A friend introduced this place to me a few years ago and I have taken friends and my significant other here as a rare treat ever since. I generally order the gnocchi as this is one of the only two Italian restaurants that can properly prepare it (a traditionally more difficult pasta dish to prepare properly). My policy is to always enjoy the food and leave full and this place fills the bill for every visit. Also this place doesnt serve bread sticks bread hot and fresh and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and a perfect compliment to the dish much more similar IMO to a focaccia than a stick.

We went there tonight for my birthday dinner, I have never enjoyed a dinner more. I ordered chicken marsella. My friends ordered veal parmesan, chicken parmesan and a chicken ceasar salad. All of us were extremely happy with our meals, and they came hot. The bread basket was delicious as well as the soup and salad. Our service was superior. Our waitress was so cheerful and sweet. I also had a birthday desert, on the house. We all will so go back there. Thank you Amantea for a wonderful experience and evening.

Have been going there for years--like their spaghetti and meat sauce, gnocchi, broasted chicken and more. But yesterday, we ordered a take out pizza for the first time. Asked for 6 items on it including pepperoni, ham and bacon which we asked to have well done on each item--they were barely cooked and there literally was no sauce and it was very dry. I wanted to email them but they dont allow that on their site.

They have a few servers there who are really sweet but they some who are rude. Most of their staff is composed of old women who expect money for little work. The food is very good but I can do better in my own kitchen for less. The place is adorable but could use some new paint on the walls.

Food was good warm and what you expected but nothing over the top. The conollis where not good or worth the money in my opion, which means neither is the conolli cake. The service was very poor. If I go back and was seated with the same waitress, I would get up and walk out.

Great experience. Great food. Banquet hall is reasonably priced. This place went downhill for a while and they had trouble keeping employees but given another try I will say I have no complaints and would go back again. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice.

Pasta sauce tasted watered down and unseasoned. Wait staff seemed to forget about us, not bringing half of our drinks and just standing around talking to each other. One even stole a piece of birthday cake we had brought with us for Grandpas birthday.

When living in MI, I would go here a lot with my family. The Gnocchi Parmesan, which I always got was outstanding and so were the soft bread sticks. The house salad and hard bread sticks were nothing to get excited over.

Food was very bland, gnocchi tasted as if it had been frozen for a while. Placed a order 25 minutes in advance only to arrive and be told that they didnt have it in the system. Cant say I recommend this place. =(

With a dining room that felt like a church basement and food with absolutely no flavor, I cannot say I will ever return here. Polite and attentive staff but everything else was bland and boring.

If I could give no stars I would. I do not know how restaurants like this exist. The atmosphere is outdated and filthy. Bathrooms were disgusting and the food is over priced and gross.

Great pasta! The mostaccioli parmigiana has been my favorite meal for 30+ years, I drive from Plymouth to eat here. Dont forget the house made bread sticks, so yummy.
