing (when I arrived there), but still. I went there for the first time a few days ago, and promised myself to never return there after encountering a couple of turn-offs: First turn off: As soon as I walked in, I was instantly greeted by a blasting chill from the AC unit (I should note that it was 5am and already chilly outside). Second: After waiting about a minute or two for someone to help me (I was literally the only customer there), a nice lady greeted me and walked me to a table. She asked how I was doing that morning and, after I responded with "Tired. And you?", she replied with "Im tired as hell!" It shocked me a bit, but it got worse. One of her coworkers tried to correct her on the issue, but she then jokingly added: "Its cool ... This is my cousin!" That normally wouldnt be too much of an issue, but the fact that she didnt care that she was intentionally unprofessional to a paying customer made me want to leave. That was a major turn-off for me. For the record: I am not related to her [to my knowledge]. Third: [Please note that, at this point, I may have been a little picky with everything since the environment and customer service was terriblly unappealing - making me search for something that I can be happy about] The quality of the food was sub-par and did not justify all of the previously mentioned turn-offs. In conclusion: I was, in total, displeased with my experience there and will not be returning for another visit.

Normally Im very happy with this IHOP, unfortunately my last visit was pretty terrible, the girl at the register seating everyone was making a list for people to wait but when I looked around I very clearly saw at least 4 tables not being used, then when we finally got seated we needed a minute to look over the menu so the waitress did some other stuff but once we were ready to order the waitress just continued to walk around and ignore us for about 5 minutes before she actually made her way back over to take our orders, I also heard her be pretty rude to the table across from us as she was leaving our table and they wanted to ask them something and she told them kind of rudely to wait a minute instead of even finding out what they wanted and again took her time getting back to them. I havent been to this IHOP in a while and it seems they have some new staff that were less than satisfactory, also I ordered steak tips with mushrooms and the tips were absolutely disgusting, I only ate one, they definitely are using a very cheap grade of beef, very very cheap because at first I thought something was wrong with my food it tasted so nasty. This location is near my house and I always used to come here but now I think Ill go out of my way every time to go to the one by Lakeside Mall.

This one is tough to write, because the food was fine. However, there was a clear racial barrier here. My father and I visited around 11pm, after a concert. They were clearly under-staffed, but the service and greeting staff didnt seem to like the fact that two men of a differing race were in the establishment. We were greeted with a mild disregard and given numerous dirty looks. It took nearly fifteen minutes to have a server ask for our drink order after being seated. When the server finally arrived, we asked to just order. She responded with a disgusted attitude, but complied. Numerous items had to be asked for multiple times; coffee, ketchup, the other half of my Dads food. But like I said, the food was fine. Correctly prepared and hot. Experiences like this are why the racial tension is so high in Metro Detroit. I dont believe we were being judged by the content of our character, as we were clearly judged by the color of our skin.

Just left this ihop with my son and cousin the tea was nasty so I asked for another one the waitress instead decided to go and take the man that sat after us drink order and food order she mixed up two other table orders meanwhile the man got his drink and food before us my son drunk all his milk so I tried to get her attention but she kept walking by us fed up thirsty and hungry we decided to leave while leaving she chased us out and lied straight to our faces saying she came to our table and told us that our food was almost done which she never did she didnt say anything to us after me asking for a new drink the manager had a attitude and the waitress was horrible I waitresses at IHOP for two years there was no excuse for the service and to lie to our faces was unexcusable we might of stayed if she didnt lie to us like we were dumb wish I could give this place zero stars

Firstly, I tried calling because its the 4the of July so I wanted to make sure it was open busy for at least a half hour. Once I arrived there was a roar, which I thought full restaurant, cool. No, sadly no. There were 3 booths filled with totally obnoxious people screaming and yelling. I asked for water before I sat down even and guess what..?? That never made it to me. ordered sirloin tip with eggs blueberry crêpes instead of pancakes, my friend ordered the "big steak" omelet. Well my steak didnt come correct. My crêpes took a good 15-20 minutes to come AFTER they brought pancakes. My toast finally arrived, with my drink at the end of the meal along with my friends. My friend asked the waitress for sour cream as soon as the food came well it didnt come till I got my toast. Needless to say I was very displeased will not EVER return, so sad kuz I LOVE ihop.

Sooooooo. First of all, this place is too ghetto. The employees dont even look professional in here. The waitress we have sucks. (Im currently in here writing this) There is one woman who keeps coming out serving people with only a tank top on as if shes working in her own kitchen. Smh I cant understand for the life of me why some black people dont conduct their business in a proper manner. Its not hard to take time to show your employees how to treat customers. Dont be lazy. Management sucks too, its thier fault that its like this now. They are so unprofessional and its ridiculous! This woman took 20 mins to come take our order, and they dont have books to even take the orders. Its not even busy in here and they are extremely slow!!! I am so done with this ihop. Im not coming back!!!! If you really have to pancakes, DONT COME HERE!!!!!!!

Dont got there to order in. Took 15 minutes for waitress to recognize us standing there for a table and there was barely anyone in there. Took ANOTHER 10 minutes for anyone to get our drink order. I ordered all you can eat pankcakes and she didnt come back and was trying to wave her down to get more pankcakes. Mind you we are the table where the waitress CAN see us. Basically I never got another set of pancakes because when she came back it was only to give us the bill. I WILL NEVER GO THERE EVER AGAIN. WOSRT I HOP ON THIS PLANET. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Good pancakes but all ihops sell the same thing. Btw. . . hashbrowns tasted like mash potatoes not like regular hashbrowns and slightly tangy..
