service is poor. for some reason at these taquerias in Detroit, they dont really care to refill your water unless you ask. I cant figure it out for the life of me. The food is hit and miss. The tortas are pretty good but I have also had tacos where it was half meat and half pieces of fat. I pointed it out to the waitress and all she did was shrug. WTF?!? The other thing too, is I do really feel bad if you dont speak Spanish. This owner and his son...between the two of them, I dont know how theyre able to run this place because theres not a brain between them. To not have waitresses who can speak English is unfathomable. its just plain rude. I stopped eating here. the owner broods around like hes angry all the time. Youd think hed mingle a little bit and thank the customers. Nope. not a very sociable guy. I think hes too worried about watching roosters fight each other.

Ive eaten there tons of times in my life and this last time was terrible! The waitress took our drink orders and didnt bring them for 20 minutes, then a different waitress took our food order and nobody came back to our table! 45 minutes later I had to go up and ask whats the hold up and a waitress insisted that the food will be out in 5 minutes, ,,, 20 minutes later I had to go up and cancel the order. We were starving by the time we left. I have no idea what took so long, my guess is the bimbo of a waitress never put our order in. We didnt bother paying for the drinks, just walked out. All the waitresses have such attitudes when the truth is that they suck at their jobs and need to improve greatly.

Oh what a fantastic Taco Tuesday in the Barrio I grew up in SW DETROIT. We found a Groupon just had to celebrate the 15th year in business. Got many outrageous delicious authentic Mexican foods tonight. Alambres mixed Steak n Pork Poblano Peppers, Onions, Tomato n Cheeses. Dos Taco Birria be Goat meat WOW tender juicy n the Big Wet one. Torta Ahogada loaded with Carnitas be Pork. OMG waitress say very hot wet sauce,,,, I say bring it this Gringo can handle the heat,,, oh yeah at the high end of me hest level, so enjoyed it. We had many more dishes and leftover for home. Super great prices, fast friendly service Goin back soon for the Posole n Breakfast goods serve all day long.

Very very very rude to white ppl . . . not a joke my mom and father just went and the staff gave them different treatment than customers of other ethnicity. Aside from that my mom had ordered soup and waited a half hour and they were rude when it was handed to her.. Wasnt worth the wait other Also very nice that they have made fake emails to put flawless unrealistic reviews thats believable... go here a lot for bugers. love the food, staff is unprofessional. called there, didnt speak Spanish, they hung up on me twice, LOL, tf. had to come back and say, got hung up on again. rudest staff ever and racist, thats evident. if youre not 100% Mexican and speak Spanish, dont go here! they seem to make their own prices, I get a bugger in fries, one week and the price is like 5.78. then the next week its like 6.43. called today, and it was 7.45 . like wtf? yall charge what yall want, very unprofessional.

Ordered beef fajitas for me and beef mileneasa for my son and they brought me. Chicken steak and beef fingers the food was dry and not cooked correctly even thier sign outside has the proper puctirw of fajitas and the waitress insited this was what I ordered. So chicken is beef now.! Be careful! She never even came back to see if we needed water or anything. Very poor service. And a rip off. If your not going for booze dont waste your time or money.

I do not understand the other patrons complaints of the waitresses having an attitude problem. I have been going here for years and have never had anything but excellent service. I cases like this, I often wonder if it is the patrons who have the attitude problem. Also, the food is delicious and has numerous items on the menu that you dont find in more typical American- Mexican restaurant.

The food was absolutely delicious and more than enough for both myself and my dining partner to take home boxes. The assortment of sauces and condiments that came with the basket of chips was also a really nice addition that kept us occupied while we waited for our food. This was one of my better experiences in Mexican town and I will definitely be back.

food was good. they over charged me by $8..not sure if it was because I wasnt mexican. wasnt in the best area so I just wanted to get the hell outta there. hostess had an attitude problem and played stupid got nervous when she was overcharging me. did not even give me a receipt.

Best Mexican Restaurant near Southwest Detroit. I have been going to this location ever since it open always the same type of quality food. Feel free to try out different plates as all the food is delicious. Taste like home cooked meals every time.

Wow! Great place for late night real authentic tacos. Safe parking in the rear of the building. The staff is friendly and attentive. Best of all the food is awesome! 5 stars for me. So good that after 3 tacos, I had to order one more.

Came to the west side to leave the tourists behind. This is where the real Mexican food is. Went old school with tacos pastor and tacos asada. Deliciosas!!! The chips were warm and salsa plantiful. Highly recommend will be back.

If you like tacos this is the spot. So many different types of meat. Also the caldos are on point. If you want the real real Mexican experience come here. Their frijoles & tortillas could be a meal on its own.
