I wish there were a no star option. Apart from one table with 2 patrons the restaurant was completely empty and my daughter and I had to wait 6 minutes to even be acknowledged, we were about to leave because it was odd seeing no staff. Finally a young man took us to our table, he was pleasant enough. The female server finally came to our table asked what we wanted to drink and plopped a round loaf of bread on the table. To say her customer service was lacking would be a compliment to her. The bread had was as hard as a well aired football so we didnt partake. She plopped our drinks down and asked in a blunt tone, what do you want? She acted as if our presence was quite the annoyance to her. I had had enough and seeing the astronomical prices of each dish on the menu I thought this is not worth it. While pondering this the server pronounced her annoyance with an audible sigh and a flit of her arms upward and stated let me know when youve decided. My daughter and I had the same thought and we both rose. I asked the young man for my drink bill. The server came out and acted shocked we were leaving and told us that we dont have to pay for our sodas, then added further insult by stating are the prices too expensive? I started to say that the service was severely lacking but she walked away before I could say it. I will never set foot in there again.

Bread knot was cold and hard, salad was brown and wilted. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with sauteed mushrooms, the grease from the mushrooms began to create pools of oil on the top of my pasta before it even arrived. It was SO GREASY. Ive been to this place many times, and it keeps going downhill. The wait staff were awful and highly inappropriate. I heard them from across the room snickering and making very rude comments about some of the customers. (If you must talk badly about someone, please at least step out of the room where you cannot be heard! It makes for a very uncomfortable setting for your customers!) our waiter was no different. Very standoffish and rude. Please Italia Gardens, step it up! The food used to be phenomenal, and the wait staff were professional. Youve done a 180 degree turn around for the worst! I can no longer justify paying your prices for the poor service, and poorly neglected food. Please take a look at the staff youve hired.. You may need to hire a more "mature" staff to provide your customers with the upscale service you portray.

Came in with a child who just turned 12. She cannot eat the bread, does not like the iceberg lettuce salad and only wanted some chicken strips off of the kids menu. I have eaten here for 15+ years with many members of my family. I also tell people who have never tried this restaurant that they should. Well my opinion changed today when they refused to give us a childs meal because it is for children 10 and under. So, when I said that she could just have a little from my plate they said that there will be a ridiculous $4 charge for that! I talked to management and she wouldnt budge. Therefore, I am done. Ill take my money to the other fine restaurants in town!

The atmosphere was very charming. The food incredible. Stopped by here for lunch on our way home from a road trip. We each had something different and it was all delicious. The bread is homemade and served with a whipped garlic butter. Our server, Katelynn, was outstanding. Super friendly, very engaging, top notch. I dont usually leave reviews, but I hope people will see this and come in and request her. Good service is not very common, but impeccable service, like we received today is like seeing Bigfoot riding a unicorn. Thank you for a fabulous meal. We will be back!

Service was great. Didnt appreciate the waitress calling me babe, but I understand she might have been trying to make the experience more personal. The food was ready quickly, and it was delicious. I ordered a half slab of ribs and chicken breast. The only complaint I have is the small portion, fiancée ordered chicken alfredo and it was delicious and her portion was large. But, I do eat a lot of food in one sitting as I usually only eat once a day. Prices vary from 8-30 dollars I would say. Our bill was 35.95

This place is simply awesome. The best place for Italian food in Genesee County. As soon as you walk in you smell the fresh bread in the brick oven. They have awesome bread loaves with garlic spread thats simply amazing. Great lasagna and their homemade pasta sauce recipe is the best Ive ever had. Homemade house dressing for the salad is simple and wonderful. I also highly recommend the ribs as they have the best barbecue sauce as well.

Good food with a calm upscale atmosphere. The eggplant parmigiano was breaded and cooked to perfection and the alfredo was to die for; and dont get me started on the cannoli. The only complaint I have would have to be about the wait-staff. Even though the restaurant was only about 50% full the staff seemed to be a little unorganized; but were professional. Ill be visiting again very soon, and suggest others do the same.

Great Italian Restaurant, I wouldnt bother going after 8 PM though. After 8 PM the staff seems too busy cleaning up for the 9 PM close and the quality of the food preparation goes down hill. They need to remain focused on doing their current job and worry about cleanup after their current responsibilities are through. Highly recommend the baked mostaccioli.

Literally the worst Italian food in the United States. I have had better Italian food in Naper Nebraska, town has 200 people in it. EVERYTHING here is covered in cheese...you cant even find the original food you ordered. The red sauce is ketchup (with a pound of sugar) at best! Would rather chew through my own arm than eat here again.

The restaurant is OK. It was too bright and too cold. We didnt take our jackets off during dinner. The specials are a good value, but otherwise the entrees are over priced. This is fine for Americanized Italian food, but dont expect anything authentic. The waitstaff was overly friendly but not too attentive.

I love eating at Italia Gardens - both in Flint and Davison (havent headed out to Oxford yet). The servers are friendly and the food is incredible! Their portions are very generous and the prices are very reasonable. My fiance and I are even planning on having our rehearsal dinner for our wedding there!

I thought at first that the prices were a little high but the meal comes with a large warm loaf of bread and a salad. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food amazing. I originally was going to Olive Garden but the wait was far too long. I can say, I love Italia Gardens just as much as Olive Garden!

Had the spaghetti Marinara with Gorgonzola, best I have ever had! Fantastic flavored sauce. I have found my favorite dish! Of course the salad was fresh & crisp...A bit too much dressing, and of course the bread was great. Perfect meal....And great left over meal for lunch next day!
