Hi Gail, The woman that works at the cashier unfortunately doesnt speak English well to understand the sanitary customs in America. In China, a lot of food is actually recycled and have a higher than average probability of containing trace chemicals that the FDA/Sanitation Inspector would deem grade F. I have spoken to her regarding the quality of life here is much different than her home country, as she is now aware of the circumstances. The vents have to be properly maintained and while cleaning, the restaurant woks are flipped upside down (so you see a dome instead of a normal wok in cooking). There is usually nothing in the woks during closing/cleaning and the woks are cleaned/scrubbed with stainless iron wire sponges which probably has an infinitely higher chance of leaving a residue than the actual residue that would be collected due to cleaning the vents. I hope you can understand Panda is a competing fast food restaurant: this means the food will be cheap vs getting P.F. Changs or some 3 star eatery. All in all, I would suggest raising your concerns with management... the woman is not the manager but the assistant manager. Thank you for your patience and understanding! Best, Ming

这里距离沃尔玛超市很近……其实就在拐角处的位置，如果不是门口的open字样，我都以为没有这家店。我点了炒米粉和炒面，口感和国内的味道差别不大，而且店家上菜速度很快，个人对口味很满意。我们去的时候正好有旁边的装修，有点影响店家的生意吧……无论如何，口味不错，我很乐意推荐大家来尝试一下……

While the lady behind the counter may be blunt and short I dont believe she intends to be rude. Either way the food taste and PRICE makes up for it. You can also snag a free cup of hot tea while you wait for your order or while you eat there. -did I mention the prices? The lunch specials are really cheap. A great place for a quick lunch. TIP: you can call and order ahead of time and pay when you get there.

OMG - just visited Panda and the "women owner" dropped an egg roll on the floor. Looked to see if anyone see her and boxed it up for a call in order. A few months ago they were cleaning the vents over their cooking pots. I walked out that day. IM DONE WITH PANDA IN KOKOMO IN.

Without a doubt the best chinese food in Kokomo, but the woman who runs the registers and takes the calls is INSANELY rude. Always short, snippy and crappy in general. I wish the other Chinese restaurants in Kokomo were on par so I could have a nice alternative.

Food is usually great -- once in a while tastes old. The woman at the counter is VERY Rude. She acts like it is such an imposition when you ask for a Fortune Cookie. Prices are pretty good for lunch, but please dont ask for a Fortune Cookie
