This Chinese food was absolutely the worst! I am not exaggerating everyone. I have had a lot of Chinese food and Ive never left a review. However, everything from the service to the food was so bad, I feel obliged to write it. I called the restaurant at 8:52pm, ordered my food (which was difficult) and the lady of course tried to suggest a combo rather than bill me for what I originally wanted. I let her up sale me because it was my first time ordering and I wanted to taste a variety of food. So I gave her my address and card number. After she charged me, she said it would take 45 min and hung up before I could cancel the order. Please take into account that I live 9 MINUTES away from the restaurant. 9! I knew it would be a headache to get a refund so I decided to wait but I know the lady did that purposefully. 45 mins later I receive a call from the delivery driver stating she can not find my building. I described the driveway for my apartment complex and due to the language barrier she kept repeating the same thing, "Im at your leasing office." So, I gave up and had to WALK to get any food (so much for the "delivery"). When I made it back home, I opened my food and immediately could tell it wasnt anything special. My beef and broccoli was dry, the chicken in my fried rice looked questionable, and fried wings had a weird batter. I went for a bite and my food was bland, the rice was soggy, my fried wings were hard, DISGUSTING, and had a strange after taste. The only thing and I mean ONLY decent thing I receiced was the egg roll! Im so beyond pissed because I paid $17.37 for this food and it was the WORST! Everybody who left reviews of 3+ must be crazy or either it just wasnt my day... I will NEVER order from this place again! EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I was literally expecting what everyone else does from a Chinese restaraunt delivery- pretty standard slightly crappy food. HOWEVER, the first thing I noticed when I dug into the bag was how hot the food was. I live 15 mins away and the food was still very hot upon delivery. The food was absolutely delicious too. There was enough sauce on my chicken and broccoli so nothing was dry. Everything was cooked perfectly and the chicken was actually GREAT. The portion size is huge and I could only eat a third of it for dinner, but now I have left overs for tomorrow. Ill definitely be ordering from here again.

Its no wonder when i checked online that they have 4 or 5 stars on average, their food is good quality, and comes with decent sized portions, and its not the least bit expensive, the staff is nice, if you dont have enough cash on hand they are willing to switch to a CC over the phone, and overall Ive just had a great experience with them, I usually order from them once or twice a week because i work long hours and dont pack a lunch. If you have never ordered from them before i recommend the General tsos chicken, it arrived hot and with a side of rice and soup and lasted me for both lunch and dinner.

Great food, I had Pepper Steak and a shrimp egg roll. Carry Out wait time during lunch hour was about 10 minutes. I did not receive a receipt for my cash order, and found that the cashier rounded my total up, causing me to pay about 15 cents more. ($1.39+$5.95=$7.34)($.07 cents sales tax I figured on $7 is $.51 cents =$7.85 total. I was told my total was $8,which I paid. It was after the transaction that I noticed this was done. Food was good, but I do not like being overcharged, even if it is only a few cents. Be sure your being charged appropriately.

The food is excellent. Personally, I would recommend the Garlic Chicken. I have tried the same dish at many other restaurants, but none of them even come close to the quality of Food King. I have never ordered anything off the menu that I did not think was excellent. You probably wouldnt think anything of Food King just driving by it. It would look like any other Chinese place. None of the other places in the city can shake a stick at Food King. Excellent food + friendly staff = great restaurant.

Personally after trying Food King and China Wok, I prefer China Wok. There is just something better about the sauce as compared to Kings and although smaller, China Wok is a cleaner establishment with soap in the bathroom for employees to wash their hands! Sorry the free crab rangoon doesnt make up for the difference. FYI, Food King also advertises that they deliver and then will refuse you even if you are less than five miles from their location so its basically an advertising ploy and nothing less.

My boyfriend and I order atleast once a week!! These people are the nicest! Tonight on the BeyondMenu app it said it was delivered and it hadnt been so I called to make sure it was on its way and hadnt been delivered to the wrong place, they went above and beyond to make sure I had my order and the driver even called to apologize! Their customer service, food, and delivery time is great... and why we keep coming back!

Food took nearly an hour to arrive. There were small white plastic pieces in my chicken and broccoli. I also ordered wonton soup and got an egg roll instead. When I called to let them know my order was incorrect he told he it would take over an hour and also refused to refund my money. The food smells delicious though!

We used to make long trips here just to get all sorts of food, now I live closer! The staff is always nice, and the delivery driver always has a smile. Theyve got good portion sizes and have never given me a wrong order. They are a tad pricey, but I know what Im getting, and thats pretty good!

My favourite Chinese restaurant in the area. Its not much more than a cheap little hole in the wall, but the food is excellent (I recommend the chicken curry) and the staff are friendly. Ive been eating there since I moved to Indy six years ago and go there whenever I get a chance.

I have ordered MANY times from this place and it is usually good! I order crab rangoon, (very good,) pot stickers, (awesome), and cashew chicken. Always around 20 in food and its always hot and the delivery guy is always happy! :) Lunch time is always the best time for price!

We have been ordering carry out from Food King for 10+ years, the food is always great, the order is always correct, the folks there are nice, and they have some of the best tasting garlic sauce in town! I have had a lot of Chinese food and theirs is among the best!

Excellent food with fast delivery. I have yet to have something that I did not enjoy. Short list of good eats: Tai Chien Chicken, Black Pepper Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Sesame Beef. Im sure there are many other great dishes, but that is the limit of my experience.

This place is awesome! Everything Ive ever gotten on the menu is delicious! We get food from here all the time! The staff is always super nice and they are willing to go out of their way to help out a customer. I definitely recommend this place!
