I have frequented many Mexican restaurants in the area and this is the absolute worst. The air is hot and stagnant in the dinning room with no air circulation at all. Our waiter tended poorly to our needs by rarely refilling our drinks and did not check on us hardly at all such as when our food came out. Our group of 6 had to wait 40 minutes for dinner. On top of the wait time, our food was incorrect and they neglected to fix it. The food that was brought out correct was lukewarm at best. Our waiter neglected to bring out our check after we finished our meal and disapperead at the end of our stay. An employee came by and asked "how is everything?" after our waiter left. We notified him of our horrible service and very reasonably asked if he would adjust our price. He said "okay" and walked off and did not notify the management or anyone at all. This was an awful experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone as I personally will never be coming back.

Dont let the outside of the restaurant deter you from this gem! My absolute favorite mexican restaurant to go to in Jefferson for lunch! The staff is always very attentive and friendly. They always have specials for lunch which makes them more affordable than the others nearby. The speed of the service is incredible! This is very important when on a timed lunch. The salso is my absolute favorite. It is somewhat chunky and has cilantro when makes the flavor amazing! One warning would to be to take a jacket, it is always freezing cold! That is really my only complaint which really isnt a complaint.

Our server was amazing! He knew the entire menu by memory , I described what I wanted and he said "Thatll be a #23!" Food was perfect, I felt right at home with the taste of AUTHENTIC Mexican food, not that Tex Mex bull crap everyone from down south does lol My clumsy husband spilled his drink and our waitress kindly cleaned it up promptly My son cleaned his plate ! Amazing for a toddler I told hubby he doesnt have to ask me where I want to go for date night because this is it Their beer selection is also awesome

We enjoyed a delicious dinner, each entree was +/- $10. My Steak Fajitas were awesome! Also, this was the first time in a very long time that I couldnt finish my meal. I took home nearly half of my fajitas after eating all I could hold! Everyone else at our table enjoyed their meal, as well. Beware: If you want less spicy, its wise to say so! The service was also very attentive and pleasant -- nice folks!

Very bad service! when I asked the waitress to give us some time to think about an appetizer she took her time and didnt come back to the table, when we finally got up to ask for the check her and manager didnt even ask if "everything was okay" like they usually do when you go to a restaurant. Just told the manager what we had and he charged us. No "thank you, come back and see us" when we left.

This is my FAVORITE Mexican place! Great food, friendly staff (family owned & operated), and reasonable prices. They have the best chicken soup I have ever tasted in my life. The salsa varies, sometimes very hot and sometimes not spicy at all, but its always good!
