The staff at this location has really gone out of their way multiple times for me when it was not their fault things went wrong. One time my boyfriend and I placed our order and when my boyfriend went to pay, he realized he left all his money at home. Without hesitation our cashier insisted her manager would take care of it for us, and we got our food on the house and they even threw in drinks for us. Another time I was careless and didnt read all the ingredients in a sandwich and ended up not liking it, but trying to finish it anyway because I paid like $8 for it. But when I asked them what was in the sandwich, they again without question insisted to make me a new sandwich the way I liked it even though I had practically already finished the original sandwich.

RACIST and Sloppy. Whilst looking at the menu, I was asked to go to the other line, I understood and nodded, NEVERTHELESS, the cashier turned to his co-worker beside him and clearly stated; "Damn, cant dont they understand english?" it was RUDE and humiliating. I was appalled that they would have someone so crude and undereducated representing their service. Also after moving to the other line, I asked for a popular cake someone had shared with us two days prior, and they blatantly claimed that, that specific cake was "discontinued", um SURE it was.... Overall, go to ANY other panera bread besides the one on Washtenaw, the service is better elsewhere.

Ive had several issues placing catering or rapid pick up orders. Last time I got several bagel packs and they came in bags. I requested they come in boxes the subsequent time and a woman gave me a hard time saying that "they always come in boxes" and I didnt need to request it specifically. I told her the last time they didnt but she insisted that they did. I have no time for that type of argument. This latest time I ordered 4 separate bagel packs. When I came to pick them up, the bagels were put into two boxes so I actually had to go home and repackage them into 4 separate orders, as I originally ordered. Not pleasant.

Stopped in here the other day. Wow! The manager was fantastic. He took my order and made jokes the whole time. I like it when people enjoy their job! He even suggested what I order! I love going to restaurants and getting what they suggest. They eat there all the time, so I trust their judgment to try their favorite dish. Also, as to Jenns comment...Panera is very affordable. It may take a few more minutes to get food, but it is comparable to fast food prices but with fresh deli/bakery quality food.

First of all Im a bigtime Panera customer and will tolerate some things BUT when silverware and cleanliness of the plates are dirty thats a NO NO. This is NOT acceptable. Plus I asked for extra cheese on my salad which they charged me for and got no cheese so when I asked where is my extra cheese they put it on but was the regular portion NOT the extra cheese that I paid extra for. I dont like complaining at any places I go to but this was unacceptable. Will avoid this location!!

Usually very good experience, but today it was dirty, the dark roast and decaff coffee was not even out....thought they must have been refilling and would bring it during our time there, but no...never brought new canisters and the light roast was empty. When a runner was called to the counter to deliver our lunch, no one responded. My husband went and picked it up himself. Id say the Ann Arbor, Washtenaw location must need to hire more employees.

First time at this location and it was dirty( it made me not want to touch anything and leave because if the front of the restaurant is dirty how cleanly is it behind the counter), like it does not get wiped down and cleaned thouraly like it should. But other than that there was a nice thick sludge of Coffee grounds at the bottom of my coffee. Truly disappointed in how the panera is being run. I will be going to different locations from now on.

I have spent thousands of dollars at Panera bread over the years! Pisses me off that I cannot sit in my vehicle after hours, with food and a drink from Panera, and use the WIFI. They turn it off at closing time. I SPENT MONEY. I WANT TO SIT IN MY TRUCK AND USE THE WIFI!!! THIS ALONE IS MAKING ME NOT WANT TO SPEND MONEY THERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!! AGAIN. TURN ON THE WIFI AFTER HOURS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is fantastic. I think its appalling that some people complain "the sandwich wasnt hot" or "the soup wasnt hot". Youre supposed to eat food fairly quickly after getting it instead of waiting for it to get cold. The staff asks for your name, what you want, and rings you up efficiently. The coffee is great but I love the shortbread the most! It is soft and buttery! The M&M cookie is good too. Keep it up Panera! 5 stars.

This was the first time ever at this location where they were out of everything. Out of baguettes, focacia, asiago, tulip cookies and pretty much everything else. Service was pretty slow with hardly any customers in the store. Never seen it this bad. Maybe just a fluke... Hopefully Gave them another try 3 weeks later. 30 minutes to get 4 items. Never retuning to this location again!!!

I dont know what some reviewers are talking about. Ive eaten here several times over the years, including today, and its just like every other Panera Ive been at. The layout is not quite as functional, but the food and service are just what Ive come to expect. Panera is the only "fast food" joint I frequent. Good & reliable food, and good corporate citizens.

This particular panera bread has the worst setup for lining up for orders. Its important that visitors during lunch or dinner hours proceed directly to the main ordering area and not queue in the bakery area, you will loose your place in line and be told to join the other line, even if you were in line before other patrons.

When there is more vegetables on you sandwich than Tuna something is not right. They also made my sandwich on bread that I did not request. Cheddar Broccoli soup tasted right but was not as warm as it should have been. Guess driving across town was the option I should have chose...probably will not be back to this store.

We received a free cookie as a reward for My Panera card, and we were allowed to choose any pastry: cookies, huge cinnamon rolls, cheese danishes, or sweet bread. The cashier was friendly and helped me pick out a chocolatey walnut cookie, as per his recommendation. No regrets! My partner and I devoured the cookie. Mmm.

Using Panera on Washtenaw provides excellent catering services. Our company uses them for frequent meetings and they are always there when scheduled and they always do a great job setting up. If you get Mike to deliver your orders you are in the best hands ever. He is great!!!!

Good Panera location. Quick service, in the same mall as whole foods. Lots of heathy options, and pretty quick counter service. The inside is clean and nice. There is wifi. Parking is always a bit challenging, because the parking lot is always quite full, despite being pretty big.
