I walked into Sandbar today at 4 minutes after 5pm. There wasnt a table in the restaurant with the exception of a few people at the bar. We sat there for 9 minutes while the bartender looked at us but made no effort to ask us if we needed anything or find a server to wait on us. Once the clock reached 5:15, we had already decided that we wouldnt be staying, but chose to wait around just to see how long it would take for someone to finally acknowledge us. Thats when a family of 4 walked in and sat at the table behind us. They were greeted immediately by a waitress. Ok, by this point .. we literally could not believe what was happening. Finally a waitress came over with some menus and we told her how long we had been sitting there. She clearly had no idea how to handle that type of situation. So, we told her that we had only stayed and waited out of pure curiosity. Normally this place isnt bad, they have really good food. The cooks do a fantastic job EVERY time we come. Unfortunately though, we have yet to have good service. Usually the girls are too preoccupied with their regulars or friends to provide diligent and adequate service. Maybe it is because their clothes are so tight that they have a hard time concentrating but who knows!? Food: Great every time Service: Bleh Atmosphere: SUPER loud... save yourself and sit outside

This used to be a wonderful place, not so much anymore! The owner of the bar used to come over and say hi and thank us for all the business we were bringing him all the time but then one day we complained about the Raw pizza and other things, he never even looked our way for the next seven months!!! I have never seen a place go downhill so fast poor management Im sure is the answer the food was getting worse every time we went and every excuse was well we just got new Cooks! G wonder why you cant keep your help??? Their manager could use some new social skills to say the least! We wont be back!

Food was great but the service was horrible. Waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged and get drinks from a server who wasnt even our waitress. Then waited another 10 minutes for our actual waitress to come and take our order which she thought she could get by without writing it down. 2 burgers and an order of garlic cheese bread. Got the burgers but she never put the order in for the cheese bread. Again great food but I refuse to go back and pay for great food with horrible service.

Cold beer and good bar food. This is a good pub. Fairly modern decor. Plenty of TV monitors showing sports. The staff is great. The girls are all sweet and attentive. Decent food for a bar. Check out their $5 menu Tuesday. Except for steak, seafood, and few other exceptions, the entire menu is all $5 - appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and misc entrees. This is a good deal and well worth it for the food that is included.

I have to agree with the negative staff comments. I really do love the food, cooks are great, but the bar tenders/waitresses are rude, inattentive, and have a way of making you feel like an inconvenience to them, even if you are the only person in the place. I used to recommend all my friends and family go there because i was impressed with the food. Now, i tell them not to waste their time, or their night out.

I drove by multiple times, but never stopped. I was surprised by this place. Its a lot younger crowd (20s-30s) than most of the other local bars Ive been in (AARP). It was definitely welcomed on a Saturday night. Nice environment, good location, hot waitresses. Well be back.

great bar!! awesome food!! and I read some of the other lesser reviews. pay no attention to them. anyone who made comments of the waitresses attire is obviously a woman who has taken WAY too much advantage of the sandbars incredible food, and jealousy is also very, very ugly...

The pretzel app is excellent and the filet sliders . The service is the absolute worst . The staff is rude and inattentive . Not to mention they sucker you into buying them a shot when you order one ! Avoiding from here on out .

Great place to go in Harrison Twp, we love the twin lobster tails, very reasonable and plenty for two, we like to add a salad or piece of steak, plus keno and good drinks make it even better!

Terrible service. Unless you arrive there at a decent time on the weekend, you will not get the proper service from the waitstaff as they are all drunk and making fools of themselves.

Went in for a burger and the burgers were great. The place was packed by 830pm for the night crowd. The waitress was extremely nice and I had a good time will go again.
