I ordered the beef chow fun, twice cooked pork and the stir fried green beans. We also got a taro bubble tea. The food was great, but its a 4 star for 2 reasons. The noodles for the beef chow fun were the dried type, instead of the freshly made noodles. Also the taro bubble tea was made from the powder instead of the fresh taro root. It was more like a drink than a slushy. Still overall it was a great place with good service. I plan on coming back again.

Great Sichuan-style Chinese and Chinese-American foods. If you can order of the Chinese menu, do it! The buffet is a good deal, and *most* dishes are tasty. Some can be a little spicy as it is Sichuan-style. Drinks are included in the buffet price at $7.99 Staff is friendly and quick. Ice cream is also served for dessert and various bubble teas are available for purchase.

We came based on the reviews and got the buffet. The waitress had a horrible attitude and seemed like she was as bothered when we came in. The buffet was very underwhelming with a handful of dishes. Maybe the good reviews came from people that ordered from the menu? The food was good... but for the amount of options the buffet has, I wouldnt come back.

I enjoy the spicier tradition of Chinese restaurants. This place has great General Tsao chicken and the spice crispy chicken is recommended. A lunch with a book may be my most sublime moment on a bad week. And I take folks from work on occasion. The very pleasant and really consistent service is gratifying an appreciated. Tip or be a bad person

My favorite restaurant is back. I love the food and the people. The lunch buffet is the same as before but the cold food section looks a little smaller. The new price is $8.71 including tax and drink. The Chinese part of the menu looks like they have added some things. My old favorites are still on there.

Food is pretty good. Atmosphere much nicer now! Authentic buffet on Sunday is worth it! I ordered Spicy Chicken last night and was surprised to find lots of pickled jalapenos in it! I have never seen them in any Chinese dish I have eaten here or in China. I would recommend against this dish...

This is a hidden gem. Best Chinese food in whole Carmel. All the items in buffet were made healthy and delicious. We took a sudden trip to this place and it was the best decision of the day. Great ambience, clean , smiling faces all around. Very good experience. 5 star all the way!!

Sichuan has been my favorite Chinese buffet for years, so I was devastated to find it out of business last year, and with no warning! Thankfully the same owners are back at this new location, with the same wonderful food and great service. If youre nearby, do not pass it up.

Even though I live 3 blocks from Chinatown in Chicago, every time I come to Carmel to visit friends and family I always make a point to stop at Sichuan. The buffet is particularly amazing, if youre lucky enough to make it in for a weekday lunch.

Food selection was average, not great. One little section. It was also mostly luke warm. This is during the lunch buffet. The waitresses also seem to like to tell you how to treat your children. Honestly wouldnt come back.

Lady refilled my sons drink with tan yellow water. Food was inedible...literally. I couldnt chew or cut the beef with a knife. Lots of good reviews here so I must have come on a very very bad day. Wont be back.

Ordered chicken fried rice and it was not at all good. Ordered chicken with garlic sauce and staff said it would be spicy. But it turned out to be too sweet dish..wastage of money and not going again

I love that they have offerings for newbies to sechuan and authentic fare for those who are familiar with the food. Serving portions are big so its great for sharing! And the food.. AMAZING!
