Frosty Boy is a local landmark and legendary establishment. Its always busy on a hot day, and for good reason. Great variety of cold treats, warm snacks and friendly local service. They do have dairy-free options for those of us who are lactase-challenged. One of my favourite spots in Grand Rapids!

I was home visiting from Florida. This place hasnt changed at all. Love that you can choose hard serve or soft serve. Only thing I didnt like, was the 0.25 charge for using my card, or checking out on someones phone. Im rather uncomfortable with swiping my card someplace thats not an actual p.o.s.

LOVE this place. They have vegan & non dairy ice cream which is great for people with allergies. I would like to see more vegan soft serve flavor options, but there are other choices like flurries and floats. Wyoming/Grandville area would be a great place to open another store :)

I grew up with a Frosty Boy in my home town & was super excited to see one here! Though ice cream is ice cream is ice cream, Frosty Boy employees have smiles on their faces, always look you in the eye, and will answer any question you have about their "specialties ".

Frosty Boy is a cool neighborhood ice cream place that has all your traditional sundaes, flurries and cones along with some unexpected things like vegan ice cream. Reasonable prices and friendly staff make this a great place to meet friends for a treat.
