So let me start with the good. Most of the staff is on point, attentive, and personable. The atmosphere downstairs is usually energetic and fun, weekends get busy and youre sure to run into friends. The menu has a bit of something for everyone, and they have a late night menu with snacks for after a few drinks for under $10. The not so good. The upstairs remains confusing to me, but many seem to enjoy themselves as they have a sort of DJ and dancefloor on the weekends, which is fine, but seems to not fit the overall vibe of the rest of the establishment. The food is mediocre, the menu sounds exciting but it feels like they dont put any effort on food. For $10 bucks I expect a fresh made burger not a preformed frozen patty. The beer taplist is never correct which is a huge let down because their beer list isnt terrible, they have a dozen or so taps and a decent bottle selection, but youll have to guess at what they have. The bottle list is sorted by brand, not by type, so be prepared to read it all to find your beer, then cross your fingers they have it. This leads me to the whiskey menu. And the whiskey. The bad. If you are called whiskeys on the water, youd think, well, they at least got this part right.... Nope. The same half assed approach you see everywhere else...Same goes here. The menu doesnt reflect what they stock, the $5 pours are mixed in the same "blends" menu as the $25 single malts, and if you want an Islay, again, be prepared to read the whole list. Now...Youve for me youre perfect pour of McAllen 15, or laga 16...Just hope its not one of the bottles thats been hanging out in the window being beat with sun and heat... At least put a dummy bottle of brown water and up there and pour from stock... All in all, youll probably have a good time, but everything seems like a just enough effort.

Nice establishment but the worst service I have ever gotten. I didnt even want to put 1 star. I can easily say that I will never return to this business again. I am constantly going to Wyandotte for different reasons, for business and for pleasure. I seen this place open up not to long ago and have been waiting to try it out. With the new outside patio they installed I figured that it would be a nice establishment. Went in on a Saturday night with several people and sat at an empty booth. Sat at the filthy booth for 15 minutes and was never greeted by any server. As a server passed by I asked for a wash rag to clean the booth myself, the server said sure but as I seen her pass several more times she never gave me a rag. So I asked another server, she said sure but then when she arrived a couple minutes later with some paper napkins she just threw them down on the table and didnt offer to help or offer to get us any menus or any drinks that we have been waiting for for 20 minutes now. So finally I decided to go to the bar myself and order a drink. When I ordered a drink the bartender acted like it was a chore or hassle to make my old fashion by saying "are you sure you want that? its difficult to make". Received our drinks and left to enjoy our night at an establishment where we would feel welcomed.

I spent a rainy Sunday afternoon in Wyandotte and decided to grab a burger. I was disappointed. The burger was cooked pretty closely to what I ordered (medium rare) and it had a nice char on it that yielded some extra flavor. I liked that they didnt over season the meat. The patty itself had a real solid beef flavor that I find is lacking at a lot of other venues. The bun was soft, thick, grilled, and buttered appropriately. Kudos to your burger, Whiskeys. The fries, though some were a hair under done, were generally crispy and tasty. Again, not over seasoned. If I had to gripe it would be the price, but they includes fries in the price. So, ultimately they beat out a few other places in the city that dont serve fries and even charge more for a burger. I had a good experience for my first time in. Ill be back again.

Went there in August 2016, w/a good friend from out of town. He ordered his steak very well done. Most chefs dont want to do this. I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo, both meals were Great. The micro brew beers were a nice touch along w/the outside dining and the lively atmosphere. Oh did I mention the Beautiful Public Park right behind the Restraunt on the Detroit River, in a Wonderful Safe City! A Must Pleasant Experience! Took my family from AZ to dinner last night! Food, Service, Atmosphere and Restaurant ALL EXCELLENT! This is a FAVORITE PLACE! They were Great with my grandkids ! Thank You

The atmosphere is hit and miss. Theres a lot of Bros here that get drunk and rowdy and can make the place really really loud. But you cant blame the establishment for the clientele so take that with a grain of salt. The food is good, not great. I thoroughly enjoy the Mac and cheese. Skip the pretzel bites appetizer and the squash side dish. Im gonna keep trying this place because its nearby to explore the menu some more. Nothing has particularly impressed me yet in terms of flavor. I do appreciate the beer options they have, however. Theres a good assortment of things you dont normally see.

A nice selection of drinks and of course whiskeys. As well as a nice selection of mixed drinks. They have many craft beers and ciders as well. Food wise, this is burger based with some nice entrees but with only one cut of meat for a steak they have room to expand if theyd like. I enjoyed the experience and the setting is beautiful. We parked behind the restaurant so closer to the water. The service was great from being greeted to the wait staff. The restaurant was clean from the outside in. Not to mention they have great hours! Well done.

Waitress was helpful in deciding what foods to try, kind and provided great service. Food was great, not burned or under cooked- professional presentation of food. Large selection of Alcoholic drinks and non alcoholic drinks. Very clean establishment; well maintained. Great view from upstairs or downstairs. Highly recommended; worth a try.

This place is extremly nice inside. Prices are a bit on the higher side for craft beers they have on tap... With that being said, you will not be disappointed with the craft beer selection they have available. Food has been excellent on every single visit. The service has been fast and extremely friendly. Whiskeys is not a shirt and tie establishment, however you will find the clientele as well as the wait staff well dressed. Very nice place for a dinner date or getting some great craft beers with friends.

Wandered to this place. Not familiar with Wyandotte but was in the area. Johanna is fantastic! Great service! Nicely decorated. Burger and chicken entree were wonderful. Chili ok. Beer selection very good. Disappointed with the whiskey cocktails considering its your namesake but it wont keep us from driving the 45 min again for a beautiful view of the water on a very cozy patio with excellent service!
