Forget the other South East Asian restaurants in town, this food is not dumbed-down for the western palate. The mixture of Thai and Burmese food is astoundingly authentic and prepared with care and love. Dont expect a ton of ambiance and during peak lunch hours, dont come here in a hurry, but let me assure you the food is worth waiting for! Super-fair pricing and more than adequate portions. Dont miss the Kuit Teow noodle soup and opt for the duck - its fantastic! The Lad Na is complex and smokey and good to the last drop of sauce. Enjoy a good Larb? This is the place. If you have a penchant for spicy, they will make it Thai/Burmese hot for you, or if you are not as adventurous as some, they will be more moderate with the spices. This restaurant is truly a Fort Wayne jewel. The local Mon, Karen, Thai, and Burmese population seem to give their stamp of approval as well. As a matter of fact, Im gonna go grab some of their delicious offerings right now...

Nice little restaurant on Calhoun St. We are a regular at this place as the food is amazing. It is a quaint diner-like place run by Burmese people. Not hi-fi but nevertheless considerably clean. Very customer friendly. The cook is a very sweet lady who addresses her customer often. I used to bring my 2 year old as a baby and they would give a chicken soup and rice accepting no charge. The Gang panang, Gang masaman and Larb" is really good. They also serve hot samosa and shrimp rolls which are to die for during winters. Try their lemon barlee or fresh lime during summer days, it is just wonderful. For vegetarians, most meat items can be substitutd with tofu.

Pro- Great food, best in Fort Wayne thus far for their flavors. Especially, Papaya Salad. Continuing to be a customer, but less frequent (its only hair and could of been worst; steel wool, bugs...) Con- Three times Ive forgiven their hair in my food. Until my reminder one day just to help them be mindful, the one lady gave me a serious attitude. Hope shes changed for the better and more understanding.

I waited for almost 40 minutes before I was serve. The rice was a cheap quality and the food is not as good as few years ago. I was very disappointed because I took my girlfriend to eat. The price they charge for 2 curry chicken and samosas was $28. Too expensive and the food doesnt taste the same compare to last time I was there. The service was horrible. I will never eat there again.....Never

Its pretty small, so if you are going with a group just know you might have to squeeze together. Very friendly people, very helpful in explaining dishes. The curry is awesome. Their Burmese dishes are pretty tasty! I got a coconut soup that was amazing! It was clean enough for me. I dont might a budget hole in the wall :) Totally recommend it.

Hands down the best Thai in Fort Wayne. Pad kra pao gai is amazing. The Tom Kah has quickly become my go-to for sick day soup. Their rice soup, with little hard-boiled quail eggs hidden inside, is great for a comfort food option. Sometimes the kitchen takes awhile, but the food is reliably delicious.

Mahnins delivers authentic from-scratch Thai and Burmese at amazing prices. Its truly one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Wayne. Their Tom Yum Goong is something I crave on a weekly basis. If its your first visit, you wont be disappointed with the pad thai. Their samosas are amazing as well.

I met the love of my live here, so itll be impossible to remove my rosy specs. I enjoy Pad Thai as much as anyone can, and this place blew me away. The Thai tea was an unexpected treat and compliment to the spices in my dish. I wish I could give an even higher rating to Mahnin, so infinity +1!

Awesome! Next time Im in town I will absolutely eat here. Delightful people serving very good food. The menu is very helpful with pictures of each dish. I have too many good things and feelings about this place to write them all. Just check this place out if you like Thai.

Food is really good, but the service is extremly bad, the owners should really spend a little bit of time to get some good servers, there is no reson the drinks will take more then 20 minute, have better service and you will have more people eating at your place.

We went there and ordered just Mohinga and soup. We dont care about the price, no taste at all. I did not eat and just left. The waitress charged me 32 dollars and no receipt . Will never go back. If possible ,We would give no stars.

A good surprise. Very small place with authentic east asian cuisine. Service isnt very fast but does their best with limited staff. We had the Larb, Pad Wee Soon, and Penaang curry. Very fresh ingredients with excellent flavors.

The food was good, very spicy. I usually love spicy foods and just asking them to make it medium was still spicy even to me! Would definitely go again! Bring cash unless you plan on ordering over 10$ worth!

I think this is the best kept secret for foodies in our fine city. Authentic is the best word to describe it. I strongly recommend the curry or the pad Thai, but anything you get is great.

Bad service. Has to wait to order the food for almost an hour then it took us an hour to get the food. The witress ( old lady) was just so mean the way she looked at us with her mean face.

I love this small neighborhood authentic thai/burmese restaurant. The staff is so friendly, the food portions are huge, fresh, and homemade. I love the pad thai and the samosas.

Great, authentic Thai food. Reasonable prices, especially since hot tea and a cup of soup come free. Be careful, though- their spice levels are southeast Asian- not American!

Service was extremely slow, for just a few people in the place. LUCKILY, the food was very good and tasty. Atmosphere is a bit sloppy with boxes all over the place.

This was the second time Id been here. The food is so good and so authentic. Be careful when asking for your spicy level. Medium spicy almost wrecked my husband.
