The worst service Ive had at a restaurant in a long time... and I eat out a lot. We went in to eat breakfast this morning. Its a Monday morning and the place wasnt busy at all when we came in. A waitress came to our table and asked us if we were ready very fast, which was great, but we werent ready. So, we told her we needed a few minutes. We werent in a hurry at all, so when she came back the second time we still werent ready. By the third time she came by, we had looked over the menu and made our decision. We ordered and the food was out to us with 7- 10 minutes. They came by right after to check on us and things were good. Thats where the great experience stopped. We didnt see another waitress for the entirety of the time we spent eating. I needed more coffee about 10 minutes in and wasnt asked by a single waitress (there were 3) until ours was dropping off our bill, even though i had set my cup on the edge of the table... you know... the customary sign for "I really need some more coffee in my life." When she dropped the bill I asked for coffee and she asked if everything was ok. I mentioned that we hadnt seen anyone in the 20 minutes that we had been eating. She responded by telling me that we had taken 3 stops to order and she was "busy." (As if I had used up my alloted table stops and was no longer -allowed- service.) She then brushed it off and walked away. Ive been serving tables for 13 years and I would -never- treat a guest the way she did me. Im normally a very large tipper... this one got nothing from me. The food was ok. The coffee was average. The service was awful. I dont plan on going back. Ever. I think the worst part for me was that from what I could tell, this awful waitress was the head waitress in charge. Shame on her. You dont blame your guest for anything if you expect to make money at your place of employment.

We were looking for a local breakfast spot and chose this place. The menu has a good selection of breakfast and lunch items. The location is easy to find, there is plenty of parking, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The patrons looked like regulars for the most part, who laughed and joked with a gentleman in a cooks apron who came out of the back from time to time to round the dining room checking on people. That gave the whole experience a cheerful feel and I also appreciated how friendly the entire staff was to the children in the dining area. The food was tasty and inexpensive, although I was disappointed in the blintzes being sold out. Loved the hash browns (more like home fry style, not the shredded kind) and the Texas French toast. Overall a very nice meal!!

me and my wife have been going there since it opened and the food got worse in the since it first opened guess they changed the wait staff and cooks one waitress there dark hair looks ruff and smells like smoke and trailer oil and mean and disrespectful and childish . we made a order and she flipped out said i cant do that let me get someone else to wait on you and rushed away and we heard her in the back talking about us to other customers WILL NEVER GO BACK JUST BETTER OFF GOING TO KENS DOWN THE STREET ITS CLEANER AND PEOPLE ARE NICER FOOD IS MUCH BETTER

I love everything about this restaurant! My daughter and I first started coming here about a year ago. The staff greeted us like we were old friends. I loved it!!! Its a very nice family style restaurant. The husband and wife comes out greet you talks to you throughout your visit. Their food is amazing with flavor and freshness. They will specially make your order for your pleasure without complaints. They mingle with all of their guests just the same as the next guest. Its good food great service and all around great experience.

terrific food and service. I came here not knowing that they closed at 3 due to a bit of a mix up on my part. I walked in at 10 to 3. Not only was I served, but the food was fresh and absolutely delicious. I must have said 4 times that I was ok with a to go box so they could clean up and leave. They insisted that I stay. Nicest people youll ever meet. I got the chicken Cajun pita. Wouldnt recommend for those who arent into spicy stuff, but theres something for everyone here. Definitely a place everyone in the area has to try!

Nothing special. The food was okay, it wasnt bad, the prices were reasonable. If your looking for homemade style pancakes, these are just the ones from a box. The service was okay. Staff was in interesting attire for work, the hostess had on "PINK" yoga pants and the waitresses had on Lions jerseys. I wouldnt go back again because I could have easily made the same thing at home but if you feel like taking it easy they arent a bad place to try.

This is an amazing place to come. Not only do they have the BEST breakfast I have ever had, the staff is beyond amazing. After a few weekends of coming here they made introduced all the staff to us and made us feel like part of the staff. Whenever I have friends or family come into town, I bring them here to almost show off how great of a place I have right down the street.

We have been eating at House of pancakes since it opened. The staff has always been kind & hard working. They have the BEST Eggs Benedict in the area. Service is top notch and the new owners since 2014 i think, treat everyone like family. Even the grouchy father of the owner pokes fun with his frequent guest.b I come every week. It is worth a try.

House of pancakes the best breakfast spot in the Sterling Heights area. The staff treat you like family and the food is cooked incredibly well. Their pancakes are by far the best Ive ever had and their omelettes are cooked to perfection. This is the first place I recommend anytime someone asks where we want to go for breakfast.

Maybe a not so hidden gem. The service here makes you feel like youre waited on hand and food. These owners and workers know how to treat their customers like royalty. Great people and even better food! They have blintzes here that are out of this world! Im in love with house of pancakes! IHOP can go kick rocks!

Hands down the best breakfast my husband and I have been to in a long time. Delicious food and excellent service! Our new breakfast place! Love it. Go there! We had omelets, pancakes, and a blintz. All delicious. We loved our waitress, Jackie. She was awesome. Thank Seph for the awesome food!!!

Just "okay" this time. Everything seemed to be moving a little slower today for some reason. The eggs werent how I ordered them. The waitress forgot my daughters side order. She never came back to ask if I want a coffee refil.

The food was so good there was a wait but its worth it. The servers are friendly and always make sure to refill your coffee or water. The food was so fresh and the strawberries were DELICIOUS I definitely recommend
