After living just across the Mexican border for over 20 years and spending most weekends "down Mexico way" eating at the local eateries, Lord save us from the turistas, we have finally found a resturant here in MI serving authentic Mexican food. The owner is using his own family recipes and his mama had it Right On! Travel in the real Mexico off the glorified tourist trail, and this is the down home simple cuisine of the warm and wonderful Mexican people.

Last Saturday we went there for the first time. When we got our meals, my husband noticed a dark thing in the melted cheese. Moving it with his fork , we were shocked to realize that it was some sort of large beetle type bug !! We waved the waitress over, and she offered to bring him another dish !! Um... no ! Repulsed, we got up and abruptly left . Wow. We certainly wont be back , and will be sharing our story!

Food was awesome as always but the service was not up to the usual. Waitress tried to remember our order (party of 6) without writing anything down. Any special requests were missed including food with allergy issues clearly spelled out at ordering. Also had to ask for silverware after the meal was brought and tortillas to go with our queso several times.

Enjoyed some great Mexican food! We had a large group and were told we might have a longer wait on food, but didnt notice a wait at all! Wonderful guacamole (chunks of avocado in it) and quick to bring refills. Tacos were loaded and meat had great marinade flavors. Giant taco salads. We all enjoyed it! Thanks from the Kensington Clarkston Church staff!!

I always get the Chicken Chimichanga. Its amazing. Food comes quick, servers are polite, Ive never experienced a wait for seating either. Only reason why Im giving 4 stars is because its a little dirty. Menus are sticky, silverware doesnt look very clean. The tables and floors and plates are clean though. Definitely recommend stopping here.

This place has become my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is outstanding and the service is good. Ive been there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and every meal was fantastic. The only negative is that you have to pay for a second serving of salsa and chips; the first ones free.

Great food freshly made and friendly waitstaff. Good flavored salsas, mild, Green verda and a hot. Tacos are good. Nachos are great, with lots of toppings. Chimicanga is very good but get sauce on side or it will not stay crispy. Fried ice cream is ok.

Best damn Mexican youll find around here! Tried nearly everything on the menu and never been disappointed! Flavoring is spot on! Careful of their tostadas for some people they may be too HOT to handle! These arent any Taco Bell tostadas. LOL

Finally Good Food and Good Salsa. Since moving from California Ive been searching for a place like this. I tried the beef, chicken, and cheese enchiladas, delicious. My mom had fajitas and she rarely finishes her food.
