Let me tell you. I eat a lot of Chinese food. And as a constant connoisseur, Im pretty choosy about my Chinese. This place has easily the best Chinese I have ever had. The service was great and so was the atmosphere. But the food was just amazing 10/10. The chicken fried rice was beautiful. So good. As was the egg drop soup, which our waitress let us try all the different flavors of! There was no wait on anything. And to feed two people, it only costed me $8. Eight. It was amazing. I am not from muskegon, so I can not come to the restaurant as much as I would like, but if I could, I would eat there everyday. I dream about the wonderful food created here. Love it. You must go

This place was BAD. The food is cheap and not Chinese at all. The Mongolian Chicken was just plain gravy (think Thanksgiving) and unseasoned chicken. Tasted like a cheap TV dinner, which if I wanted that, Id have gone to the grocery store and not wasted my money on takeout. The Beef Lo Mein was actually just ramen, probably off brand too, just nasty and unseasoned rubbery beef. Bland and tasteless. The General Chicken was just cubed chicken that fell out of a fake chicken breading. Sticky but didnt taste like anything. The white rice was excellent. Followed thedirections on the bag perfectly. Way to go. Waste of time. Just avoid this place.

The only people that enjoy going there is people who are used to cheap food and poor quality. I can still see the white on their fried rice, I know when someone is passing ramen noodles for lo mein! Anyone giving this place higher than 1 star needs to have their head examined. Funny this is the only Chinese Restaurant I been to that does not accept "Credit Cards/Debit Cards". Why? Because you cant dispute the charges after getting garbage food! And why does good customer service/friendly staff must equal a 5 star experience lol.

Absolutely disgusting! Found fruit flies in my shrimp fried rice, what looked like chunks of hot dog or bologna in my shrimp egg roll, egg drop soup tasted like spoiled eggs and the sweet and sour soup was sour and rancid! Not to mention that everything tasted like it was cooked in the same pan with no discernable tastes and obviously cooked way before I ordered any of it! I am appalled, ashamed and disgusted by the food and the preparation of it all! I WILL NEVER ORDER THIS CRAP AGAIN!

My favorite place in the whole world! Large chicken fried rice, dollar extra chicken, extra egg in a lunch box. Ill go there 3 or 4 times a week. Sometimes more than once a day lol. I feel like family there, I just tell them my name on the phone and they know what Im getting. Best chinese in town and best price. Maybe Ill get a free fried rice when the owner sees this lol. Love ya guys.

I always do carry out so cant comment on dine in service, but have always had a great carry out experience. The food is good and is very reasonable priced. House of China is the only place I will order Crab Rangoons from because Im crazy picky and they only have cheese and meat in them. Biggest downfall of this place is that they will only accept Cash or check.

This is my Go To Place For Take Out. I am a Huge fan of the Hot Sour Soup. Great Price. Egg Rolls are good, but prefer simple veggie or pork, but theirs are combo. I like that I can get a Lg Hot Sour Soup, order of Egg Rolls and Small Mongolian Beef(my fav) for a mere $9. Busy place during lunch most days.

i went to the house of china yesterday and it sucked. yeah theyre cheap, but i know why now. the chicken was so nasty. and for the lo mein, it was ramon noodles mixed with vegetables. and to top it all i was in the hospital all night diagnosed with food poisoning from them

Horrible experience. Customer service wise a lot she plainly sucked taking my order and was rude over the phone. The food was absolutely terrible which is weird because Ive eaten here before ,so im just hoping they had an off day or some sort.

This is NOT authentic Chinese food. I travel the country for my job, and this is one of the worst tasting Chinese restaurants Ive ever eaten at. In 30 years, china palace in midland Mi is the best.

The best tasting Chinese food youre gonna get - but they messed up our order a couple times. Upon notification, they went over and above on the next one to make upon for it. Top notch quality.
