Terrible.I left my adult son with his wife in the car to get his 15- month daughter old out of the car seat to get a table ahead of them. The baby was sleeping and not feeling welt and they had to wake her up. I walked in and was met by a tall young girl probably under 20. I told her I needed a table for 6 but that only 3 adults were here and 3 other would be driving in in just a bit. She said abruptly that until they arrived only a table for three would be available. I told her then to get us a table for 4, for us three and a baby high chair. She said no because I already said I would need 6 seated. I told her that when the other 3 adults arrived they could sit separately. She said, " I dont believe you" Yes just like that. I thought she was joking. She wasnt. I told her we needed to be seated and get the child fed and that in 15-20 minutes the others would be fine sitting alone. She told me it was too late and that when they arrived there would be no available tables, implying she would not seat them. I wash shocked and asked for the manager. She remarked, "I am the manager what can I do for you?" Wow, what an arrogant young woman. I doubt she was a manager because she was so nasty and the place looked very nice, was quite busy and I dont think a place like that would employ such an immature and completely nasty person. Anyway, I left. What a terrible experience.

Expectations: when someone tells you, oh you have to try this place, or you have to watch this movie or..... etc .. and when you do, you are like ...... ehh.... WELL !!!!!!!!! DO expect from this place everything you have heard about, the decor, the presentation, the service and the flavor, there is nothing that I could find wrong with this place... from the host ( Which by the way only 1, and knows what she is doing) until the strawberries at the end.., we went on a Sunday a little before noon, and of course a waiting list [ when a place is great, you have to expect that as well] but the host was very cordial , no more than 20 min and we were sat down, the table was ready with silverware and glasses of water, no more than 1-2 min the expo or busser took our drink order, after that a very attentive waitresses ( Katy was her name )she had promptly ask us if the drinks were order all ready, also very good recommendations from her part, the food took only what was expected, no less , no more, to summarize Great experience!!!! Will definitely be back!!!!

So, if you come at prime time, and there is a small wait (30 minutes), (1) I would expect the wait to be longer given how wonderful this place is and (2) they have a high turn-around, so 30 minutes quoted is actually 30 minutes, and (3) WORTH THE WAIT, because: (A) the food was quite good; I mean, really really good. I had the breakfast tostada special and it was perfect. Perfect amount of food, perfect level of spice (chorizo, etc.), perfect crunch on the tostada (homemade) and perfect crisp on the accompanying potatoes. Oh, and perfect seasoning; fresh herbs... cant beat it. The coffee was nice, with lots of flavored creamer options. And, they give you chocolate covered strawberries for an after breakfast/brunch treat; how nice is that? Ill tell you: its lovely!Lastly, service was great. Friendly staff, and well-organized. You can tell everyone communicates and is attentive to keep the operation running smoothly, efficiently and enjoyably for guests. Big thumbs up and would recommend in a heartbeat.

The specials were pretty good, the salads not so much. Wait staff wasnt very attentive, in fact brought out our bill before we were done with our meal and never seen her again. Manager was super rude and unaccommodating. I took one bite of the wilted salad and didnt think it was fresh or any good and she insisted we are more than welcome to order anything else, but would still have to pay for the salad. I tried to explain that we barely touched it and she proceeded to say, "if you didnt touch it how did you know you didnt like it?" Obviously I didnt mean we never tasted it but she was extremely unprofessional and rude. Situation was not handled correctly.

I am adding this to my favorite list for breakfast! I went after breakfast rush because I heard it gets busy. It was still busy but not slammed, and I was alone, so I was able to get a seat right away. The menu has a great variety and every plate near me looked delicious! I see the specialty is the baked French toast. I will make sure to get that next time because I will definitely be back! I had the tex-mex bowl and it was phenomenal. Everything was hot and tasted very fresh. The service was terrific and everyone was super nice. You even get chocolate covered strawberries with your check!

Breakfast club on Haggarty Road. I was served under cooked (raw inside) sauage this morning. When I mentioned that the sauage was not cooked, all the waitress said was "Im sorry" . She did not offer to have the sauage cooked or replaced. I guess she is not aware of the Michigan law about serving undercooked meat. Undercooked meat can cause food borne illness. We will not be going back. Too bad. The last time I went to this restaurant I had great service and food. The waitress that served us today needs to have some re-training on how to resolve issues/customer service.

The Breakfast Club is not only a great movie, but an excellent restaurant tucked away in a industrial district of Farmington, MI. Excellent waitstaff. The food was good. I ate the Sweet Potato Pancakes w/ maple cream cheese, candied pecans & crumbled bacon. Delish! It has a smaller dining area than most breakfast restaurants, but its quaint. The decor is welcoming and down home. Other than the wait (crowds can wait as long as 40 minutes as I realized), Breakfast Club is a great choice for a breakfast experience thats more than run-of-the-mill.

The menu selections are quite unique, in a very good way. Also, their specials (written on a giant blackboard on the wall and which are unique from their menu selections) change frequently. You really need to try this place at least once! A word about how busy it gets here: On a Saturday or Sunday, if you get there after 930, expect to wait 15-25 minutes for a table. Similarly, expect to wait a bit longer than you might expect for your food. The staff is a well-oiled food-serving machine, but they can only do so much!

Not a racist bone in the body of this restaurant. This person is crazy or maybe already an activist or passionate about racial discrimination. Nothing but sweet ladies here serving killer American breakfast at a good price in a good environment. If the only thing negative about this place is one persons mistaken experience of racism then obviously this is a good place. In short people will have there opinions and if this place was truly racist they simply would not serve people they disliked. Again not the case.

There is often a wait and the dining space small, but the food makes it worthwhile. Be prepared to wait a bit if you get there during the breakfast or lunch rush. The food is creative and delicious, and its the type of menu that make you want to experiment with new items. It has not mattered what I have ordered, as it is always interesting and enjoyable. Prices are a couple dollars more than a typical restaurant, but I never leave thinking it was not worth it.
